  1. Strange how SAO 1 doesn’t get the same treatment; I guess having the villain strip and molest someone’s girlfriend while they are forced to watch isn’t considered pornographic or a crime against public morality in China…

  2. But seriously I have seen most of these lol

    Highschool of the Dead
    Black Butler
    Devil May Cry
    So, I Can’t Play H!
    Attack on Titan
    Sword Art Online II
    Highschool DxD
and finally a few episodes of the other shows lol

      • Here is my assumption why SAO2 is labeled offensive: Maybe it is the way Sinon is dressed during the Phantom Arc, or the way she was attacked by her friend in episode 13. I have been hearing that the scene looks like she was about to be raped.

Another I idea could be that her backstory of her killing the robber looked too graphic.

I am not sure, it doesn’t make sense since the game “Lost Song” can be played for Chinese players and it is SAO.

  3. Not shock at all. Chinese government has been passing all these ridiculous regulations like they basically deleted all the sexual scenes in Empress of China. Plus since if any Chinese fans want to see them, they will find a way.

  4. Wow . . . I know China’s never had the same freedoms we have in the U.S., but that’s just terrifying that they’re controlling to that extent. Way more horrifying than any of the stuff in any of the shows you’ve listed!
