Friday Funny Episode 44: Down, Down-Right, Right and Punch!

Cue the music

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! It’s Friday everybody and we are in the middle of February! Valentines is over and so is President’s Day. As far I know, there is no more holidays in February and even though we are in winter, the weather is starting to feel like spring in California. Ever since the Marvel movie Deadpool was released in theaters last week, it made over $135 million on the box office and defeating last year’s record which was Fifty Shades of Grey and it earned $85.2. Tomorrow on Toonami, Akame ga Kill! will be entering its final episode and replacing the anime will be the new upcoming Dimension W.

Now that I took care of the news, this post is dedication to the newly released game Street Fighter V. The series is back with returning and new characters and I believe that Capcom actually did something correct. The DLC will be free and to unlock characters, you need to fight and earn “in-game” money. Now with that finished, it’s time to begin!

To end this post, I will do a top 5 on moments where Guiles’ theme goes with everything. Guile’s theme originated from Street Fighter II and his theme has been quite popular and is often used in YouTube videos. Some make moments epic while it also makes them silly. Anyway, here some music to pump you up (no particular order).

Go home and be a family man (or woman) 🙂

Besides the news of FUNimation losing anime licenses, they recently announced that they got the license for the anime film “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time” anime film. FUNimation plans to sell the DVD as a “special home video edition” for the 10th anniversary Japan theatrical release.

After waking up late, flunking her pop quiz, embarrassing herself on numerous occasions, and starting a fire in her home economics class, high school student Makoto Konno figures she’s just having one of those days. And just when she thinks she’s made it through, the brakes on her bike malfunction putting her on a collision course with a speeding train. The life-ending accident would have been the perfect end to the worst day ever, but the strangest thing happens—she leaps backwards in time.

After unlocking her new ability, Makoto does what any teenager would do. She re-takes tests, corrects embarrassing situations, and sleeps in as late as she wants, never thinking that her carefree time travelling could have a negative effect on the people she cares about. By the time she realizes the damage she’s done, she only has a few leaps left to make things right.

Anime “Dimension W” joins Toonami

As Akame ga Kill! reaches the end of the series, on February 27, the anime Dimension W will replace Akame ga Kill at 12:30 AM Eastern time. The anime will be in English and broadcasted on Toonami 2 weeks earlier than FUNimation. To those who watches anime on Toonami like myself, you will get the chance to watch this anime first. Here is the plot of the story and the cast:

In the year 2071, the world’s energy problems seem solved by a network of cross-dimensional electric-field inductors- “coils” -that extract energy from a seemingly infinite source. That source is the W dimension, a fourth plane that exists beyond the X, Y, and Z dimensions.

In this world, unofficial “illegal” coils harness powers that the police can’t hope to counter. Dealing with these coils is the job of coil-hating repo man Kyoma, whose run-in with the unique coil android Mira leads the two to form a reluctant partnership.

Kyoma: Christopher R. Sabat
Albert: Eric Vale
Mira: Jad Saxton
Loser: J. Michael Tatum
Mary: Stephanie Young

Shido: Jeremy Schwartz

Friday Funny 43: Happy Valentines Day love Deadpool <3 !

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! Today is Valentines weekend and this weekend is going to be busy. Today is the movie release of the Merc of the Mouth, Deadpool. Sunday is Valentines Day. It’s the day where you express your love towards one another and show how much you care. Good for couples but just an average day for singles, like myself :(. Still, you get chocolate and candy hearts an teddy bears :). Might as well call this a second Halloween except without the costumes and the colors are mostly red, pink and white. Here is one more fact: I hear that in Japan, girls give chocolate to boys at school and the next day, boys give white chocolate for girls; now you know. I also moved my Music Tag post with the Awards and Challenges page in my site; check it out. Enough rambling and it’s time to laugh!

Here some videos to help prepare for this Deadpool/Valentine Weekend
