It has been announced yesterday by Turner Broadcasting System inc., that they got the rights to the Gundam series Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. There are a total of 25 episodes and they will be on Toonami.

Plot synopsis based on Crunchyroll:

The Earth Sphere had lost its previous governing structure, and a new world was created under new systems of government. While a temporary peace had arrived, the seeds of a new conflict were being sown in the Mars Sphere, far away from Earth.

  1. This could be the very first Gundam show that I’ve ever seen provided that it’s not too graphic. Have you heard anything about the show? I know nothing about it aside from the synopsis that you posted above. I’m hoping that it’s awesome since a show about anime robots has always seemed like it should be great.

    • To be honest, I don’t know much about this series. I haven’t watched any Gundam series. The show looks interesting. Sorry I can’t give you the full information on the show.

      • No prob, it’ll be fun just getting launched into the unknown then. The only robot shows that I’ve seen so far are Transformers, Gurren Lagann, Heroic Age, and Neon something that I’m forgetting at the moment. It’ll be cool to see where this stacks up.

      • I agree haha. I seen the Transformer movies, Gurren Lagann, and the first Evangelion movies. It should be interesting to watch a show unprepared XD.
