TGIF!
Thank God it’s Friday! Today is another episode of TGIF Friday Funny. Excuse me for the lack of news or reviews this week, I have been busy with work and I also got distracted on some new video games. Besides getting Final Fantasy XV on the release day, last Saturday, I recently bought Sword Art Online: Lost Song for PS4 from GameStop for $21! This game is really fun and I enjoy flying around as Kirito. Even though I haven’t been posting news in regards to anime, I do got some important news to bring up again.
To those who didn’t know, a couple of anibloggers came together for a special project and decide to devote their time to help people feel good about themselves and keep the community strong and positive. They are called the OWLS.
First brought up by Kauses of Otaku Gamer Zone, he messaged the groups about this project in early November this year and we have decided that we need to make sure people feel safe about being an individual. Here is the mission:
“We are a group of otaku bloggers who promotes acceptance of all individuals regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion and disability. We emphasize the importance of respect, kindness, and tolerance to every human being.”
Also here are the members working at OWLS:
President: Katrina Sade (Grimmgirl)
Vice President: Kausus (Otaku Gamer Zone)
Secretary: Arria Cross (Fujinsei)
Co-secretrary: crimson613 (Crimson Blogs at Night)
Chief Creative Officer: LynLyn (Just Something About LynLyn)
Members Review & Disciplinary Committee Officer: Pink-chan (Pinky’s Palace)
Members Review & Disciplinary Committee Officer: Venus (Japanime Talks)
Public Relations Officer: Naja B.(aka pokeninja90) (Nice Job Breaking It, Hero)
Members (Updated):
Lita (LitaKino Anime Corner)
Matthew Castillo (Matt-in-the-Hat)
Shay (Anime Reviewer Girl)
Takuto (Takuto’s Anime Cafe)
Stephanie Clarke (Anime Girls NYC)

Besides this important news, get ready for some other news. As we get close to Christmas and people are finishing up finals at school, it’s time to kick back and go Christmas shopping. If you don’t plan to shop yet, go ready for some movies! Today is the movie release of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”. This movie is a side story about a new cast of characters who set out on a quest to uncover the secret plans of the Death Star. This story takes place between Episode III and IV. Another movie to look forward to is movie adaptation to the popular Ubisoft title “Assassin’s Creed”. In this movie, Callium Lynch will go through the experiences of his ancestors with the help of advance technology. He goes through the eyes of his ancestor in 15th century Spain, Aguilar. Aguilar is part of a secret organization known as The Assassin’s and Callium will go through the hidden mysterious of his past. The movie will be in theaters December 21.
Whew! Done with the news, now it’s time for some funnies!
To end this post, here are some video trailers for 2017:
Have an awesome day or night!
Happy Friday! Great to learn more about Owls. Hope you are well. Enjoy Star Wars Rogue One, it’s awesome! 🙂
Thank you. I hope with this new project, we can help people all over the world. I really want to see Rogue One. I heard it’s a really awesome film. 🙂
Good luck with the new project, it’s a brilliant idea. Sure it will help people everywhere. Rogue One is great, I’m going to see it again today 🙂
Thanks. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. This is a project we been talking for a while.
I actually saw Rogue One yesterday, I recommend this film! 🙂
Awesome. I saw Rogue One again today, great film, a fine addition to the Star Wars saga 🙂
I certainly agree. This movie serves as additional story to the original story. It has enough action and interesting characters to keep on the edge.
It was very exciting, a great film, I’m sure it will do really well 🙂
I think so too. As a Star Wars fan and after seeing this film, this film is a wonderful addition the story. 🙂
Tgif, bro! And yay for OWLS! Can’t wait for our 1st blog tour. And I want that Goku bathrobe!
Thank you sis! Let’s make 2017 great. Let the OWLS fly in the darkest times and lead the otakus!! I want that robe too. I just hope it doesn’t weigh tons. XD
I’m hoping so. So excited for our blog tour. I’ve received emails from potential new members. I’ve already forwarded them to the Members Review people. We’ll see.
Ahahah! I think it’s not heavy. But I don’t know.
Wow really? We’re getting new members. I can’t wait to see who wants to join. I wonder if we will grow anymore bigger.
I hope it’s not heavy. I want to look comfy and cool while wearing it. Hahaha
We’re looking for active members. So we’re focusing on commitment and of course people who can be passionate about our cause.
That makes sense. It’s easy to say I want to support but you got to be committed. This is a serious group we’re talking about.
Indeed. But I don’t want it to be “too” serious. I still want it to be fun while at the same time spreading awareness to our cause.
True. We don’t end up being enemies of the otaku culture. That’s a scary image to see.
Hahaha 😂😂 Always great fun these friday posts, nice to see some fun Star Wars gifs. I’m going to be seeing Rogue One on monday, really looking forward to it. Have a great weekend 😀
Thank you for enjoying them. I am excited to see Rogue 1. I enjoyed all the films and I really want to see this one. Let me know what’s your opinion on it. 😀
I love that Cinderella one! It’s so true!
This is my problem too. This is why we need tags or labels haha.
