With the recent trailer released from Viz Media, Viz Media and Eleven Arts will be hosting the premiere screening of the movie Sailor Moon R: The Movie on January 13th, at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. A Q&A panel will be hosted along with the staff and English Dub actors. The screening will be expanded all the way to Jan 20. The movie will be screen in 300 select theaters all the way to January 19th.
The Los Angeles premiere will be showing the “Make Up! Sailor Guardians” (Make-Up! Sailor Senshi) anime short with the movie and fans will be receiving gifts to those who attend to the film. The movie will also be available for English Dub and Sub fans.
Amazon recently announced that they are launching an anime streaming service called the Anime Strike. Amazon Prime members will be able to watch 1,000 television anime series and films in this service. The service is $4.99 per month and there is also a 7-free day trial for those who want to try before paying. The anime shown will also include English Dub and Sub for titles. Amazon holds the license Chi’s Sweet Adventure, Onihei, The Great Passage, ViVid Strike!, Shin-chan Spin-off vol.1 Aliens vs. Shinnosuke, and Scum’s Wish.
The program will also be streaming Blue Exorcist – Kyoto Saga –. It will also include older anime like Death Note, Btooom!, Akame ga KILL!, Akira, and Paprika.
