Friday Funny 102: Attack on Hackers

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back for another exciting episode of TGIF: Friday Funny. This is another special episode because today is the last day of March 2017. It’s been fun in March while it lasted. For me, we had our ups and downs. We laugh, we cry and we smile through this day with sweat and blood. If you guys didn’t know, this week was birthday on March 28. I did a special shout out/top posts on Tuesday, I wrote about my experience in Anime Jungle in Little Tokyo and I shared you a post of my gifts.

One of the saddest news I found that the creator of High School of the Dead Daisuke Satō, died on March 22nd. Rest in peace and thanks for giving us a great zombie series.

Speaking of series, get ready for this weekend because they both have something to do with anime. Today is the live-action movie adaptation to the classic anime Ghost in the Shell. In this movie, Scarlett Johansson plays as the Major, first human to be a cyber-enhanced super soldier, as she must stop a hacker terrorist and find the truth about her identity.

Also, coming out on this weekend, we got long awaited season 2 of Attack on Titan. Eren and his friends must fight the titans again but this time, watch as they face new and old titans and uncover the hidden mysterious about the wall. If you are not into that, get ready for the second season of Weekly Shonen Jump’s superhero series My Hero Academia. Deku and his friends are back and they must use their quirks to get stronger and survive in order to become superheros. FUNimation will be simulacasting this anime and Crunchyroll will be doing the same as well for AoT. Let’s hope this is not a prank.

Now, onward to this titan sized Friday!

To end this post, here some Titan videos!

Check out this funny fan-made honest trailer of Final Fantasy XV made by MeticulousOtaku . In this video, she tells her opinion on one of Final Fantasy XV’s hardest missions and describes it in a funny manner.

Time to say good bye. Watch out for Batou!

My birthday gifts

Here is another short post.

Besides the stuff I bought from Little Tokyo, I got some gifts from my  family and I want to share some pictures for you guys on what I got for my birthday.

My younger brother got me a Marvel t-shirt, my sister and her husband got me two Pokemon shirts and my parents got me a Mortal Kombat shirt. They also got me the Final Fantasy XV – Piano Collection.

I also got some money from my grandparents. I used some gift money and purchased some Kingdom Hearts goods from Hot Topic: a lanyard and an exclusive Donald Duck Pop Funko figure.

My mom, who works in Scentsy, also got me a new burner and the burner is designed to look like stacked stones. I have  a habit of stacking stones whenever I go to the beach and my mom got me this candle. Scentsy is a company that sells lamps that burns and create fresh scents from burning wax, scented candles to be exact. It looks like this:

Whenever I try to stack stones, I feel like Smoker from One Piece.

I also got to download the dlc to Final Fantasy XV, Episode Gladiolus. I still need to finish the story, but I did play Chapter 13, verse 2 with Gladio. Gladio is a strong fighter and I enjoyed seeing his story.

To end this post, I will let Donald and Kirito say good bye.

Kirito: Good bye everyone. Thanks for the love for Matthew.

Donald: Bye! Bye! Come back real soon. You made Matt  a very happy boy.

Thank you guys for the nice comments and messages. God bless you all.

Anime Jungle Experience

I am going to be quick on this post. Today was my unofficial, or unhappy birthday today and for this day, my family took me on a trip to Little Tokyo. They know that I love anime and manga and my fascination on Japanese culture. Little Tokyo was an exciting place to go. In a funny way, it was like being in actual Tokyo from Japan. My family and I went to the Anime Jungle, also known as the Entertainment Hobby Shop Jungle. I went to three stores and I bought something from each one. I got my first ever Pop! figure of Kirito from Sword Art Online, two manga books of Rosario Vampire Season 2, and a Tobi mask from Naruto Shippuden.

My actual birthday is on March 28th!

Friday Funny 101: It’s Morphin Time!

Thank God it’s Friday! Today is another exciting episode of Friday Funny. You might be wondering, what makes this day exciting, it’s because I got some important news to share with you all. Today is the movie release of the Power Rangers. It’s been forever since the classic 1995 version but now that we are in 2017, get ready to experience the classic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers with an updated cast and some intense action martial arts combat and Megazord fights. Watch as teenagers with an attitude deal with an evil so powerful that needs to be defeated by a colorful team. This movie is another addition to this March month of movies. Excluding the movie Sword Art Online since some were very limited, we had Logan, Kong and Beauty and the Beast and next week we having the last film of March, Ghost in the Shell.

I also have some gaming news from the people who makes Final Fantasy and really long and delayed titles. Square Enix will be releasing a new collection game of Kingdom Hearts for PS4. The game is called Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX and it will include 6 games remastered for the PS4 systems. Personally, this is perfect if you want to get into Kingdom Hearts. If that doesn’t interests we got more stuff for Final Fantasy XV. On March 28th, SE will be releasing a DLC episode that will focus on Noctis’s friend Gladiolus. Episode Gladiolus is a special episode where players can play as Gladio and fight against enemies with a brute strength.

Last but not least, we got some birthdays coming up! This Sunday is my mother’s birthday. Not only it will be her birthday but it will also be my parents anniversary! My birthday is coming up too and it will be on March 28, on Tuesday! I will also be doing a special post on my birthday on Tuesday. Keep your eyes peeled!

So let’s start this day with a celebration!

To end this post, here is a collection of videos to pump up this weekend!

Good bye and have a wonderful weekend!

Live-Action Death Note released date news

If you have been following online, Netflix recently released a teaser trailer to the live-action movie to the manga and anime series Death Note (American version). The teaser revealed the three main casts Light (Nat Wolff), L (LaKeith Stanfield) and Mia (Margaret Qualley). He wasn’t shown but his voice was heard but Willem Dafoe will be Ryuk. Here is the plot synopsis:

Death Note tells the story of high schooler Light, who comes across the Death Note notebook, which gives him the power to kill others simply by writing their name in the book. The Death Note comes with a few extra rules, however, but Light begins to use his powers to kill those he sees unfit to live.

The film will be released in Netflix on August 25.

Personally, this looks really interesting. I just hope it follows the main story like the original. If you guys thought the Ghost in the Shell movie looks terrible or good, check this trailer out.

Final Fantasy XV DLC Review: Holiday and Booster Pack

In this review, I will be talking about the recent DLC packs for the game Final Fantasy XV. Final Fantasy XV is a game filled with an amazing story and cast of characters Square Enix wants to continue to make this game even more fun for players by adding exclusive items and content for players. Some are fun to play while others help add a challenge or support to the story. Besides the single DLC like Reglia Decal skins or weapons, Square Enix recently released two DLC packs with a certain amount of content. The first one is called the Holiday Pack and the second is the Booster Pack. They are free DLCs but if you bought the season pass, players will receive exclusive items (If you got the season pass, players will be able to download the packs with plus sign on the side e.g. Booster Pack +). I bought the season pass and I will be going over each pack.

Toonami News: Tokyo Ghoul replaces One Piece

If the news is true and no mistake, this is happening.

Announced early this morning, Toonami announced on their Facebook that starting on March 25th, the long Shonen series One Piece will be replaced with the anime Tokyo Ghoul. Tokyo Ghoul will be taking its spot and if One Piece is taken off, that we will not be getting the Sabaody Archipelago arc on TV.

Here’s a random fact, One Piece joined Toonami on May 2013 starting episode 207.
