News: Upcoming Rurouni Kenshin manga arc! Sword Art Online movie English Dub

Rurouni Kenshin

English license company Viz Media posted up an English-Subtitled interview of Hisashi Sasaski (vice president for global Shonen Jump at Viz Media and former editor-in-chief of Shueshia’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine). In the interview, he mentions his experience as editor to Rurouni Kenshin Nobuhiro Watsuki. In this news however, it appears that he and Watsuki are meeting together again for an upcoming arc for the Rurouni Kenshin manga. The new arc is called the “Hokkaido Arc”. The new series will have 5 arcs. The manga will be published in the spring.

Recently, he and his wife Kaoru Kurosaki have worked together to release a two-chapter prologue to the arc called Rurouni Kenshin Hokkaido Arc Prologue: The Criminal Ashitaro.

Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale movie review and experience

[official site synopsis]

In 2022, the world of virtual reality was upended by the arrival of a new invention from a genius programmer, Akihiko Kayaba. Called NerveGear, it was the first full-dive system and with it, came endless possibilities to VRMMORPGs.
In 2026, a new machine called the Augma is developed to compete against the NerveGear and its successor, the Amusphere. A next-gen wearable device, the Augma doesn’t have a full-dive function like its predecessors. Instead, it uses Augmented Reality (AR) to get players into the game. It is safe, user-friendly and lets users play while they are conscious, making it an instant hit on the market. The most popular game on the system is “Ordinal Scale” (aka: OS), an ARMMORPG developed exclusively for the Augma.
Asuna and the gang have already been playing OS for a while, by the time Kirito decides to join them. They’re about to find out that Ordinal Scale isn’t all fun and games…

Friday Funny 99: You Can’t See Me!

Long ago in the distant cyberspace

WordPress, the Master of blogs,

Unleashed some amazing bloggers

But, a foolish young man wielding some amazing writing skills

Stepped forward to oppose it

Before he was about to depart

WordPress tore open a portal in time

and flung him into the anime community

where anime and randomness is law

Now the blogger seeks to survive

and hope to see another day!

(this is an exaggeration!)
