Announced today at a conference, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that they are working on a new Dragon Ball video game that will be set to be released worldwide. This new game is known as a Dragon Ball Fighters “2.5D” fighting game and it will be for PS4, Xbox One and Steam. The game will include 10 different languages as well English. Also mentioned at the conference, the game is being worked by Arc System Works (The team Developer who makes BlazBlue and Guilty Gear).
Game producer Tomoko Hiroki states that the game will include 3v3 matches and unlike most 3D fighting games, the game will be 2.5D; in which means, the game will have anime 2d style animation along with 3D angle and movements which will allow players to recreate moments from the anime.
The game is set to be released in 2018.
I found this out in Anime News Network.

Based on the trailer, the animation and team who worked on anime like One-Punch Man and Tokyo Ghoul will be part of creating this anime. Here is the synopsis of the anime:
Enter the world of INDIGO IGNITED, a post-apocalyptic dark fantasy anime. A shattered world sustained by bloodshed and built upon the remnants of an ancient order that was abolished in their conquest to rid the world of Fear. Driven out of their homeland, KIERAN and his comrades descend into a maddened environment driven by chaos in hopes of being the last ember of light within a darkened world.
Thank God it’s Ultra Friday! Hello everyone, this Matthew and I am here again in another episode of Friday Funny. You might be wondering, why did I say Ultra Friday and what makes it ultra; to be honest, there is nothing really Ultra about today. I said this because I got some ultra gaming news today. Revealed at Nintendo Direct, Nintendo revealed some new Pokemon games for the 3DS and Switch. If you like Sun and Moon, get ready for a new and updated version of this game called Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. According to resource, the game will be set in a alternate storyline unlike the previous game and Mega forms return. However, many fans were displeased with the news because many wanted a remake version of the Sinnoh region (Diamond and Pearl or Platinum) or many wanted this game to also appear for Switch. If you like the spinoff fighting game Pokken, I got good news for you, they also revealed a sequel called Pokken Tournament Dx in which will include more playable Pokemon, this will be for Switch.
If want to avoid the Pokemon drama, I got other news involving Final Fantasy. Announced on Wednesday, Square Enix will be releasing the fighting game Dissidia Final Fantasy NT for PS4 in early 2018. This game was partnered up with Team Ninja and Noctis Lucis Caelum will be joining the game.
