If you guys didn’t know, last night was the Video Game Awards 2017! Besides giving awards to most recognizable games like The Legend of Zelda and Persona 5, many video game companies has released some interesting news for upcoming 2018. I can’t really listen them all but I will point out some personal favorites that I found interesting.
First off, Platinum Games has released news that the popular hack and slash game Bayonetta will be getting a third game! Not only we are getting Bayonetta 3, but if you are Switch user, Bayonetta 1 and 2 will be ported to the Switch as well. Switch gamers will experience Bayonetta on Switch in 2018!
Also joining in the fighting game world is the long return of the Soul Calibur series. Revealed in a teaser trailer, Bandai Namco revealed Soul Calibur 6. According to the team, the game will be played and based on Tekken 7. Strangely and surprisingly enough, the gameplay revealed that the characters and game will go back to the original game and “uncover hidden truths”. The characters revealed is a young Mitsurugi and Cassandra. This game will be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC for 2018.
