The Mystery Blogger Award

mystery blogger award

If I had a dollar for every award I receive, I would end up being richer than Kanye West. LOL!

Anyway, thank you Kat Sade from GrimmGirl for nominating me for this Mystery Blogger Award. As always, I do like getting these awards, but too bad I get a bad habit of doing these late. I am happy to do these awards and answer your questions. Here is the rules:

  • Put the award/logo on your blog
  • List the rules
  • Thank whoever nominated you, link to their blog, and answer their questions
  • Mention the creator of this award (I have no idea who that isโ€ฆ you might say itโ€™s a mystery)
  • Nominate people (I usually do five but you can do as many as you want honestly)
  • Ask your nominees 5 questions with one weird or funny one
  • Share link to one of your best posts

One of my best posts

To start this award post, I want to share one of my best posts from my blog. I recommend reading “Response: My anime beginning story“. This post talks about how I got into anime specifically.

President Kat’s questions

1. If you could bring back one cancelled show what would it be?

I would like to see Loonatics Unleashed return. I heard from my friend Allie that this cartoon was cool and funny, but it only made it to two seasons.

2. What was the first anime you ever watched?

My first anime that I got into was Pokemon. When I was little, I thought it was a cartoon because it appeared with cartoons like Animanics and Tiny Toon Adventures.

3. What is a goal you have as a blogger?

I want to be able to make my blog into a career. I would like to make money from my writing. Writing is what I am good at and I want to share my voice to the world.

4. Who is your favorite Sailor Moon character?

I haven’t seen Sailor Moon, but I heard a bit about the characters. I like the protagonistย Serena Tsukino because I hear she is strong and silly. I also like Tuxedo Mask because I heard one of my favorite voice actor Robbie Daymond voiced him.

5. Last anime you dropped and why?

I think the last anime I dropped was Mobile Suit Gundam: Unicorn. After I saw the first season of Iron-Blooded Orphans, I was curious about trying other Gundam series. When I heard Toonami would premier Unicorn, I decided to give it a try. I forget how many I episodes I watched, but I stopped around 10 episodes because it looked boring to me. I think I fell asleep one time. Eventually, I will probably give this anime another try in the future.

  1. I have reached my limit of awards that I have to do, too many, so I’ll answer here!

    1. Olives, black olives
    2. I never watched it, I saw one episode and it scared me to death. Now I just dislike the voice of sb.
3.eevee. Because my real life nickname is very close.
    4. Um…. Hmm… I can’t think of anything.
    5. G-force, the movie about the talking rodents.

  2. Congrats on the award, @Matthew. ^ ^
Loonatics reminds me a game that I played a long time ago, and there’re those characters. I luv to use duck or dog to be main character (and I forgot its title & their names).

      • Thanks, I always try my hardest when I blog. And if course I support your blog for a nerdy girl like me it’s very informative for me cause if my love for anime and video games.

      • Haha thanks and I support anyone and everyone who enjoys blogging and writing. I’ve watched anime since I was like 6 or 7 and have been playing video games since I was like 9 or 10. Anime doesn’t get enough credit amd neither do video games both take so much time so I show my appreciation by watching or playing and tgen write about it. What can I say I enjoy being nerdy. ๐Ÿ˜€

      • Wow that’s awesome. I think I started playing games around that age too. I remembered playing Mario, Crash and Sonic. My first anime was Pokemon and then DBZ. The whole point of my blog is to share my love for the nerd hobbies lol. I would rather be a nerd for life ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Haha yes! My first anime was Digimon I think then Yugioh and DBZ. My first video games was Crash Bandicoot, Spyro and then Tony Hawk Proskater 3. And yeah thats why I write my blog as well for anything nerdy whether it be book reviews, anime stuff or video game info. The nerd culture needs to be kept alive!

      • That’s awesome. I think I missed out on Digimon, but I do love Yugioh. It’s my childhood show. Crash and Spyro was my favorite games growing up on the Playstation. Together, we can spread our love of nerd culture and show everyone that it is cool to be a nerd. Embrace yourself!

      • Yes I definitely will. And if you did nominate me for a blog award I would be very grateful! You keep up your good work as well maybe someday the both of us can make our writing into careers!

      • Lol yeah. And I being a bookworm myself always enjoy having a soda or smoothie to drink while I’m reading and the book trilogy I want to write my sister is also writing with me. It’s cool becajse tge whole idea to write the books stemmed from an inside joke between the two of us. ๐Ÿ˜€

      • My sister actually doesn’t read that much but she is really good at writing and I love her ideas! And yeah the trilogy I think will be really fun and cool. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • It’s actually about a vampire girl named Annastasya living her life in modern day New York. But something is wrong and different about Annastasya and that is she doesn’t remember her life as a human in the victorian era. She also has no idea who turned her and now that she has friends who are like her family she will do everything in her power to protect them. But something sinister is brewing in the depths of the coven Annastasya considers her family. And her past memories might be the key to all the decension in the coven but will she be able to handle the truth once she regains her memories?

      • Interesting. So this is a story about vampires, but the protagonist doesn’t remember anything from her past. Sounds like this is going to be one of those action stories.

      • Yeah lots of blood and gore and stuff but also has hints of romance as well. I’ve always loved a good vampire story but always wanted some sort of mythological twist to it but never read any vampire books like that aside from like Anne Rice. But she made her own mythology kf vampires for the most part. What I want to do is incorporate already existing mythology of native americans and Sumerian cultures along with the vampires in the modern world. It will also have a bit if a historical fiction as well. It’s a book I’ve always looked to read but never found so I figured why not write the books myself! My sister helps with editing and stuff and then if I’m stumped and can’t figure out something to keep the plot going she’ll tell me what she wants to do amd where she thinks it should go if I agree I write it amd make the characters react to it as I think they should. If I disagree we simply brain storm and think of something else. I already have 14 chapters handwritten because I don’t have a very good computer at the moment. ๐Ÿ˜€

      • Yep I live in Massachusetts so theres alot of reputable publishing companies to chose from plus New York isn’t to far away either so we could send it to publishing companies there as well.
