We Never Learn is getting an anime!

If you have been reading the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine online, you may have heard this romantic comedy series We Never Learn. Announced today from ANN, this manga series is finally getting an anime! The anime will be directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki (he directed anime like Love Hina) and the studio will be done by Studio Silver and Arvo Animation. In charge of the composition of the anime will be Go Zappa who did A Bridge to the Starry Skies and Masakatsu Sasaki is in charge of designing the characters; he previously did A-Channel and Saki.

The manga originally appeared in the February 2017 issue. The manga originally appeared as a free preview called Jump Start and after getting attention, the series stayed with the magazine.

Here is what the story is described as:

The manga’s story centers on Yuiga, a student who is aiming for a scholarship because he comes from a poor family. His school gives him a condition: he can have a recommendation for a scholarship if he tutors his two beautiful classmates to help them get into the schools of their choice. Ogata may be a science genius and Furuhashi a literature prodigy — but Ogata is aiming for a liberal arts school and Furuhashi is aiming for a science school. And they’re both clueless outside their fields of expertise.
