  1. I really don’t see the point of this. The reason Deadpool works is because it’s R rated and fits the character perfectly. Making it a pg 13 movie really makes no sense at all. And for Battle Angel Alita to be pushed back because of this makes me very sad, as I was really looking forward to that one.

    • Yeah a lot of people complained about it like you said. What makes Deadpool unique and different than other Marvel movies is because his character and he is willing to push the boundaries. Removing the contents that made it rated R and settling for PG-13 is going to affect the movie dramatically. This also means young kids will most likely try to take advantage of the system. When I heard the Alita movie being pushed back, I was surprised. It looked really interesting and I heard the anime version was cool.

      • I’ve seen the anime version ages ago, and it was okay. The manga is much better though, but yeah this live action version looked very interesting. So it’s a shame it’s been pushed back.
Yeah, exactly that is precisely why Deadpool is so unique, so this move really doesn’t make any sense to me.

      • Really? I should get my hands on the manga then. I would probably do both and see what the story and characters are like.
It’s going to be tough to try to get more views this Christmas season when we have other movies like the other Spider-Man movie and Bumblebee spinoff.

      • Definitely recommend the manga over the anime (which is only a 55 minute long movie, and is hardly able to capture the spirit of the manga. It’s a fun film, but certainly not as good as the manga. Alita is one of my favorite manga characters of all time).
True enough: december is going to be another good month for movies 😊😊

  2. I remember reading that the studio & creators were upset that Deadpool 2’s revenue tanked after the first week, so I’m guessing they think that getting some of the students on winter break will make up for it.

    • That could be it. If the money they made and recieved is low, this could be a problem. They probably want to bring in many people as possible to earn more money. This is like a second chance for Fox.
