Friday Funny 181: No more heroes, only Venom

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome my brothers and sisters for another fun filled day of Friday Funny. We are official in the first Friday of October and I hope everyone didn’t get spooked to hard yet. Can you believe that we are on the last three months of 2018? I can’t believe it either. Summer is officially over and fall has taken over the season. So far I haven’t had pumpkin spice latte and I only got regular coffee. Make sure everyone stay bundled up and try not to get sick. As you guys already know, the Marvel movie Venom is out on theaters today! Made by Sony, we take a break of the typical heroic movies of the MCU and we focus on a dark, anti-hero named Venom. Venom is a popular character in the Marvel comics and he is important in the world of Spider-Man. Created by the same guy who did Spawn Todd McFarlene, Venom is introduced to the comics in the 80s as first a villain to Spider-Man and then later an anti-hero. Venom has many hosts in later in the series like Wolverine, Punisher and even Peter Parker’s classmate Flash Thompson, but the original host is always Eddie Brock. If you are not interested in watching Venom, I got some news for you anime fans. If you have Netflix, Violet Evergarden is back and we are given a special anime episode! Joining Crunchyroll for the fall is the return of Sword Art Online season 3 also known as Sword Art Online Sword Art Online: Alicization. Kirito is back and is going back to the virtual world and meeting new characters and unlike the past seasons, this anime is going to be a long series which will probably take up 50 episodes. You can watch this anime on Crunchyroll, Hulu and now FunimationNow; thanks to the partnership with Crunchyroll, Funimation users can stream this anime in both Crunchyroll and Funimation. Another great anime return is JoJo part 5 titled JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures Part 5: Golden Wind. This fifth part of the story focuses on the protagonist Giorno and with the power of both Dio and Joestar blood, he hopes to use his powers to take over the Mafia in Italy.

Last and definitely not least, I am officially an uncle. My sister gave birth to a baby daughter named Serenity and my sister and her husband are ready for a new chapter in their lives. The baby was born last week on Thursday Sept 27.

Now without a further ado, let’s get edgy!

To hype you up, here are some Venom videos from his movie and first appearance in Spider-Man 3:

See you next time fans and fams

      • Cheers! Yes, looking foward to the weekend. Might go see Venom at cinema if I get a chance. Also we’ve got the new sereis of Doctor Who starting on Sunday, so excited for that. Sure there will be lots of NYCC news as well. Just seen the Aquaman trailer, looks awesome! Enjoy your weekend as well πŸ™‚

  1. Congrats again on becoming an uncle! 😊
I saw the Venom movie yesterday and I can confirm it is a really fun film! Hope that you will enjoy it too. Sadly the Violet Evergarden episode isn’t yet available in Europe 😒😒😒 Was really hyped when I heard the news about that, but alas seems I have to wait a bit longer.
    Have a great weekend! 😊

    • Thank you, it’s been blessing to be one :). I want to see Venom despite the mixed reviews people gave it. It looks really interesting in my opinion. Sorry to hear about you have to wait longer for the special Violet Evergarden episode.

I hope you have a great weekend too and God bless you. πŸ™‚

      • Well, all I can say is, don’t believe a word that the critics are saying. It’s total nonsense😊 I really had a blast watching it. Working on my review for it right now, which should be out tomorrow 😊

      • Hey thanks for the advice :)! I have been hearing about the reviews and many people did say they enjoyed it regardless. Hopefully I will see it and then take the time to read your review πŸ™‚
