*Warning: Spoilers to video game stories!

01. What story made you incredibly angry and why?

The Ending of Marvel Spider-Man for the PS4 (SPOILERS!)

Here is what happened if you didn’t know, It turns out that the mastermind of the Sinister Six and the cause of the Devil’s Breath epidemic was Dr. Otto Octavius and he was also Peter Parker’s mentor. The reason why Doc Ock attacked New York with his criminals because he wanted revenge on Mayor Norman Osborn and wanted to expose his corrupt powers by attacking on innocent people . The Devil’s Breath is a deadly virus and anyone exposed of this without an antidote will die. After defeating all the bad guys, Spider-Man was able to retrieve the antidote. It turns out that his Aunt May got infected by the virus and Peter was eager to save her. Unfortunately, the doctor states that the antidote needs time to be made for others, and if Spider-Man does wait, Aunt May will die and on other hand, if Spider-Man chose to save Aunt May, all the infected people of New York will die. Seeing this scene was painful to watch and seeing that Aunt May knew about Peter’s superhero identity and was always worrying about like a parent was the last straw. In the end, Peter chose to use the antidote for everyone in New York and let Aunt May die. Seeing this in the game made me mad that someone as innocent like Aunt May die because of the bad guys. Even though this game is all about Spider-Man, where’s the Avengers, Daredevil, and Jessica Jones? Why didn’t they help Spider-Man fight the Sinister Six? Still, the game is good and we did get some good in the ending so it’s technically not a bad ending.

02. If you could rewrite the ending to anyone story which would it be and what would you change?

The ending of Final Fantasy XV (Spoilers Again!)

After I played the alternate ending of Episode Ignis, I wanted this ending instead the original ending. In the original ending, the protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum has finally accepted his role as the King of Kings and was going to take his throne and restore light of the world. The only way to bring peace to the world was to fight the cursed bloodline of the family, Ardyn Lucis Caelum, and he had to die for the world. What happened in the alternate ending of Episode Ignis is when Ignis follows Ardyn back to the Empire Kingdom of Niflheim . Ignis uses Noctis’ Ring of Lucii to fight the immortal Ardyn on his own with the cost of his life. After defeating him, he is left for dead and with Noctis, Prompto and Gladiolus showing up minutes later. After seeing his friend sacrifice himself, Noctis takes the role and accepts his role early on and miraculously saves Ignis. The game later shows everyone doing well in the story and this DLC ends with Noctis surviving and becoming the new king and Ignis serving him. Overall, this DLC version had  a positive version and I like seeing my favorite characters alive.

03. Easy one – favorite opening theme song ever?

My 3 questions to you:

  1. Do you have a guilty pleasure on a TV/movie series or music?
  2. What is one super power you wished you had?
