Remember the old news that Hajime Tabata left the studio “Studio Luminous Productions”? Just in case you didn’t, hear is the news: It was announced in November that game director Hajime Tabata left Final Fantasy XV and his team and this led a chain reaction where Square Enix decided to cancel out many of the game’s anticpating contents. These contents was going to be more DLC episodes for Final Fantasy XV. These DLC were Episode Ardyn, Lunafreya, Aranea and Noctis. However, since Square Enix decided to cut some of the DLC, the only one remaining was Episode Ardyn which will be released in March 2019.
Recently announced today from Dual Shockers, there might be hope. A new person joins the game’s team Studio Luminous Productions and becomes the head of the team; his name is Takeshi Aramaki and he is FFXV lead programmer and he will be in charge of the studio.
On the official website of Studio Luminous Production, here is what Takeshi Aramaki said in regards to the position:
I’m Takeshi Aramaki, VP of Development at LUMINOUS PRODUCTIONS. I had the honor of being the lead programmer for FINAL FANTASY XV. In developing FFXV, we meticulously pursued the potential of games, from the open world system to the application of emotion-filled AI. This philosophy is ingrained in our staff and LUMINOUS ENGINE, our proprietary creative toolset, and continues to grow each day. We are currently making steady progress on a brand new title. We cannot wait to show you, and we hope that you look forward to its reveal.
Still, I don’t want to give people high hopes of bringing back these cut DLC, but I am just here to say it might be a possibility that there will be more fun coming for FFXV.
