Back to square one: Metroid Prime 4 production starts over

Looks like Metroid Prime fans are going to have to wait for this anticipating Nintendo game. The announced title Metroid Prime 4 will be delayed and the production for this game will start all over again. Nintendo with the company developing the game Retro Studios. Released in a update video, Shinya Takahashi stated that the reason why the team is starting all over is because during the development, the team faced some challenges.

The game was announced in E3 2017. The game will be made for Nintendo Switch. The first Metroid Prime game was released in 2002 for the Nintendo GameCube and the last Prime game Metroid Prime 3: Corruption was released in 2007 for the Wii.
