Oro?! You heard me! A certain red-haired samurai is coming back in the big screen. To be honest, I found this news out from my blogger friend Lita from Lita Kino Anime Corner.
According to Anime News Network, Warner Bros of Japan announced that there are plans of two more “final” live-action movies of Rurouni Kenshin. The first movie is called Jūji Kizu no Naze (Mystery of the Cross-Shaped Scar), and the second movie is Saikyō no Teki・Enishi (Most Terrifying Enemy – Enishi). Meaning that these two movies is going to focus on the final arc of the manga. The final arc is called the Jinchu Arc and it takes place after the Kyoto Arc where Kenshin fought Shishio Makoto. In the Jinchu Arc, fans get to learn how did Kenshin become the manslayer and where did he got the scar. It also has the iconic final battle with Kenshin and Enishi, a man seeking revenge for the death of his sister Tomoe. It’s announced the previous actors for Kenshin (Takeru Satoh) and Kaoru (Emi Takei) will return to their characters. The movies will be released in 2020!
