Friday Funny 216: X-Men assemble!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back to another episode of Friday Funny! It’s me Matthew and I am here to give you weekend’s worth of memes. I hope everyone is staying cool in this heated week. Even though we’ll still in spring, it feels like summer came earlier than usual. Before we begin, let’s talk about some quick recap news. It’s been announced that the classic Nickelodeon game SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom will be back for the modern consoles and it will be re-titled  SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated. Nintendo revealed more gameplay in the upcoming Pokemon games Sword and Shield. We got new characters like Professor Magnolia and his granddaughter Sonia and we finally get to see the two legendary Pokemon. Make sure you save enough money to buy these games. Last but not least, we got another hot movie this weekend. If you already finished watching Aladdin and Godzilla: The King of the Monsters, make plans to see the Marvel movie Dark Phoenix. Taking place after the events of X-Men Apocalypse, the X-Men and even Magneto has to work together to face an enemy too powerful to control and it’s one of their own allies, Jean Grey. Jean, also known as Phoenix, is a powerful member of the X-Men and a great partner in the team. However, after she absorbs some dark matter energy, she will be reborn as Dark Phoenix and be the greatest enemy for the X-Men. If you are tired of people talking about the Avengers, go check out Dark Phoenix. I heard the next X-Men titled movies we’re getting in the future is a Gambit solo movie and a horror movie New Mutants.

With this said, let’s go and party!

(Also please donate to my Ko-fi)

To help you hype up for Dark Phoenix, check out these trailers for the X-Men reboot movies.

For the heck of it, here are the cartoon intros for X-Men:

That’s the end of this post. Have a sizzling hot weekend!

      • This is just for computer reference, in case there is a pattern for your folowers browsing incognito or with a VPN.

When I am reading one of your posts, (and I try to check in every Friday), WP prompts me with the little “Follow+” button, which I do.
But then the next week, I am prompted again. The icon does not go away like for the other blogs I follow.

It probably has something do do with my VPN I started using. Because I’m in Toronto … no Hong Kong … no Amsterdam … Ha Ha … you will never catch me Internet police …
