Remember that DC movie Joker? Warner Bros and DC comics with movie director Todd Phillips are going to create a movie based on Batman’s iconic villain, the Joker. Unlike the DC movies such as Aquaman and Wonder Woman, this will be its own separate film set in a realistic world. In other worlds, it’s not part of the DCEU (DC Extended Universe) also known as Worlds of DC. The one who will play as the Joker will be actor Joaquin Phoenix. It’s been confirmed by the official website that the movie finally has an official rating. The movie Joker will be rated R for “strong bloody violence, disturbing behavior, language and brief sexual images.”

Joker comes out on October 4th 2019.

Plot Synopsis:

Director Todd Phillips “Joker” centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone fictional story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck, who is indelibly portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix, is of a man struggling to find his way in Gotham’s fractured society. A clown-for-hire by day, he aspires to be a stand-up comic at night…but finds the joke always seems to be on him. Caught in a cyclical existence between apathy and cruelty, Arthur makes one bad decision that brings about a chain reaction of escalating events in this gritty character study.

D23 2019 news: Disney+ reveals new Marvel TV series focusing on Moon Knight, She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel

First things first, if you don’t know what is D23, I will explain. D23 is a fan club convention for fans who love Disney related titles and franchises. Let me share some recap news just in case you been slacking off on reading the news. Gamescon 2019 has been going on this week and this means we are getting tons of video game news. Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is planning to hit the digital stores on Sept 3rd for all platforms. Mortal Kombat 11 has just unvieled the full roster for the DLC pack in which players will be able to play as Joker from the Batman comics, Spawn from his comics created by Todd McFarlane and T-800 Terminator from the Terminator movies. Anime gamers got some news as well from Bandai Namco and Atlus. We are getting some new characters and fun gameplay in the upcoming One Punch Man video game and people can expect to play as Goku’s son Gohan in the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game. Persona fans can expect to play Persona 5 Royal in early spring of 2020 if you are in the West and not Japan. I also have some sad news for Marvel fans. It’s been reported that due to a financial deal dispute with Sony and Disney, it’s unlikely that Spider-Man will return in future MCU movies. From I heard, it’s not finalized yet, but the chances of Spider-Man going back to Sony is pretty high. Once this happens, there will be two more planned Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland still retaining as Peter/Spider-Man, but since Disney won’t be involved, Spider-Man will have to go on his adventures without mentioning anything from Disney. Which means, we’re going have to forget the moments with Iron Man, Thanos and anything related to the Avengers. This could also mean that Spider-Man could be part in movies with Venom since Sony does own Venom. On a probably good news, on August 29th, Sony is bring back Spider-Man: Far From Home into theaters again but this time, they are going to be showing you deleted scenes that were removed from the original showing. In random news, I saw the Netflix movie Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus. I might do a review on this movie, but I will say that this movie was really good. It reminded me of watching the cartoons when it was on TV and still had the same type of humor.

With all this said, let’s go spider fans!

With all this Spider-Man news going on, here are some Spider-Man videos!

That’s all folks! I hope you enjoyed your memes and dose of Sony humor!
