Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back for an exciting episode of Friday Funny! I hope you are not too full from your Thanksgiving feast because I am going to bring some juicy memes for your weekend! If you are shopping online on Black Friday, then congratulations because you don’t have to deal with the bloody carnage of shopping in stores with shoppers. What do you plan to buy this weekend? A new game console? An HD TV? A new laptop? Besides shopping, we are in the last Friday of November and after this weekend, it will be December. December will be the last month of 2019 and it will be a cold month. It’s already cold where I live and it already feels like winter was here early. With Christmas coming to us, are you guys ready for the next big holiday? Get ready to see your favorite Christmas movies on loop on TV and listen to classic songs from Frank Sinatra or the Mariah Carey Christmas song. I am hoping to take advantage on sales and shop for others and me. If you can’t get enough of The Mandalorian, brace yourself on December where the Skywalker Saga will come to an end. Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker will be played in theaters in that month. Will light win or will the darkness take over the galaxy?

Final Fantasy VII Remake pre-order bonus from Square Enix

If you are thinking about pre-ordering the Square Enix game Final Fantasy VII Remake but you are unsure where to purchase your physical copy, I got some news to make your options harder than before. In my past post, I mentioned that GameStop is offering an exclusive tin box contained a replica of a key card for anyone who pre-ordered any edition of the game at GameStop. If GameStop isn’t your interest, maybe you can grab your copy from Square Enix. Gamers who pre-orders their game (standard or deluxe edition) from the official Square Enix website will receive a free lanyard. The lanyard will have the faces of the main cast of FFVII Remake such as Cloud, Aerith, Tifa and Barret. This offer is for North America and Europe. This game is coming out on March 3rd, 2020.

Final Fantasy VII Remake news: Part 2 of the Remake is already in development

We are getting close to 2020 and it feels like like the game Final Fantasy VII Remake is getting close to the release date. Recently, Square Enix released some updated images featuring Aerith and Barret with his adopted daughter Marlene.

Being brought back from the classic game, we have the Chocobo summon with a Moogle riding it. Players can use the Chocobo to stomp on its foes with a stampede.

Besides these updates, Square Enix announced at their blog that the game director Tetsuya Nomura is already working on the next act of the game. Besides him, his team are working on updating the story, animation and graphics.

According to Crunchyroll:

…producer Yoshinori Kitase, story and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima, co-director Naoki Hamaguchi, scenario design co-director Motomu Toriyama, graphics and VFX director Shintaro Takai, battle director Teruki Endo, environment director Takako Miyake, lighting director Iichiro Yamaguchi, character modeling director Masaaki Kazeno, and animation director Yoshiyuki Soma.

If you didn’t know, Final Fantasy VII Remake is not just one game, but it’s a multi-part game with many stories. The first part of this game will focus on the town of Midgar. Even though this game is a remake of the original game, it will also have some new and different story elements incorporating within the original. Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming out on March 3rd, 2020.

VP of Rooster Teeth fired and arrested for threatening his wife and daughter

Who would have thought that the company Rooster Teeth couldn’t get themselves in even more hot water. Besides firing voice actor Vic Migogna for alleged accusations in the beginning of the year, it looks like the company is getting bad news from the vice president himself. According to Kxan, vice president Michael Quinn was removed and fired from Rooster Teeth for second degree felony and assault on his wife and daughter. He’s being sent to court on Nov 26th, two days before Thanksgiving. Revealed though an affidavit. Michael attacked his wife on November 8th and it was noted by her that it was a pattern and it happened many times in the years. According to the interviews with the sheriffs, his wife wasn’t sure to give out statements “because she knows her husband is going to kill her and her daughter.” Reason why she never reported the years of abuse because the husband had total control of the finances and he knew where to find her and the daughter. Based on the violent reports, Michael would berate her and even laugh at her cowering in pain. He would also point a gun and threatened to kill her.

Rooster Teeth is a company that is well known for creating shows like RWBY, Red vs Blue and gen:LOCK.

Dark Horse announces Hardcover Deluxe Editions to Hellsing manga

Ever seen those hardcover manga of the deluxe editions of Berserk, you better clean out your bookshelf because another manga is getting the same treatment. According to Crunchyroll news, Dark Horse comics is planning to re-release Kohta Hirano’s vampire manga, Hellsing. The deluxe edition will be worth $49.99 and it will be formatted in it’s original 7×10 serialized format in English with  664 pages. The manga will be published in July 1st, 2020.

Here is the synopsis:

With supernatural horrors haunting the streets and preying upon humanity, the shadowy Hellsing Organization fights back against hell’s minions. And Hellsing has a secret weapon in their arsenal: the vampire lord Alucard, whose terrifying powers are needed more than ever as an army of the undead marches on London beneath the banner of the swastika!

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 release date announcement

Great news anime and game fans! I bring you exciting news for next year video game related news. Besides One-Punch Man video game coming out in 2020, Bandai Namco gave us another game release date and it’s for One Piece Pirate Warriors 4. One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 will be released on March 27th, 2020 for PS4, XB1, Switch and PC. In a trailer, fans can relieve the epic moments from the series at Big Cake Island and even participate in a original story focusing on the current arc of the Wano Country. Fans who pre-ordered the game will have early access to the rest of Germa 66, Sanji Vinsmoke’s other brothers.

Toonami announces Lupin the 3rd OVA showing

Great news Lupin fans! If you like this smooth talking criminal and you want more action, Toonami and TMS Entertainment has something good for you in December. It’s been announced on Twitter from TMS Entertainment that Toonami is planning to show a Lupin the 3rd OVA titled “Lupin the 3rd: Is Lupin Still Burning?” on December 14th.

According to the news site Toonami Faithful, The OVA will be 27 minutes long and it will be on 3 AM depending on where you live and watch Toonami. Lupin the 3rd creator Monkey Punch served as the chief director of this OVA as a way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the franchise. The title of the OVA is reference to the first episode of the anime in Lupin the 3rd Part 1.

Majuub announced for Xenoverse 2!

I hope you are still playing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 because Bandai Namco is adding another character to the expansive roster. If you watched Dragon Ball GT, you might remember Majuub. It’s been announced by Bandai Namco that the warrior Majuub will be coming this winter as part of the Ultra Pack 2 DLC. Majuub is Uub in which he has fused his powers with Majin Buu in the anime Dragon Ball GT.

Ultra Pack 1 includes Vegeta in Super Saiyan Blue Evolved and Super Saiyan God and the character Ribrianne.

Friday Funny 240: Let it go, Elsa won’t date you!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back for another Friday Funny episode! I hope everyone is staying warm and dry in this cold season. Depending where you live, it has already begun snowing. When there is snow, it means winter is almost in the horizon and this also means the early return of the Christmas season. According to some people, Christmas doesn’t begin until after Thanksgiving where everyone is preparing to shop for gifts on Black Friday or make Christmas plans like vacation or parties. But! Since we are in Thanksgiving weekend yet, we still got time to plan. If you don’t want to watch the reboot movie Charlie Angels, check out this animated movie featuring everyone’s favorite girl. Frozen 2 is out in theaters with the return of fan favorite characters like Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf. These characters will have to save their kingdom from a dark force by traveling to another kingdom and meet the people for help. Can you believe that it has been 6 years since the release of the first Frozen movie? After the success of that movie, we got specials such as Frozen Fever and Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. If seeing a talking snowman doesn’t interest you, I hope you been liking baby Yoda. If you have Disney+, fans are enjoying the Mandalorian and apparently there’s a baby Yoda that everyone is going crazy. Last but not  least, don’t forget that if you are planning to buy anime from Rightstuf, you better be prepared to spend because next week is the Black Friday sale week. Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Holiday Sale is approaching and they will make you want to spend money on anime and manga on sale.
