If you are a Fate/stay night fan, you may have watched anime such as the Fate/Zero prequel series and the Unlimited Blade Works series. However, before all this a studio called DEEN created a Fate/stay night series in 2006. The one that directed the 2006 version was Yuji Yamaguchi and according to Crunchyroll, he passed away. Studio DEEN tweeted the news but according to the site, they removed and they haven’t explained the cause of death.
Yamaguchi is well-known for only doing this 2006 anime but he also helped directed the 2010 film Unlimited Blade Works.

It is sad. I think this news hit really hard to his fans. This guy help started the Fate/stay night anime franchise.
This is really sad π It was my first Fate series that I watched and what got me into the series in the first place
I haven’t fully started this series but I do think this anime was fun watch. I think many people started with this one when starting out Fate/stay night. It is sad to see him passed away.
