Looks like Hollywood can’t get enough of movie adaptations of anime and manga such as Dragon Ball Evolutions, Alita and Netflix Death Note. If you liked the movie Venom, get ready to see a One-Punch Man movie.
The same movie company behind Venom and both modern Jumanji movies are planning to write and produce a live-action movie version of One-Punch Man. This movie will be worked on by Arad Productions and have story writers Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner. These people has worked in movies made from Sony. Sony has hopes for this movie and wants to add another franchise to other future projects.
One-Punch Man is a webcomic created by comic artist ONE and then worked with manga artist Yusuke Murata to create the manga version. An anime was made which got two seasons so far and even a video game. One-Punch Man tells the story of a bald hero named Saitama who can defeat any villain with a single punch. Unfortunately, he is too strong and he can’t find a worth enemy to fight.

This could be potentially be good, given how popular superhero films are at the moment, but history has taught us that live action anime adaptations from Hollywood tend to suck.
Yeah that’s true. It’s a gamble. It’s could be good since it is about superheroes, but it also from a manga and anime and that could be a huge risk. Hollywood has given us some bad ones that is too hard to forget.
Hello Matt,
If you were to choose an actor to play Saitama, who would it be?
I am not sure, I seen people joke around and say the Rock should be Saitama. I actually won’t be surprised if they did do that lol.
