Looks like Marvel is not the only company that is pushing back on movies. As Sony pushes their titles to 2021, DC comics is going to be doing the same. According to the Wrap, Matt Reeve’s movie The Batman will be released in theaters on October 1st, 2021. It was originally going to be released on June 25th, 2021, but due to COVID-19, the production team suspended this movie and will resume as soon as the pandemic settles. Playing as Batman in “The Batman” will be Robert Pattinson.
Not only this movie got pushed back, but other DC movies are facing the same fate. Here is the following movies with new release dates:
- Wonder Woman 1984 – Aug 14th, 2020
- The Suicide Squad – Aug 21st, 2021
- The Batman -Oct 1st, 2021
- Black Adam – Dec 22nd, 2021
- The Flash – June 3rd, 2022
- Shazam 2 – Nov 4th, 2022
- Aquaman 2 – Dec 16th, 2022

Yeah DC is going to be busy the next years. I know Sony-Marvel has already have three movies in 2021. Let’s see DC make a move in 2021.
