If Bleach can come back with a sequel, so can Inuyasha. It looks like the half-demon dog Inuyasha is back according to some recent news. According to a visual image and translation, an Inuyasha sequel is in the works. Sources say that this project is called “Hanyo no Yashahime” and it will focus on the daughters of Inuyasha and his older brother Sesshomaru. It is also revealed that the mangaka and Inuyasha creator Rumiko Takashi was involved with designing the characters and it appears the anime music composer Kaoru Wada will be back to create music for the project.
I am not sure if it’s going to be an anime series, OVA or movie, but I will try to keep you up to date. Just like Bleach, I will try to stay vigilante and give you more updates.

Definitely nice to see this get a sequel. I never saw Inuyasha yet but it’s cool for the fans. I’m always happy when anything gets a sequel
If you ever get the chance, I would recommend it. It’s a good classic series. I was not prepared for this kind of news.

Also, the one sister could seriously be Tsubasa from Rinne’s twin. I mean, Takahashi’s style can be seen clearly in all of them, but they’re nearly identical.
Haha yeah her art style in characters is quite similar.

When this comes out in English dub, do you think that the original English cast members will reprise their roles in this one?? Richard Ian Cox as InuYasha? Kelly Sheridan as Sango? Kirby Morrow as Miroku? And Moneca Stori or Kira Tozer as Kagome?
It would be nice to see the old cast return. I bet they would to please the Inuyasha fans. Still, we might have to wait until the series goes far and Viz decides to do an English Dub.

We can only be hopeful. It all depends on Viz and if the voice cast does want to return to the characters.
You make a good point. I wouldn’t mind Kira Tozer reprising her role as Kagome again. Moneca Stori who originally played Kagome has been officially retired.
She was good as Kagome. I feel like if there was plans to bring the voice actors, they might get Kira Tozer to be Kagome. I do miss Moneca Stori in the classic anime. It depends on what Viz wants to do. I remember hearing Viz updating the voices in the classic Sailor Moon instead of using the DiC voice actors.
I did see the VIZ media version of Sailor Moon. Didn’t like it. I prefer the DIC version much better than this new version. Besides, like InuYasha, I got into Sailor Moon and other anime tv shows and movies when they were on a kids tv channel in Canada called YTV. YTV had the most of anime as Teletoon only had a few.
I seen a bit of episodes of Crystal in Viz. My girlfriend prefers the classic DiC translation than the Viz. That’s cool that Canada had their own channel to watch anime. I think in America we have Toonami, we did have 4Kids but that’s gone and we also had Jet X. Both these showed anime and cartoons, but for a set schedule on TV.
I remember Toonami, as I got into the final season of Samurai Jack. In fact, I really loved Jetix and 4Kids Entertainment when they distributed Digimon, Pokémon, One Piece, and more on anime.
I saw the final season of Samurai Jack too and it was really cool. I used to watch 4Kids for Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. I wish I could rewatch the 4Kids dub of One Piece.
