Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CG reboot movie announced!

I know it’s late and I am sorry I didn’t get the chance to share this with you all. It’s been announced a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be getting a CG movie reboot.

According to Deadline, Nickelodeon and Point Grey Productions will be the one in charge of the upcoming CG adaptation. For the people involved with the movie we Seth Rogan, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver prodcuing the movie Jeff Rowe will direct the movie. Brendon O’Brien will write the screenplay of the movie. Jeff Rowe is well-known in works such as Gravity Falls and Connected, and Brendon O’Brien was involved with Neighbors: Sorority Rising and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.

The last CG movie these turtles was in was in 2007’s film TMNT. So far there is no news on release date.

  1. I hope it’s good. The franchise does seem to be getting rebooted fairly regularly now though. I mean, we only recently had the Nickeloden CG series, a tie-in comic, the IDW mainline comics, then the more recent animated reboot. I do wonder how much new stuff they can do with the title this soon.

    • Yeah this franchise has been busy and we been seeing a lot of different versions. As far as I know, they are busy with the Nick show and the comics. It’s been a while since we had a CG movie of them. I wonder if it will be good and better than the Michael Bay versions.
