Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back for another funny-filled post on Friday Funny! This is Matthew and I am the one and only host of this weekly Friday post! I hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July weekend! Independence Day may be over, but we can still have a fun and heated summer. In case you didn’t know, Rightstuf.com is having a birthday month sale where most anime, manga and novels are on sale half off and more reduced price. See a certain anime you wanted, but don’t want to break the bank, buy yourself an entire series. Want to catch up on your stories in print, all of them and be the envy of your friends or your boyfriend/girlfriend. Today we have the official release of Bandai Namco’s Sword Art Online game, Sword Art Online Alicization: Lycoris for PS4, Xbox One and PC. In this title, players will be able to play as Kirito, Eugeo, Alice, Asuna and more as you take on an original story based on the Alicization arc featuring a new, original character named Medina. Also speaking of Sword Art Online, the anime to the war finale is back and fans won’t have to wait any longer. Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld is coming back and if you are using Crunchyroll, Hulu or Funimation, you don’t want to miss this war. Speaking of Funimation, with permission from Viz, American fans can watch all 220 episodes of the classic Naruto anime in subbed and dubbed. For UK fans, you can watch all of Naruto Shippuden and the first 51 episodes Boruto: Naruto Next Generation in both formats. Last but not least, speaking of anime, the Square Enix video game The World Ends With You is getting an anime adaptation. The game was released for the Nintendo DS in 2007 and in 2018, this game got a Final Mix version for Switch. There is also a mobile game for Androids and IOS which was developed by h.a.n.d. and it was made in 2012. The game got praised for gameplay, music and characters and as a matter of fact, character designer Tetsuya Nomura was involved the game. Nomura was also involved with other titles such as Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy VII Remake. This game is currently on sale on the eShop until 7/19. The anime will be out to be streamed in 2021 with the help of Funimation.
