Live-Action Mulan movie will be on Disney Plus on Sept with a fee!

UK Cinemas Blindsided By Disney 'Mulan' Decision: “It's A F*ck You ...

This year has been rough for movies. Whether you were anticipating the live-action movie Mulan or not, this news will be good or bad. Through different sites, it has been reported that the live-action Mulan movie will be instead on Disney+. Instead of watching the movies in theaters, Disney+ subscribers will be able to watch this movie at home. Unfortunately, according Disney CEO Bob Chapek, Mulan will not be a free movie. Instead, subscribers will have to pay $29.99 in order to watch this movie.

“We are announcing today that, in most Disney+ markets – including the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and a number of countries in Western Europe – we will be offering Disney+ subscribers the epic adventure Mulan on Disney+ on a Premier Access basis beginning September 4.”

“The price point will be $29.99 in the U.S., and will vary slightly in other countries. Simultaneously, we will be releasing the film theatrically in certain markets where we currently have no announced launch plans for Disney+ and where theaters are open.”

It is mentioned that Mulan could appear in select theaters for those who don’t have Disney Plus. It is unknown if people will keep the movie or have rental date. It is also unknown if this is going to be a practice for the upcoming The New Mutants (Aug 28th) or Black Widow (Nov 6th) movies. How do you feel about this news?
