Greetings gamers! I hope you been plugged in the news with Nintendo, because Nintendo has released some exciting news for Mario fans. On Sept 3rd, Nintendo released a Direct video revealing news for Super Mario Bros related news. I am going to highlight some news for you that’s been on the buzz these few days.
Game and Watch Super Mario Bros
Nintendo announced that this year, they’re going to be releasing a Game and Watch system containing some classic Super Mario Bros games. This device will include the classic NES games Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels (Also known as Super Mario Bros 2). It will also have a built-in clock and a updated Game and Watch game of Balls with Mario’s head on it. This Game and Watch system will be released on November 13th.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Based on the Wii U game, Super Mario 3D World will be joining the Nintendo Switch. There will also be an unknown add-on content titled Bowser’s Fury which will be added in the game. This game collection will be released February 12th, 2021.
Super Mario Bros. 35
Super Mario Bros. 35 will be online game where 35 players will compete online and complete the classic Super Mario Bros levels. Players who defeat the enemies in the game will be sent to other players as stage hazards. Whoever is the last Mario or completes the levels will be the winner. This online game will be launched on October 1st. A Nintendo Online Membership is needed for this game.
Super Mario 3D All-Stars
This is the most talked out of the news. Nintendo announced that they will be releasing a collection featuring the top three 3D Mario games for the Switch. This collection is called Super Mario 3D All Stars. This collection will include Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. This game is set to be released on Sept 18th this year for limited time. You can get this game for physical and digital format. Players will be able to purchase this game until the end of March 2021. After March, this game will cease production.
