Whether you are a fan of the Dreamcast game or you recently like the games, Sega fans will be thrilled to hear this news. Announced from this weekend at the Virtual Crunchyroll Expo, Crunchyroll announced that the well-known Sega game Shenmue will be getting anime. The Shenmue anime will be worked together Adult Swim and Crunchyroll and it will have up to 13 episodes. The anime will be by the production team Telecom Animation Film and Shenmue creator and game designer Yu Suzuki will be the executive producer.
The original Shenmue game was made in 1999 for the Sega Dreamcast and the sequel was released in 2001. The games was later ported to PS4 and Xbox One and in 2019, the game got a third release titled Shenmue III.
