As we are reaching the ends of 2020, let’s hope 2021 gives us a new beginning. If you are a Neon Genesis Evangelion fan, this news from Crunchyroll will get you excited. It has been announced that the final movie of the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series will be in theaters soon. In a teaser trailer from the movie Demon Slayer the movie Mugen Train, the movie Evangelion 1.0+3.0: Thrice Upon a Time was announced for a release date. In Japan, the movie is set to be released on January 23, 2021.
There is no news on a global release, but we can expect this movie series come to an end in 2021.

Glad it’s finally out of development and into theaters!
Yes this is good news. Definitely something to look forward for 2021. It would be interesting to see how it all ends in this adaptation.

Yeah I heard the movie End of Evangelion had a pretty controversial ending. I haven’t seen it, but I heard about it. The manga version ended in a different, but similar way.
