Hey everyone, I got some exciting news from Viz Media and Funimation. I hope you guys are enjoying the new anime series Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. It has been reported today from both companies Funimation and Viz Media that this new anime will be receiving an English Dub. Here is the dub cast for the new characters:
- Towa Higurashi: Erica Mendez
- Setsuna: Kira Buckland
- Moroha: Morgan Berry

Probably means the original gang are getting new voices, which isn’t shocking but still disappointing. These ladies are good, but it’s going to be really hard to top how Moroha’s Japanese voice absolutely nails Inuyasha’s speech/inflection.
I have a feeling they will do something like this. I will be on the look out on the news, but I think you might be right. They might replace the original voice actors with new ones. I need to watch the subbed version. I been curious on the voice actors.
That makes two of us. Can you keep me in touch anyway? We cannot give up on Richard Ian Cox, Kelly Sheridan, Kirby Morrow and Kira Tozer anyway. And it’s always a good idea to give someone a second chance to get back into the anime business.
I will try to keep everyone updated. Anytime a classic anime returns, fans always speculate if past VA will return. I know it works for Dragon Ball and I heard the YuYu Hakusho cast is doing the same with the OVA. I grew accustomed to the original actors.
Otherwise it’s… “CURSES!!”.
