I got some sad news to share with you that’s been buzzing around on Twitter. According to GateWorld.net, Canadian voice actor Kirby Morrow recently passed away. He was the age of 47 up until his passing.
So far there is no details on the cause of the death, but I will try to keep everyone up to date what’s going on. His His brother Casey spoke on social media and mentioned how Kirby was a blessing and he worked hard to make everyone happy in his work. To those who don’t know what he was known for, he voiced iconic characters like Miroku in Inuyasha, Cyclops in X-Men Evolution and Goku in the Ocean Dub of Dragon Ball Z (starting episode 160).

He was still comparatively young. Very sad!
Yeah, he was only in his 40s. It’s scary how he died this young.
Sad indeed! 😦
This news was so unexpected.
I was shocked when I heard the news, especially since he was recording within the past few weeks. Wow, so sad.
He died too soon. I remembered being excited to hear the news that he and along with other past voices actors joining the anime Yashahime last week. Now I am feeling sad to see this news.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw the news on Twitter. It’s awful. 😦 And I completely forgot he voiced Cyclops in X-Men Evolution. That was the first Marvel show I really got invested in – and of course no one could ever replace him as Miroku. 😦
I couldn’t believe it either. News like this is so hard to take in. I didn’t know he was in X-Men Evolution. I heard it was a really good Marvel series. Kirby nailed the role as Miroku. Him being in Inuyasha was the first time I ever heard his voice.
I didn’t know him, but it’s very sad to read when someone this young passes away😢
It’s sad that he died too soon. This news was completely out of the blue. 😦
Holy Moses! What do you suppose what happened to him? Heart attack?
I am not sure. Yesterday, there hasn’t been news on what caused it. I am not sure if it was health issues or not, but it just happened. If I find anything new, I will update this news.
Good to know. Anyway, I’m doing a blog post today about him. You can read it if you want to if you have time.
Sure. Feel free to let me know when it’s done. It would be nice to read about him.

Here it is.
Thank you.
😢
My mood exactly.
I’ve mentioned Kirby Morrow on my next blog post if you want to take a look at it. My next top 10 celebrities that passed away too soon.

I’ll take a look at it. Thanks.
I found out on what caused him to pass away so suddenly. Complications of substance abuse. Why drugs????
I think I heard about this recently. It’s awful man. Drugs can really do damage. Highly addicting and easy to misuse.
I know, right? It occurred to River Phoenix, Chris Farley, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Judy Garland, and Heath Ledger too.
Marilyn Monroe too.
Yeah I heard about these people. If not careful, drugs can really take away someone’s life faster than nature taking its course.
I did find out the reason why Judy Garland was forced to take drugs. From that “Judy” movie with Renee Zellweger, Judy Garland was a prodigy child. Until after her performance in “The Wizard of Oz”, as how she was getting famous, her advisors wanted her to remain healthy and fit. So instead of eating junk food, she would eat nothing but take pills and eat healthy stuff. In the final years of her career, she was really having breakdowns.
That’s scary. Hollywood back then wanted actors to look and act in a certain way. I feel bad that she had to take drugs in order to act.
Hey there. I found out more about Kirby’s death. It wasn’t drugs. He had alcohol intoxication.
Alcohol? That’s awful.
Hey there, just received an update. Since Kirby Morrow was meant to continue his role as Miroku in the InuYasha spin-off “Yashahime: Princess Half Demon”, Ian James Corlett will take his place. Creator of “Being Ian” that I didn’t liked on YTV in Canada, but I did liked “Yvon of the Yukon” that he did a bit. He’s also a voice actor if you have heard about this guy. Let me know when you get this please. Thank you.
