Well, it’s been a while since we got anything new related from Fullmetal Alchemist until today! A while back in Japan, Monthly Shonen Gangan made an announcement that there is some announcement for the 20th anniversary to the hit series Fullmetal Alchemist. It’s been announced in a teaser trailer that there is a smartphone game app is in the works based on the series. The game will be worked by Square Enix and while we don’t have gameplay yet, expect some game details later this year. During the announcement, Japan also announced that there is plans of reopening an art exhibit dedicated to Fullmetal Alchemist, digital release of the one-shot and a brand new cafe collaboration for 2022.
While it’s not Fullmetal Alchemist, it’s news from the creator herself. It’s also been revealed manga author Hiromu Arakawa will be working on a brand new manga series. While there is no release date or title, we are given a visual image;

I’m excited! 🙂 Also, is it me or does the main character look a LOT like Riza Hawkeye?
It does look like Riza. Maybe this new story will have a female protagonist. The author does a great job on making strong women 🙂
Looks good, I’ll have to check it out!
Yeah this should be interesting. I am curious about the game app and how is it going to be played.
