Today is the last Friday of July and after this weekend, it’s going to be August. Can you believe we are in the second half of 2021? Before we begin, let’s go over some fast news. Today is the movie release of Disney’s Jungle Cruise. Based on the Disneyland’s attraction ride, Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson will go on an epic jungle adventure. If you have Netflix, the animated series Masters of the Universe: Revelation has been launched for streaming. However, according to fans, this He-Man series is not worth checking out due some character controversy and the showrunner’s creative direction. Speaking of controversy, it has been reported that Activision and Blizzard are in trouble due to sexual harassment in the work office and the male co-workers treating the work place as a frat party. Last but not least, it’s been reported by Variety that Netflix wants to do a live action series of Pokemon. Let’s hope Pokemon is good as Detective Pikachu. Last but not least, in case you missed it, Nickelodeon is creating a fighting game called Nick All Star Brawl. This game will allow players to play as their favorite Nick cartoon character and duke it out online or in the comfort of your home. If you wanted to play as SpongeBob and fight Nigel Thornberry or Lincoln Loud against Powdered Toast Man, this is your chance. Step aside Super Smash Bros and Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL, Nick All Star Brawl is the next big game for the fighting community.
