Friday Funny 345: We Are Thankful for the Memories!

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for an awesome Friday! I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving. Before I give you this hearty post filled with memes, I got some stuff to cover, so hang tight for a moment. Today is the movie release Disney’s Encanto. If you enjoy the Latin culture and the beauty of family and magic, check it out. Next week is the release of the character Spider-Man for Marvel’s Avengers video game. Unlike characters like Black Panther, Hawkeye and Kate Bishop, Spider-Man will not be having any story missions. If Avengers is not your interest, go check out Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. I hear that game has a better, developed story than Avengers and the game should be on sale because of Black Friday. In the anime news, One Piece has reached 1,000 episodes. Can you believe it? Are you still a One Piece fan? While the adventure is still going, there’s plenty of room to make memories and make friends. Also released recently is the Pokemon remake game Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl. If you have a Switch and want to experience this DS remake, go check it out!

Started from 1 and now to 1,000.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’m thankful for you guys and I thank you following me throughout the years. Through the good and bad times, you were here with me. Thank you so much. Have a blessed day!

ICYMI: A new Dragon Ball survival video game announced!

See the source image

I know I am late in the news, but it’s better to bring late news than no news at all. It appears we will be getting a new Dragon Ball video game, but it’s going to be another fighting game like Xenoverse or FighterZ. Announced last week, the new video game is called Dragon Ball: The Breakers and according to the description, the game is a asymmetrical multiplayer online game. The game will feature a 7v1 player mode where one player is the raider hunting down the players while the others must survive and escape. The game is coming out next year in 2022 for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.

While it’s not a fighting game, players can work together and survive against Dragon Ball’s deadly enemies and use items from the show and abilities.

Friday Funny 344: Pokemon’s Shiny Rock Collection

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! I hope everyone is having a good week. I’m going to cut to the chase and get straight to news and then memes. Recently, Sony and Marvel just released the official trailer for the upcoming movie of Spider-Man: No Way Home. This movie is expected to come to theaters on December 17. After everything what happened in Far From Home, Peter is going have to team up with Dr. Strange and bring the worlds back to normal and fight off villains from different Spider-Man universes. In the gaming world, Naruto has jumped right into the battle royale game Fortnite. If you’re are playing Fortnite, you can unlock Naruto and kill the opponents like Marvel, DC and Star Wars. Last but not least, Nintendo has released the remake game of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl on Nintendo Switch. The remakes are called Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl. Grab your Switch and get your game on for this weekend!

This is the Spider-Man trailer we been waiting for a long time:

Have a happy weekend!

October 2021 Funko Pop Haul

Hello everyone and welcome to another Funko Pop haul. Today post is going to be really short, but nonetheless, I am here to give you another haul update and give you the numbers for my collection.

127-28. Darkseid on Throne and Darkseid from Zack Snyder’s Justice League

129. Ashoka from Star Wars

I got these three figures from Hot Topic online. The two versions of Darkseid is based on the director’s cut version of 2017’s Justice League. I have a standard Darkseid with his weapon and prepared for battle and I have another one with him sitting on his throne looking menacingly. Darkseid appeared in Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League which was first streamed this year on March 2021 at HBO Max. This villain may resemble Thanos, but according to comic scholars, this villain doesn’t need a gauntlet to rule a galaxy. While this is the first time we ever get to see Darkseid in live action, it’s unknown if he will be back in the DC movies. It all depends on Warner Bros.

Last but not least we have Ashoka Tano from the Star Wars series. This iconic character made her first appearance in the series Star Wars: The Clone Wars in 2008 at Cartoon Network. This is before Disney bought the rights for Star Wars. Her popularity became well known for fans that she would later return in Disney’s sequel to The Clone Wars called Star Wars Rebels and then getting a live action appearance in second season of The Mandalorian. This pop figure is based on The Mandalorian show and her character is played y Rosario Dawson. Taking place after the events of the original trilogy, Ashoka becomes a vigilante of justice and is no longer a Jedi ever since she left the title in the Clone Wars. She helps Mando understand the mysterious power of The Child and even learns the name of the kid. Despite having succeeding to find a Jedi for Grogu (the Child’s real name), Ashoka refuses to take and train him because she is no longer considered a Jedi.

My October purchases was pretty short for the month. I have a total of 129 Pop Funko figures!

Friday Funny 343: iconic cartoon in an iconic anime moment

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back to another episode of Friday Funny! I hope everyone is enjoying the new time change. Daylight Savings occurred this past Sunday and we gain an hour. The days will be short, but this also means we will get an extra hour sleep. Before we begin, let’s go over some quick news. If you are not entertained enough with the Eternals, be prepared for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Even though the movie is coming out this December, fans are already spreading leaks of images online. Be careful and try to limit yourself on social media. It has been confirmed by director James Gunn that he is already filming the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Speaking of Marvel, Spider-Man will be joining the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers video game in the end of November for PlayStation 4 and 5.

To distract you away from Marvel, here is some anime!

Since Jump Force is going to be ending its online services next year, let’s remember a game before it: J-Stars Victory Vs Plus.

Here is something random:

See ya!

Out of Order: Bandai Namco plans to end online service for Jump Force

See the source image

I got some bad news for anyone who likes online gaming. Just like the game One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, Bandai Namco is planning to end online services on the anime crossover fighting game Jump Force. The game will be ending digital sales on the digital game and any DLC will be begin on February 7, 2022 and all online game services will be on August 25, 2022.

Here is what is going to be omitted once the services ends:

  • Logging in to the multiplayer lobby
  • Online events
  • Clan functions
  • Viewing the Notice Board
  • Viewing the leaderboards
  • Accepting Rewards from the Reward Counter
  • In-game Store
  • Premium Shop
  • Online Ranked Match.

After August here is what will remain in the game:

  • Offline content
  • Online battles (Not Ranked Battles)
  • DLC (if purchased before the cut-off date.)

If you still enjoy Jump Force, enjoy the time right now and play some online matches. Once this takes affect, the game will be limited on online.
