Manga creator “Please tell me! Gaiko-chan” arrested for importing child porn

I have yet to watch the anime or read the manga, but it looks the creator of the manga series Please tell me! Gaiko-chan has been arrested. According to the Kyodo news, the Aichi Prefectural Police arrested Kenya Suzuki. The manga creator went missing and it was reported that he was importing nude content of children from Germany. In the testimony, he commented: “really wanted to obtain nude photos of children from abroad which are not readily available in Japan”. Japanese police confiscated a total of 46 books and publications of child pornography. In ANN, manga creator of Battan reported on Twitter that he disappeared on December 13 and then later found the next day.

Anime News: Rurouni Kenshin will receive a new Anime TV series by Liden Films

If you thought Bleach was the only anime coming back, get ready for another swordsman to make a reappearance. Revealed at the Jump Festa on Sunday, it’s been revealed that the series Rurouni Kenshin will be getting a new anime TV series. The anime is currently is going to be worked by Liden Films. Currently, there is no further details on whom is involved with the project or when will it be released.

Rurouni Kenshin is a series created by manga author Nobuhiro Watsuki. The series has expanded to anime, OVA and even live action films. Him and his wife Kaoru Kurosaki, also a novelist, collaborated and made the manga Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc in 2017. However, in that year, Watsuki was charged and fined for possession of child pornography. The series took a hiatus and on June 2018, the series came back and resumed publication. English company Viz Media also been releasing the Hokkaido Arc at that time, but they stopped because of the controversy and it has yet been confirmed if they will continue to release the chapters.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc

In case you missed it on Saturday, the anime series of Bleach was trending online with some exciting news. Revealed at Jump Festa 2022 Super Stage, the well-known Shonen Jump series Bleach is coming back and the final arc of the series will be animated. According to the sources, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be animated and will return on October 2022.

Directing the anime and writing the series composition will be Tomohisa Taguchi at Studio Pierrot. Character designer Masashi Kudo will be returning to design the characters and Shiro Sagisu will once again be in charge of the music.

If you been playing the mobile app game Bleach Brave Souls game, the voice actors for the characters in the Thousand-Year Blood War will be reprising the role in the anime.
