Friday Funny 355: Microsoft v Sony – We Reached an Impasse

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back everyone for another episode of Friday Funny! I hope everyone is having a great week this week. Today is the first Friday of February. February is the next full month of winter and it has the least amount of days until we get a leap year. Before we begin, let’s go over some quick news. In the video game world, it’s been announced that Sony has bought the gaming company Bungie. They are a gaming company who helped make games for Halo and the Destiny games. With this news, Sony has Bungie and Microsoft has Activision-Blizzard. What will they buy next? What about Nintendo? Should they get involved? In other news, the upcoming comic book game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be pushed back to 2023. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII. Anyone remembered playing the game on the PS1? If you are new like me and have it on my Switch, what do you think of this game? Square Enix is going to be busy with their Final Fantasy VII projects like their game app Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier and their next game Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. In case if you don’t know what’s FFVII Ever Crisis, it’s another smartphone game that compiles all the Final Fantasy VII titles in a free-to-play episodic story. The game will allow you to enter the story from the main Final Fantasy VII game, Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus. There’s no release date yet, but Square is working on the game. Last but not least, Nintendo released the new game Pokemon Legends Arceus. In this new game, explore the ancient history of Sinnoh and encounter the powerful Pokemon. Learn to be friends with Pokemon and find the legendary deity Pokemon Arceus.
