Anime News: Crunchyroll stops ad-free service for future seasonal anime
Things have been very busy for Crunchyroll lately. From Sony buying Crunchyroll to Funimation merging with the site and Sentai titled anime leaving, Crunchyroll is making big changes for the future. With winter being over and we’re making the transition to spring, Crunchyroll is going to make money for this season and possibly the future with this marketing technique. It has been announced that Crunchyroll will no longer provide ad-free streaming for anime in the spring season 2022 lineup along with other continuing anime. Anime fans will have to sign up for premium monthly or annual subscription. Already published anime won’t be affected, but new such as Spring 2022, Fall 2022, etc will have viewers require a paid subscription.
If you want to be in loop and watch all your brand new anime, you better pull out a giftcard or credit card. No more ads for the new titles.

Anime News: Sentai anime will leave Crunchyroll at the end of March
Well, I got some bad news for anyone who enjoys Sentai FIlmworks anime. If you enjoyed anime like Akame ga Kill, Danmachi or Food Wars, you might want to consider getting HIDIVE. Announced yesterday, Crunchyroll will be removing a total of 77 Sentai Filmworks anime at the end of March. Specifically speaking, March 31st. It’s unknown why this is happening. In recent news, Funimation merges with Crunchyroll and all of Funimation titled anime are available to stream at Crunchyroll instead. Entertainment company AMC, well known for broadcasting The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad, has purchased Sentai in January.

Friday Funny 362: I am Moon Knight and where’s my money?!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back everyone for another hilarious day with Friday Funny! I hope everyone is doing okay this week, because we finally made it to the weekend! Before we begin, let’s go over some quick news. Even though this show won’t begin until the 30th, which will be on Wednesday, I decided to do this special theme episode. Focusing on a brand new hero, Moon Knight jumps into the MCU world. This character is an odd fellow considering the main guy has many alter egos in which Moon Knight can become in certain circumstances and with the power of an Egyptian god, the bad guys will have to watch out from this white caped crusader. If you know about Moon Knight, what comic book stories would you recommend for newcomers? Who is Moon Knight? From I hear, he is a terrifying tough vigilantee, but in the internet and thanks to memes, he is a random, chaotic hero. He wants to kick butt and he’s after Dracula since he owes him money. Besides Disney, Marvel will be starting the month of April with Morbius. Not from Disney, Sony will be in charge of this character while also paving the way to other characters such as Kraven the Hunter and Madame Webb. In case you forgot, Winter is officially over and now we are in Spring. I hope you are ready for nature to wake up and brace yourself for pollen allergies. Are you guys ready for the spring season. The show will focus on the Muslim-American teenage girl Kamela Khan and show her heroic origin story as she becomes Ms. Marvel. The show will be on Disney Plus in June. In case you didn’t know, Disney Plus will also be adding the mature Marvel series from Netflix. If you want to watch your shows, but keep kids away from the gritty adult stuff, adjust your settings and make a parental pin. Speaking of new shows, get ready for May as we get the next upcoming show called Obi-Wan Kenobi. Featuring the powerful and one of the remaining Jedi, the show will focus on Obi-Wan after the events of Revenge of the Sith and will show him hiding away from the Empire and protect the young kid Luke Skywalker. Last but not least, Pixar’s Turning Red is on Disney Plus. If you plan to watch it, let me know what’s your opinion. I saw this movie last Sunday and it weas cute.

February 2022 Funko Pop Haul
I took a break from buying Pop figures on January in case you were wondering why January felt different. As we enter 2022, I started to buy Pops again in February. I bought some really cool looking figures in February despite dealing with warm and cold weather. February was a short, but busy month.
133+134. Batman Battle-Damaged (The Batman Hot Topic exclusive) and Hades (Hercules Hot Topic exclusive)
I bought these two from Hot Topic. Around this time, I had to do errands in which I had to get my oil change on my car and get an eyes checked. While waiting, I did some shopping to pass the time. I went to Hot Topic and I came back spending my money on some cool stuff. I bought some T-shirts and Pop figures.
This Batman figure is based on the recent 2022 Matt Reeves movie The Batman which is played by Robert Pattinson. Batman has to solve crimes and get into messy fights when dealing with thugs and the serial killer Riddler. Not DC, but I bought this Disney villain Hades. Hades is one of my favorite Disney villains.
135-136. Boba Fett and Fennec Shand from The Book of Boba Fett
Better late than never. I bought these two Star Wars characters in my late Valentines Date. My girlfriend and I went to Downtown Disney and shopped around the stores and venders. The first place we did shopping was at a Star Wars store at the place. Taking place within the Star Wars story, The Book of Boba Fett tells the story about Boba Fett and how he survived from the movie The Return of the Jedi and what happened to him after the events of The Mandalorian season 2. Boba along with Fennec are trying to do have order in Mos Eisley in the planet Tatooine. I didn’t hesitate to get these two characters.

Controversial news: VA Daman Mills accused of sexual misconduct?
Reported this week by Anime News Network, it appears that English voice actor Daman Mills might be in trouble for getting sexually involved with someone who was in the age of 15-16. The victim under the false name “Duncan” stated that the incident with Mills happened during the years between 2014 and 2015 where he was in high school and Mills was 20 and 21. According to Duncan in the reports, he was just young teen who befriended Mills in 2012. During the time, Mills tried to initiate a romantic relationship with him, but Duncan wanted the friendship instead. The two would talk and text everyday, but Mills would mention that he has been emotionally and sexually attached to him. According to the report, by age 16, Duncan would wake up next to Mills and see him masturbating. According to the state of Ohio, the age of consent is 16. By age 17, Mills has pressured Duncan for oral sex.
After everything he been though, Duncan decided to talk to Anime News Network (ANN) and come forward and encourage people to stand up against sexual abuse. Mills recently sent a cease and desist letter to Duncan for the public letter and he stated that this was all mutual and consented.

Daman Mills is well-known for voicing iconic anime and video game characters. He voiced Frieza in Dragon Ball Super on TV during the time when late voice actor Chris Ayres was having health issues. He also did movies such as the Evangelion movies (1.11, 2.22, etc) as Kaworu Nagisa and he was Weiss in Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade – Episode Intermission.
