Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back for another episode of Friday Funny. It’s me, Matthew, and I am here to give you the daily dose of memes. I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. Can you believe that we are in the last Friday of January? It almost felt like yesterday when we were celebrating New Years. As we go through the last weekend of January, let’s think back this month and be prepared for February. February will be a busy month filled with new movies such as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. We got the Superbowl and Valentine’s Day. So much going on and no time to step on the breaks. February will also be the month where Universal Studios will be opening Super Nintendo World. In recap news, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 will be split into two parts where one will be aired this March and the other in a later time. Marvel’s Avengers will be getting one last update in March and once we get to September, the game won’t be supported by the company. You will no longer be able to buy anything from the marketplace and you can’t call customer service after September. In anime news, Trigun Stampede will be in English Dub and voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch will return as Vash the Stampede.

For this final sin topic, here is envy! Have you ever been jealous about someone or something? Jealousy will wrap your mind and turn you into something scary. Don’t be jealous of others. Be glad of what you have.

I apologize for the late response. I want to thank Merlin from Merlin’s Musing for nominating me the Eximious Blogger Award. The blog award was made by Riddhi at Whispering Stories. I was nominated back in 2022, but here we are in 2023. I need too get in a better habit on responding to these awards otherwise, people are going to stop nominating me. I appreciate the nomination and I am sorry for being late.

What is exceptional about me?

Something exceptional about Merlin

Looking at his briefly and talking to him, I think Merlin is one of a kind. I like how he’ll talk about one in post and then he’ll do his Sunday’s Wisdom in another separate post. Despite me liking anime, I do like to read a good quote. Sometimes we need a piece of advice to help us life. I think that’s what makes him and his blog exceptional.

My favorite written post

It may need to be updated, but my favorite post is Graduation – My School Life and The Future Story time. This is post means a lot to me, because this is where I opened up about my personal life. For a site dedicated to anime and video games, this was one of the rare moments where I wanted to share something about myself. This was around the time I graduated college and I felt proud of myself. I wanted to share my experience and feelings to everyone. This post has a lot of feelings I have been having around the time during graduation.

1. If you could pick one technology (or magic) that is currently fictitious and make it real, what would it be?

Capsule - Dragon Ball Wiki

I would want the capsules from the Dragon Ball series. It would be really convenient to carry or store large quantities of items. Forget finding parking, just park your car randomly and just keep it in a capsule. Fit a large item in a tiny little space!

 

2. In all the stories you’ve read or watched, what is the most exceptional heroic moment you can recall right now? Like, what’s your favorite moment that defines someone as a hero?

One-Punch Man Mumen Rider vs Deep Sea King

For this question, I will pick this moment from the anime One-Punch Man. In one of the episodes, a vicious sea monster called the Deep Sea King invades the surface world and terrorizes the people. The heroes sent to fight him including an S-rank hero was defeated nonetheless. However, when C-rank hero Mumen Rider shows up to fight and protect the people, he survives long enough until protagonist Saitama shows up to give the monster the final blow.

I chose this moment because despite Mumen Rider not being recognized as a strong physical fighter, his heart and actions makes him stand out than the pro heroes. Outmatched against this goliath monster, Mumen Rider was willing to sacrifice himself to save the citizens. What makes you a great hero is not about having victories in combat, it’s about having the right morels and a good heart.

Video Game News: Marvel’s Avengers final update announced! Spider-Man remains PS exclusive in final days!

Whether you enjoyed Marvel’s Avengers or not, I bring you big news that will affect the way you play this game. It’s been announced by Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics that the superhero video game Marvel’s Avengers will be receiving one final update this year and in result, most of the online activities will be shutting down in September. The final update, Update 2.8, will be released for all platforms on March 31, 2023. Once downloaded, there will be no more expansion content such as new characters, cosmetics or any other event. As a matter of fact, after the game receives the final update, all content such as outfits, emotes, takedowns and many more will be free as a way of saying thank you for the support. On September 30, the game will no longer be fully supported by the official creators. After September, players will still be able to play the game solo and multiplayer, but the creators will be not be involved in it. According to the site’s blog, it is quoted by the game’s team for their reason to shutting down the game’s online service: “The decision was made in conjunction with our partners that now was the right time to make this change”. Unfortunately, if you were hoping for Spider-Man to join the Avengers game for Xbox and PC, you will still need a PlayStation. The creators also mentioned on the website that in order to play as Spider-Man, you need a PS4/PS5.

 

Quick main points:

  • March 31: Update 2.8 will be launched and all digital microtransactions will be free. No more having to pay for credits or buy any other digital cosmetics.
  • Sept 30: The game will no longer be fully supported. No customer service or special events. Red Room events will still appear, but for every two weeks.
  • Spider-Man remains to be a PlayStation exclusive.
  • Remaining credits will be used for game’s resources.

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for another episode of Friday Funny. It’s me, Matthew, and I am here to give you a new episode of Friday Funny. Do you want entertainment without paying for it like Disney Plus, Netflix or HBO Max? I got some good news for you… you found it right here. By following my blog, you get some good memes and a bit of nonsense. If you need help forgetting the TV series Velma, let me help you. In recent news, the anime game One Piece Odyssey is already released in all platforms except Switch. Based on what I been hearing on Twitter, this game is really good. If you love One Piece and JRPG games, get it. In recent news this week, we got to see a trailer for the upcoming third season of The Mandalorian. The Mandalorian season 3 will begin airing on Disney Plus on March 1st. As we get close to February, let’s not forget two Marvel movies. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is coming to Disney Plus on February 1st and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is coming to theaters on the 17th. Be prepared for two epic Marvel flicks. Speaking of two, get ready for anime content. Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 is coming this year, but will be divided into two. The first half will be released on March 4th and the other will be later this year. A new Sailor Moon is coming to Japanese theaters in June titled Sailor Moon Cosmos. Part 1 of Cosmos will be in theaters on June 9th and the other will be on the 30th. While this is coming to Japanese theaters, let’s stay tunes for a global release.

Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 split into two

Is the anime finally done? Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 ending ...

As most of you already know, we are in the final acts of Attack on Titan. Part 2 of the final season ended this previous year and it was reported that the next installment will begin this year in 2023. However, this third act is going to be a big one for fans. It’s been announced that Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 will be split into two parts. The first half of the anime will be airing on March 4th and the other half will be later this year. Are you ready for more AoT?

Friday Funny 404: Error – One Piece not found

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for another funny, but exciting episode of Friday Funny. I hope everyone is having a good start on this Friday. I also hope everyone is doing their best to stay warm and dry from this cold winter. As always, before I start this Friday Funny episode, I got some quick news to share as always. I saw the movie Puss in Boots: The Last Wish this past weekend. This movie was certainly amazing and I enjoyed the humor and the storytelling. The animation was fast-paced and amazing. I totally recommend this movie and DreamWorks knocked it out of the parks. Sorry, but not sorry, this movie was better than Disney’s Strange World. Hopefully the next movie I will try to watch is Avatar: The Way of Water. If not, I will be watching this movie at home on my Disney Plus. Speaking of Disney, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be joining Disney Plus on the first day of February. I missed out on seeing this movie in theaters due to my job and also trying to get Thanksgiving prepared. Still on the topic of Marvel, Marvel Studios revealed the trailer for the upcoming movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Ant-Man and the Wasp is back and this time, they’re taking a trip to the Quantom Realm. This new movie will feature new characters, Kang the Conqueror and MODOK. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be in theaters on February 17, 2023. Turning away from the movies real quick, we have the release date of One Piece Odyssey. Rather than being like a Pirate Warriors or Unlimited  game, One Piece Odyssey is a JRPG video game where the player has the chance to play as the Straw Hat crew and enter in a turn based combat system. Luffy and his friends must work together to regain their lost abilities and restore the ship by relieving their memories. From Alabasta, to Water Seven and even the Marineford, Luffy and his friends are going to be entering a fight with their memories. Are you ready for this game?

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for the first Friday of 2023 and Friday Funny. It’s me, Matthew, and I am here to tell it’s Friday! In case you didn’t know, I am the owner of this site and every Friday I post funny memes I find online and I share them in one post. Unless otherwise, I post new episodes every Friday. Where is the limit to my episodes? Who knows, but I do plan to keep doing these episodes until I die. How is everyone doing the first few days of 2023? For me, it’s been busy in my area since we been getting some storms and while I work, I have to deal with panic shoppers and people in their New Years vacation week. For this year, I plan to spare some time and chat with you guys and keep this site alive. What are your guy’s goals for this year?

Anime announcements for 2023!

Bleach

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War release schedule: when (and where) can I watch episode 14? | GamesRadar+

I hope you guys been enjoying the return of Bleach in their newest anime Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. If you been keeping up the series, the anime just finished the first cour and it ended on episode 13. Fret not, the anime won’t go in hiatus and as a matter of fact, the final arc anime will have a total of 52 episodes. After the last episode, which was aired on December 26, it has been announced that Bleach will get a second part in the arc. In a trailer, the video announced that Bleach: Thousand- Year Blood War part 2 will be airing on July 2023. Summer will be hot.

Blue Exorcist

Anyone still a fan of these two brothers? In case you didn’t know, it was announced at Jump Festa 2023, a new Blue Exorcist anime is in the works. According to Crunchyroll, this will be the third anime title. Besides this, we have the first anime series, the Kyoto Saga and a movie. Based on the trailer, this new anime title could be the next season that takes place after the Kyoto arc. There is no release date yet, but be prepared for Blue Exorcist.

Boruto

Even though this is a Boruto anime, Sasuke will be the main character in his own arc. Announced at Jump Festa 23. The anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generation will be adapting Sasuke’s light novel story Sasuke’s Story: The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust. Sasuke’s story arc will begin this month. The series can also be read in the manga too from Shonen Jump.
