Friday Funny 389: Seven Deadly Sins – Greed

Thank God it’s Friday! I have memes and no pumpkin spice. Today it’s going to be the usually funny episode with memes that doesn’t fit into the category. Today is the last Friday of September and this weekend is going to be October. Can you believe we made it to the final months of 2022. As if Halloween wasn’t getting closer, we’re going to be getting some awesome anime content. Chainsaw Man is coming out on October 12. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is coming out on October 11. My Hero Academia season 6 and Spy x Family is this weekend. Seriously! This month on October is going to be like Christmas for anime fans. If you have time to watch She-Hulk and Andor, you can make time to watch these titles. Also, if you have a Switch get ready for these awesome titles. We’re getting Persona 5 Royal and NieR Automata. You can now play these games at school, at a bus or on your bed when you want to be lazy. Forget Halloween, we’re going make October a month of anime and gaming!

Before we begin, it’s time to confess your sins. We all want things and we don’t want to share with others. What have you been greedy for? Have you been keeping money to yourself without sharing or spending it? We all have our moments where we want things for ourselves and we don’t want to give it up. Greed is fuel for power. How much do you want in order to feel satisfied? Confess now, brothers and sisters!

In case you didn’t know, it’s been announced by actor Ryan Reynolds that Wolverine/Logan actor Hugh Jackman will be returning to Marvel in the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie.

Get ready for 9/6/24, bub!

Friday Funny 388: Seven Deadly Sins – Gluttony

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for a new episode of Friday Funny! Today is a special episode, because this is the beginning of the fall season! Goodbye summer, hello fall! It’s time to stock up on the pumpkin spice flavor goodies like coffee latte, donuts and bagels. However, while we are in fall, there are some people who still has to deal with summer leftovers. Hang tight, the heat won’t stay forever. Is fall your favorite season? We’re halfway through the month and in a few weeks it’s going to be October. Get ready for October for the spooky season of Halloween and for beer lovers, it’s October Fest. However, if you’re an anime fan like me, get ready for the upcoming anime shows such as the debut of Chainsaw Man. We have the new seasons of My Hero Academia season six and the third season of Mob Psycho 100. Then we have the final arc, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. What are you hyped for the most? If you have Disney Plus and you love Star Wars, get ready for the brand new series called Andor. If you remembered the movie Rogue One, you might have remembered the rebels who fought hard to get information on the Empire’s deadliest weapon, the Death Star. Andor is the new Star Wars series serving as the prequel to the movie. Watch as a rebellion is born and see whatever it takes for this group to fight back against the forces of the dark side. The first three episodes are available to watch right not.

Before we begin, it’s time to confess your sins. We have all been gluttonous once in our lives. Have you been overeating? Have you spent your time and money on unnecessary food?  Have you eaten at a bad time? Confess and you’ll be forgiven! Come, my brother and sisters. Let us feast upon some memes.

Hunger gets what hunger wants!

Enjoy the weekend!

Friday Funny 387: We all have two sides

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for another grand episode of Friday Funny! I hope everyone is doing well in these last few days of summer. Over where I live, it feels like fall came early. Plus, after Labor Day weekend I just got over a bad cold for a few days. Don’t worry it’s not Covid. I got vaccinated a while back. I hope everyone is doing well and fighting off any colds. How’s the weather over there at your area? Before we begin, Let’s go over some quick news. Anime is going to be taking over the internet this fall. Step aside Dragon Ball Super, because One Piece is going to dominate the cinema world. One Piece Film Red is coming to theaters in November. While Japan got dibs on the movie, we were left in the dust and had to watch people react to the movie. October is going to be a blast if you plan to stream the fall season anime. We’re getting Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia season 6 and Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. I hope you’re ready for your Twitter feed to be filled with anime fans hyping the anime series. We recently got some video game livestream events such as Nintendo Direct, State of Play, and Ubisoft Forward. What games are you looking forward this year and next year?

Let’s kick this weekend right! I have the cure of the common cold!

If you like Nintendo and Sony, check out this video.

See you next Friday. Stay cool! (or warm)

Friday Funny 386: This episode was released in 2007

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back to another episode of Friday Funny! Also, welcome to the second Friday of September. I hope everyone had a good three day weekend. For me, I only had one day off and it wasn’t too bad. With the holidays over, it’s time to shift gears and prepare for the next holiday which is Halloween. It’s going to be the time of spooks and fall. Even though we’re in September, summer is going to be staying for a bit. Don’t put on that sweater yet, unless you want to start sweating. I am going to keep the news short and simple so we can just get started on the memes. I recently took my girlfriend to see Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. It was my second time watching this movie, but her first time seeing it in theaters. As for someone who’s not a hardcore fan like, she had a good time and thought the animation was amazing. While Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is doing an exceptional job in theaters, Japan has One Piece Film: Red. From I been hearing Film Red is blowing away fans and One Piece fans are eating it up like Thanksgiving dinner. It’s only a matter of time before we get this movie and we find out if One Piece will surpass Dragon Ball Super. Speaking of movies, if you have Disney Plus, get ready for the live action movie Pinocchio. Based on the cartoon movie, Pinocchio jumps into live action along with iconic characters such Jiminy Cricket and Geppetto. Also coming in Disney Plus, and also unfortunately we have to wait until Sept 30, we have Hocus Pocus 2. What better way to end the month and enter October with a Halloween movie. Speaking of movies, theaters brought back the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home movie again with 11 extra minutes of additional footage. Did you see it? Do you like much more than you saw the first time?

With all said, let’s roll out!

What I’ve Done.

Autobots, roll out!

Friday Funny 385: Use my promo code to get one rare level 5 star character

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome for a brand new month and a new Friday. This weekend is Labor Day weekend and that means it’s three day weekend for the kids. No school on a Monday is good for the kids, but bad for the adults who has to work in retail; this means more extra days for work. Also coming in this weekend is the unofficial start of autumn. Autumn begins on the 21st of September, but Labor Day is when the weather will start to cool down. In California weather here, this is where summer will go all out in the heat before it leaves. Make use of your summer fun because once fall comes, it’s back to wearing pants and smelling the sweet scent of pumpkin spice. Do you guys have any plans for September? For me, I got two birthdays I need to prepare and then hopefully it’s smooth sailing. I want to do more writing on this site. The month of August has kept me busy in life. I recently went to Disney California Adventures with my girlfriend for her birthday, I been working day and night at my job and I got the chance to see the new Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. If you seen this movie, what did you think of it? With this all Dragon Ball news, expect more to come for Goku and his friends. Dragon Ball joined Fortnite, we got this movie and the manga of Dragon Ball Super is taking a break before going to a new story arc. What did you do in the month of August?

News flash, there is no promo code. Only memes!

Check out this version of Sailor Moon:

Also, I forgot to mention this earlier. Guess who’s back the second time around. It’s Spider-Man! Coming back to theaters, it’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. For limited time, you can watch this movie on the big screen with added footage to the original movie. You can never have too much Spider-Man.

Lately, it’s been busy in my life in the day time and night shifts:

Have an awesome weekend!

Friday Funny 384: Do you like waffles?

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for another sizzling weekend. It’s me Matthew and I am here to give you memes and news, but mostly memes. Before we begin, let go over some fast news. This is the last Friday of August and starting next week is going to be Labor Day weekend. While some people have three days off, other’s have three days of work. Labor Day is usually the unofficial beginning of autumn. Autumn is the time of cooler weather, harvest holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving and pumpkin spice lattes. Besides weather changes, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is the latest anime film in theaters and fans raving this sensational film. According to records and sources, this movie is already breaking records and even outranked the first Pokemon movie. In regards to animation and movies, I have been hearing the major bad news to those who have HBO Max. According to news sources, Warner Bros and Discovery did a merge where these two companies can come together to enhance streaming. However, due to the action, HBO Max has cancelled plans for animated movies and even started to remove shows to appeal for an adult audience. Because of the actions, fans were displeased to the point where they are unsubscribing HBO Max. iTunes stepped up their game and started to release their Cartoon Network shows on their app store where fans can buy cartoons like Ed, Edd’n Eddy and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. Last but not least, we finally got a release date for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog game, Sonic Frontiers. Sonic Frontiers is coming in on November 8th this year. It’s coming out a day before God of War Ragnarok is released. This is going to be an interesting month.

Let’s do it and end this August Friday!

Here is a story trailer for Sonic Frontiers:

Do you like waffles, pancakes and French toast?

Ragnarok is coming and Sonic will be here this November!

Friday Funny 383: Goku and Naruto vs Ichigo and Mickey Mouse vs… She-Hulk?

Thank God it’s Friday! Hi everyone, it’s me Matthew. I hope you guys enjoy this new episode of Friday Funny. By the time you read this, I’ll be inactive online. Reason being is because I am at Disney California Adventure celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. However, I planned ahead and created this episode post to kickstart your weekend. Before we start the memes, let’s go over some Dragon Ball news. Today is the theatrical release of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Taking place after the events of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Gohan and Piccolo must work together and fight the evil military army of the Red Ribbon Army. Can Gohan and Piccolo protect the world without Goku and Vegeta? Speaking of Goku and Vegeta, these two Saiyans joined Fortnite recently. You can play as Goku, Vegeta, Lord Beerus and Bulma. Now you can blast a Kamehameha on Naruto, Venom, Darth Vader and John Cena. Last but not least, and it’s odd news, apparently fans believe that the final Bleach anime arc Thousand-Year Blood War is going to aired on Disney Plus. So far, Disney and Viz hasn’t made any comments or announcements and some believe it’s a fake rumor. If this is true, Mickey Mouse will invite Ichigo and his friends to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. This isn’t the first time Disney got ahold of anime. Anyone remembered Naruto Shippuden on Disney XD? Oh yeah! Before I forget again. Last, but I promise it’s the last time, but definitively not least, the Marvel TV show She-Hulk is streaming on Disney Plus. Watch as Bruce Banner teaches his cousin Jen on how to use her Hulk strength and keep her cool as an attorney. Featuring in this show, we have the Abomination, Wong and Daredevil. Will you be watching this show?

Let’s game on! Where are we landing at boys?

Check out these Disney shows:

Super Hero!

Enjoy your weekend, heroes!

Friday Funny 382: Forget Evil Superman, be afraid of Evil Flash!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for an episode of Friday Funny. I hope everyone is staying cool in the heat and away from trouble. Here’s another Friday for memes and news. In big and not really new news, Ezra Miller is charged for felony. At this point, I feel like he can be Reverse Flash instead of Barry Allen Flash. In other news, it’s been revealed that Sony will be absorbing another big company on their plate. Not only they bought Funimation and merged with Crunchyroll, they recently got the rights to the shopping site Right Stuf. Whether you like it or not, Sony will be having full control on the anime content and where your money is going. Besides anime, Disney and Marvel will be dishing out new content this month of August. We have the short series called I Am Groot. Focusing on the wooden baby hero, Groot, Disney released a collection of short episodes featuring Groot and his adventures. On August 17, get ready for She-Hulk. Watch as Bruce’s cousin take on the justice system and show off her Hulk-ish strength. If that doesn’t get your attention, maybe you will watch it for Daredevil. If you have Disney Plus, you can watch the movie Lightyear. Going off topic and into my life, I saw the movie DC League of Super-Pets with my girlfriend. It was funny and cute movie and I recommend it if you love your dog very much. One more thing, it’s been announced that the next Sonic movie has a release date. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is coming to theaters in December 2024!

Let’s do this!

As a way to celebrate the release date announcement for the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, here is some theme songs from the movies.

Gotta go fast!

I can’t wait to see the Justice League fight against the Injustice League.

Bye! God bless you all!

Friday Funny 381: Poor Unfortunate Souls

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back for another episode of Friday Funny! We made it through July and here we are in in the month of August. It’s me Matt and I am to give you both memes and news. A lot has happened in July. What was your favorite moment in July? Now that we’re in August, get ready for some new events coming up. In anime news, get ready for the upcoming movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. If you live in the United States, you can watch this movie starting at August 19th. In other anime/manga news, looks like Square Enix got into trouble in the manga business. Recently, Square Enix released their digital manga on an app service called Manga Up! in which subscribers can pay to read their favorite chapters such as Soul Eater and My Dress-Up Darling. However, after launch, fans got frustrated when Square Enix started to add uncensored black bars on the chapters. Even in scenes where the women are fully clothed, black bar censors are still apparent. Hopefully, they get this patched up otherwise, ditch the service. Last but not least, I bring some sad news. Recently, we lost an actress named Pat Carroll this week. Pat Carrol is iconic for her voice acting as Ursula in the Little Mermaid movie as well as the sequel villain Morgana. Even though we’re getting DC’s Black Adam and Shazam 2 movies, the anticipated Batgirl movie has unfortunately been shelved. Don’t expect to see Batgirl on the big screen or in HBO Max anytime soon. In my own news, I finally got the chance to read all the volumes of the classic Dragon Ball manga. It was both a silly and action pack series. From the first appearance with Goku and Bulma to the Red Ribbon Army and to the epic finale with Goku vs Piccolo, the classic Dragon Ball series is a ton of fun. I also got to see the movie Your Name. with my girlfriend. It was a great and cute movie.

Let’s start this Friday!

Rest in peace, Pat Carroll

See you next time!

Friday Funny 380: Superhero 22

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for an awesome and hot day today. It’s me, Matthew from Matt-in-the-Hat and I am going to be sharing memes today. Before we begin, let’s go over some San Diego Comic Con news. Marvel been dishing out some major news so you better write these down either on your calendar or renew your Disney Plus account. As of now from Phase 4 to 6, the MCU movies and TV shows from Black Widow to movies in 2025 is known as the Multiverse Saga. If you been watching the movies after Endgame and watch the TV shows, you’ll understand. For this year, get ready for the upcoming TV show, She-Hulk which will air in August 17 this year (same day as my girlfriend). The last MCU movie for this year is going to be Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which will be in theaters in November of this year. Marvel did reveal details on TV shows such as Spider-Man: Freshman Year. Taking place in Spider-Man’s younger years in high school, Peter learns how to be a hero by teaming up with billionaire scientist Norman Osborn. The series will begin in 2024. X-Men ’97 also been announced too and we get to see a new Magneto who will be in charge of leading the X-Men. Marvel Zombies has been revealed too and according to sources, this new show is going to be really dark and gruesome for the young audience. Speaking of X-Men, Marvel announced that you can now watch all episodes of X-Men The Animated Series in chronological order. If you want to watch the series in order by story, you can do it now. I wish Disney did this with Star Wars The Clone Wars.

DC also revealed some movie trailers as well. Besides the upcoming animated movie DC League of Superpets, get ready for some Black Adam and Shazam. Black Adam will be in theaters on October 21, 2022 and the new Shazam sequel, “Shazam!: Fury of the Gods”, is coming to theaters on December 21 this year. DC is dishing out two movies in the last half of 2022 and Marvel is releasing one.

Let’s go heroes (and anti-heroes)!

Are you ready for fall and winter comic book movies?

Before I say goodbye, check out John Wick 4 which is coming on March 24, 2023!

Enjoy the weekend!
