Hello gamers! I got some great news for anyone is on the hype train of Kingdom Hearts III. Remember a while back I said Kingdom Hearts III is going to be getting a new theme song done by Hikaru Utada and Skrillex? Well, good news, we finally got to see the opening song. Square Enix just unvieled the new song called Face My Fears which was a collaboration song made by Kingdom Hearts singer Hikaru Utada and Dubstep composer Skrillex. The opening movie shows a quick recap of Sora’s adventure from Kingdom Hearts I and even the unfortunate events in Birth by Sleep to right now in Kingdom Hearts III. Once again, the song is a collaboration of both well-known singers and it’s going to be used as the opening movie song and the ending song is going to be Don’t Think Twice and that song is performed only by Hikaru Utada. Kingdom Hearts III is set to be released on January 29th, 2019 for PS4 and X1.

Video Game Awards news! New games for 2019!

In case you missed it, here is what happened in a few days ago.

There was a video game awards show called The Game Award which gave awards to games of 2018! Besides seeing what was the best of the games, we’re getting some new video games of 2019! I can’t list them all but I will mention some that stood out the most. If you enjoyed Crash N-Sane Trilogy from 2017, get reader for another remastered game. Coming from the same team that remastered all three games, get ready for Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled for Switch, PS4 and X1. This game is more than a remaster of Naughty Dog’s last Crash title in the PS1-era, but according to GameSpot, this game will also be built from the ground up. If you enjoyed this racing game from the PS1 or as a PS3 digital game, get ready to play this game with a remaster look for your consoles.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is coming in June 21, 2019

Coming back from the same people who made Injustice, NetherRealm Studios is back for another Mortal Kombat game. This new game is called Mortal Kombat 11 and based on the trailer, get ready to play as modern and classic (or should I say klassic) versions of your favorite characters like Scorpion and Raiden. The game is expected to be released globally on April 23rd, 2019, but more details of the game will be held at a community reveal event this upcoming January. According to the video, pre-ordering the game will include players access to a beta game of MK11 and you can instantly play as Shao Khan.

Whether it is good or bad news, but Marvel will be making a video game exclusively for Nintendo Switch owners. This game is called Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. This is the third installment from the Ulimate Alliance series, and this game will allow players to create a team made members of the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and even X-Men. The enemies of the game will be primary be Thanos and his children, but players will also have the opportunity to fight Ultron and even Kingpin.

This game is set for 2019.

Even though it’s a DLC, it’s worth mentioning. It’s been revealed on who is joining Super Smash Bros: Ultimate as DLC. The protagonist Joker from Persona 5 is revealed to be the character joining Smash and he is the first of the five characters from the DLC.  You can unlock this character by buying him as a DLC or just getting him in the Fighter’s Pass which includes 5 DLC characters.

Martial Arts Hero Shang-Chi joins the MCU?!

If you guys thought that Black Panther was a revolutionary movie with a diverse cast of African Americans, get ready for another character to influence the Asian-American community for this kung-fu hero. It’s been reported that the martial arts fighter Shang-Chi will most likely get his own movie within the MCU. This movie project will take place after the movie Avengers 4 is finished. If you think Amadeus Cho Hulk or Cindy Moon Silk is a great Asian Marvel hero, you have not met Shang-Chi. If you’re wondering, who is this character and why is he great, IGN has you covered. I am not going to cover everything they described, but I will point out the highlights.

He’s pretty much Ryu from Street Fighter!

IGN described Shang-Chi has a warrior devoted to fighting and training. Shang-Chi travels all over the world in hopes to mastering his techniques.

No super soldier serum needed, just martial arts!

Ign pointed out that Shang-Chi is a hero that doesn’t even have super powers. It’s mentioned that he doesn’t need any support for combat such as Daredvil’s heightened sense or Captain America’s super soldier serum. Instead, Shang-Chi just trains himself to be a strong human and his abilities allows him to even deflect and dodge bullets. He is the master of hand to hand combat without powers… or it seems.

Shadow Clone jutsu?

I guess Marvel wanted to give Shang-Chi powers. IGN later mentioned that Marvel eventually gave him the ability to spawn clones and the clones can imitate his fight style.

70s was all about fighting

Shang-Chi made his debut in 1973’s Special Marvel Edition #15. The 70’s was the peak time for superheroes in comic books. Also, around this time, the 1970’s was the time where kung-fu was popular in comic books and movies. Unfortunately, it didn’t last as the 80’s came by and the plans of a TV series based on Shang-Chi  never saw the light of day.

Friend in Need

Shang-Chi has teamed up with many Marvel heroes in the past. Shang-Chi has helped Spider-Man in fighting after he lost the Spider Sense ability. He has also teamed up with Daredevil and the Avengers. He has also helped with his martial fighter friends such as Iron Fist in Heroes for Hire and Collen Wing in Daughters of the Dragon.

Modern: Where is he?

Currently, Shang-Chi is in the free mobile game Marvel Future Fight. Despite his hand to hand combat skills, he never made it in any video game besides app game. Now with the news from Marvel, movie writer Dave Callaham will be in charge of the screenplay who is also working on the movie Wonder Woman 1984.

What do you think about this character? What’s your opinion on a movie focused on him?

To Love-Ru anime finally gets an English Dub!

If you are an English Dub fan and you like anime like High School DxD and Monster Musume, get ready for this title because it’s coming back in English! It’s been confirmed by Sentai Filmworks that the fan service anime To Love-Ru is getting an English Dub according to ANN. Here is what the plot is described according to Sentai Filmworks:

One should always understand other people’s customs before making commitments. Unfortunately, Rito Yuki had no idea the planet Develuke even existed when their Princess Lala teleported naked into his bathtub, let alone that touching a girl’s breasts is how they propose marriage!

Given that he was in the tub when she appeared, and slippery soap suds being what they are, Rito’s now engaged to a beautiful girl with a pointed tail. Worse, various aliens are showing up on missions of varying hostile intent, the girl that Rito really loves is still completely unaware of his feelings, and all of the new customs he’s got to learn seem to involve touching a girl’s chest! (Okay, maybe he’ll get used to that last one, but he’s still in high school and a bit intimidated.) Can a nice boy from Japan become the next King of Galaxy A or will he just end up feeling like a boob?

This series is based on Weekly Shonen Jump manga created by two people; the artist is Kentaro Yabuki and the writer is Saki Hasemi. Kentaro Yabuki is an artist is well known for doing another Shonen Jump title Black Cat and he was mentored by Takeshi Obata who is known for doing manga like Death Note and Bakuman. Saki Hasemi is an anime screen writer who helped Yabuki in doing the manga and he is involved with the anime. You can buy the manga as well, but it is all owned by Seven Seas Entertainment. New Leader for FFXV studio “Studio Luminous Productions”

Remember the old news that Hajime Tabata left the studio “Studio Luminous Productions”? Just in case you didn’t, hear is the news: It was announced in November that game director Hajime Tabata left Final Fantasy XV and his team and this led a chain reaction where Square Enix decided to cancel out many of the game’s anticpating contents. These contents was going to be more DLC episodes for Final Fantasy XV. These DLC were Episode Ardyn, Lunafreya, Aranea and Noctis. However, since Square Enix decided to cut some of the DLC, the only one remaining was Episode Ardyn which will be released in March 2019.

Recently announced today from Dual Shockers, there might be hope. A new person joins the game’s team Studio Luminous Productions and becomes the head of the team; his name is Takeshi Aramaki and he is FFXV lead programmer and he will be in charge of the studio.

On the official website of Studio Luminous Production, here is what Takeshi Aramaki said in regards to the position:

I’m Takeshi Aramaki, VP of Development at LUMINOUS PRODUCTIONS. I had the honor of being the lead programmer for FINAL FANTASY XV. In developing FFXV, we meticulously pursued the potential of games, from the open world system to the application of emotion-filled AI. This philosophy is ingrained in our staff and LUMINOUS ENGINE, our proprietary creative toolset, and continues to grow each day. We are currently making steady progress on a brand new title. We cannot wait to show you, and we hope that you look forward to its reveal.

Takeshi Aramaki

Still, I don’t want to give people high hopes of bringing back these cut DLC, but I am just here to say it might be a possibility that there will be more fun coming for FFXV.

ICYMI: Gogeta is confirmed in Dragon Ball Super movie

Guess who finally becomes canon in the world of Dragon Ball. The fusion character Gogeta finally becomes canon! Revealed in a trailer this week, another Dragon Ball Super: Broly trailer was released in the internet displaying the debut of the character Gogeta. In this new version of Gogeta, Gogeta appears as base form with black hair with a different color pallet for his clothes. Also just like Vegeto, Gogeta is able to transform into Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, a.k.a Super Saiyan Blue.

If you don’t know who is Gogeta is, Gogeta is a fusion character fused by Goku and Vegeta. In order to become Gogeta, Goku and Vegeta must perform the fusion dance, it’s similar to how Goten and Trunks does the ritual in order to become Gotenks. Gogeta actually made many appearances before Super in media such as the video games, and even in noncanon anime. In noncanon anime, he appeared in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn and in the anime Dragon Ball GT, he was able to become Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta.

What’s your opinion towards this version?

Breaking News on Netflix: Daredevil series is canceled after season 3!

The hero defending Hell’s Kitchen is unfortunately retiring!

I found this piece of news on IGN stating after three seasons, the Netflix series on the Marvel hero Daredevil will no longer be making more episodes. Here is the official statement from Netflix:

Marvel’s Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix. We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note. We’re thankful to showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years. While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.

This is not the only Marvel series that got canceled on Netflix. Netflix series Iron Fist and Luke Cage were both recently canceled after two seasons. The only remaining shows that is still in progress is Jessica Jones and the Punisher. The Punisher is going to have a second season in 2019 and Jessica Jones is in progress of another season. It’s unknown what’s going to happen with these three canceled heroes and we don’t know why the sudden cancellation.
