If you are excited for Christmas, I hope you are excited after that. It’s not Mandalorian, but it is another Star Wars series you might want to check out. Revealed at the send of season 2 of The Mandalorian, a Boba Fett series was announced. Recently, it’s been revealed that the spinoff series titled The Book of Boba Fett will begin streaming at Disney Plus starting on December 29th. It is going to be a series focusing on the character Boba Fett (played by Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (played by Ming-Na Wen)
If it worked for the Detective Pikachu movie, it could work for a series. It has been announced recently that Netflix is in the early process of developing a live action series of Pokemon. So far, Lucifer co-showrunner Joe Henderson will be in charge of this Pokemon series. It’s unknown if this series will be original or based on the anime series.
Announced today and surprisingly getting a lot of attention, Nickelodeon is back again with a brand new game that will play similar to Super Smash Bros. Created by the same people who worked on the games Nickelodeon Kart Racers, get ready for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. This game will be available for PS4/5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and Switch in the fall of this year. Twitter user @Nibellion reported that according to IGN, the game will include 20 levels based on the cartoons, will have single and multiplayer (local and online) and it is also reported that the game will have a netcode. Evidently, a netcode would mean that this game will most likely will be on PC.

Announced last night in Japan during the “Kimetsu TV, New Information Announcement Special” , we got some exciting news for Demon Slayer fans. A brand new visual image reveals of the upcoming season 2 of Demon Slayer. The new story arc will focus on the Entertainment District Arc. The anime will have the returning cast along with director Akira Matsushima. So far, there is no news on what is the season 2 release date, but it is expected to be released sometime this year.
Well, it’s been a while since we got anything new related from Fullmetal Alchemist until today! A while back in Japan, Monthly Shonen Gangan made an announcement that there is some announcement for the 20th anniversary to the hit series Fullmetal Alchemist. It’s been announced in a teaser trailer that there is a smartphone game app is in the works based on the series. The game will be worked by Square Enix and while we don’t have gameplay yet, expect some game details later this year. During the announcement, Japan also announced that there is plans of reopening an art exhibit dedicated to Fullmetal Alchemist, digital release of the one-shot and a brand new cafe collaboration for 2022.
While it’s not Fullmetal Alchemist, it’s news from the creator herself. It’s also been revealed manga author Hiromu Arakawa will be working on a brand new manga series. While there is no release date or title, we are given a visual image;

Announced this 4th of July weekend, Sword Art Online is going to be bringing us some new content. One is good while the other might be bad for others.
During Aniplex Online Festival 2021, a key image visual reveals a brand new image of the upcoming anime movie Sword Art Online the Movie – Progressive – Aria of a Starless Night. The image shows the three main characters in the movie which has Kirito, Asuna and the brand new character named Mito both their avatar and real-life versions. For now, it’s been revealed the anime is set to be released in Japanese theaters on October 30th. No news yet for global release.
If you been playing this game on your phone, this could be bad news. It’s been announced from a Bandai Namco in an official statement that the app game Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag will be ending the service. Japan released this game on August 2016, while the West got the game on January 2017. Based on the article, the Japanese version of the game will be ending the service; it doesn’t say anything for the west. On July 30th, gamers will no longer be able to purchase in-game content and August 30th, Bandai Namco will shut the game’s service.

I found this news recently during this weekend and it has come to my attention that I have to address it. It’s been reported online that voice actress Philece Sampler has passed away last week. She was the age of 67 and cause of death was heart attack. Her death dated on July 1st. Philace is well-known for voicing anime and western animation shows. Philece voiced Mimi Tachikawa in Digimon, Beauty in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobobo, Silvia from the anime Viewtiful Joe and Betty Ross from the animated series The Incredible Hulk (1996).

If you are an Evangelion fan, you may have been waiting for a long time for the grand finale of the Evangelion movies. Looks like fans all over the world will be able to see this movie thanks to Amazon. It was reported by the anime studio Khara that the final movie Evangelion Evangelion 3.0+1.01: Thrice Upon a Time will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video internationally. The movie will be launched on August 13th along with the previous movies on Amazon Prime Video. The movie will be streamed over 240 countries excluding its own country Japan. The movie will be in English and Japanese along with 9 other languages and have a total of 28 subtitle languages.

Greetings game lovers, anybody a fan of Mortal Kombat? Last year, Warner Bros Animation released an animated movie called Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge. In that movie, the story focuses on the main characters Liu Kang, Sonya and Johnny Cage as these three enter the deadly tournament of Mortal Kombat to save Earthrealm. Meanwhile in a different story, after getting killed by the Lin Kuel Clan, Hanzo Hasashi returns from the dead as Scorpion and seeks vengeance against the man that killed his family and clan.
Recently, it’s been announced a sequel to the movie has been revealed. The new movie is called Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms. Pre-orders are ready for purchase. The digital version of the movie is expected to be released in July 8th of this year and the home video is expected to come out on August.
I might be late to talk about this news, but it’s better I give you some news instead of having no news. If you been obsessed with the anime Demon Slayer, this will make you want to pick a console. Announced a while back, a Demon Slayer video game was in the works and being developed by CyberConnect2 games (same company who worked on the Naruto Ultimate Ninja series) and published by Sega. It’s been announced that the game has a title, release date and platforms. The game will be called Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles.
Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles will available on October 15th for PS4/PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. The game will also include English Dub from the anime voice actors along with subtitles in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. The game is ready for pre-order.
