With the upcoming Marvel show WandaVision approaching in 2021, we have yet to hear news on the other announced shows such Loki and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, we did get some details on the upcoming announced Marvel shows. The announced Marvel shows are Moon Knight, She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel; unfortunately, no news yet on Ms. Marvel.
According to Screenrant.com, Phase 4 of the TV shows Moon Knight and She-Hulk will begin filming in March 2021. Its’s unknown when will these shows be ready to stream, but Screenrant predicts that they may be released in later 2021 or early 2022.
In case you didn’t know, Tatiana Maslany (actress in Orphan Black) will be the star of She-Hulk, Jennifer Walters who is also the cousin of Bruce Banner, the Hulk. It is also been reported Oscar Isaac will be the Moon Knight. Oscar is well-known for playing as Poe in Disney’s Sequel Trilogy of Star Wars and he was Apocalypses in Marvel’s 2016 X-Men: Apocalypse film. These TV shows will be on Disney+ (Disney Plus).
If you liked the 1995 film Mortal Kombat, you are in full surprise with this news from NetherRealm Studios. Revealed in a trailer, Mortal Kombat 11 will be releasing the Klassic MK Skin pack from the retro Mortal Kombat movie. This pack includes skins for Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage and Raiden from the 1995 counterpart. This pack not only includes the skin, but also the voices to the characters. The voices are from the actual actors who played these characters. They are available now and ready to be purchased.
I might have to pick up a copy of Jump Force because this certain, lovely character will be joining the Shonen Jump fighting game. It has been revealed by Bandai Namco in Twitter that the Goddess of the Flash Step will be joining Jump Force. Bleach character Yoruichi Shihōn will be the next DLC character in the Fighters Pass 2 pack. There is no trailer or release date yet, but fans can expect her to come in the digital market in early 2021. Jump Force is available for PS4, XB1, PC and Switch.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the upcoming DC comics movie Wonder Woman 1984 is still planned to be released in theaters of Christmas 2020, December 25, 2020. If you are still afraid to go out to the theaters or you want to kickstart your Christmas season, home is the place. It’s been announced that the streaming service HBO Max will stream the sequel movie. There is no price on this movie and it will be free!
Sonic the Hedgehog
Looks like Sonic the Hedgehog is going to be busy in 2021. According to the news site Tails Channel, documents from Paramount Pictures reports details on the upcoming sequel film Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Currently the movie’s codename is called “Emerald Hills”, and the movie is expected to start filming from March 2021 to May 2021 in a tentative schedule. The second Sonic movie is expected to be released in theaters in April 2022.
I got some sad news to share with you that’s been buzzing around on Twitter. According to GateWorld.net, Canadian voice actor Kirby Morrow recently passed away. He was the age of 47 up until his passing.
So far there is no details on the cause of the death, but I will try to keep everyone up to date what’s going on. His His brother Casey spoke on social media and mentioned how Kirby was a blessing and he worked hard to make everyone happy in his work. To those who don’t know what he was known for, he voiced iconic characters like Miroku in Inuyasha, Cyclops in X-Men Evolution and Goku in the Ocean Dub of Dragon Ball Z (starting episode 160).
Looks like Toonami is going to be adding a new anime on their Saturday night block. In a livestream in Adult Swim Festival, Toonami is planning to add some anime for Saturday nights. The planned anime horror Uzumaki will be in Toonami sometime later in 2021. For now, get ready to start the year of 2021 with an anime made by TRIGGER and Tsuburaya Productions.
In January 2021, the anime SSSS:Gridman will be on Toonami for the public along with other anime on the block.

Want to hear the buzz that happening online? According to Crunchyroll, it looks like the manga Boruto: Naruto Next Generation will be under new management. Revealed in a tweet, Naruto/Boruto creator Masashi Kishimoto will return and write the story for the manga running series Boruto: Naruto Next Generation.
Starting with Chapter 52 of Boruto, which is set to be published in the December issue of V Jump (on sale November 21), the production team will change as planned from the start.
We would like to thank Kodachi-sensei for all his hard work on writing the story thus far.
From now on, we will continue to produce the series based on drafts written by Masashi Kishimoto-sensei.”
Originally, the Boruto manga was led by Ukyo Kodachi. On Nov 21 of chapter 52 of the Boruto manga, Kishimoto will be in charge.

2020 will be the year where there is no new MCU films. If you have Disney Plus, I hope you are willing to renew your subscription, because 2021 is going to be giving us new content that could rival Star Wars’ The Mandalorian. It was announced months ago that the upcoming Marvel TV series WandaVision was going to be available in Disney’s exclusive streaming service Disney Plus (or Disney+) in 2020. Unfortunately, Disney and Marvel agreed to delay the new series to 2021.
According to Marvel, WandaVision is expected to air on Disney Plus in January 15th, 2021. The show will focus on the superhero couple Wanda Maximoff and Vision who is trying to live in a suburban neighborhood.

With Sword Art Online Alicization completed, fans are looking forward to the anime adaptation to the upcoming Sword Art Online Progressive. However, according to Crunchyroll, the anime is happening, but in a different format.
According to Crunchyroll, it’s been revealed through the Japanese Twitter that the anime will instead be shown as an anime film. A trailer and visual image has been revealed and it shows that the film is called Sword Art Online Progressive the Movie: Aria of a Starless Night (also called Sword Art Online Progressive THE MOVIE: Hoshinaki Yoru no Aria). The movie will be released in 2021.
Progressive is a retelling of the first arc of Sword Art Online and the title of the movie is based on the first chapter of the novel made by creator Reki Kawahara. The film will be directed by Ayako Kawano, who worked on Love Live! Sunshine!!. A-1 Pictures will be returning to animate Progressive.
Synopsis based on the first volume of the novel:
