Dr. Mario game jumps into phones!

Do you like the game Dr. Mario? How would you feel if you can play the game in the palm of your hand besides the Nintendo Switch? From the sources of Crunchyroll, Nintendo announced that there will be a Dr. Mario game called Dr. Mario World. This game will be heading in the app stores of Android’s Google Play and Apple’s App Store. Players can pre-register now and download the game when it comes out on July 10th. The game will allow players to destroy viruses with different characters like Dr. Mario and Dr. Peach and players will be able to access modes like versus mode. It’s a free game, but with microtransactions.

Dragon Ball news: 2018 teaser film and new app game!

It’s already been announced by FUNimation and Toei Animation, a Dragon Ball Super movie is set to be released in theaters in December 14th, 2018. Today on Twitter, Toei Animation released a teaser trailer of the upcoming Dragon Ball Super movie. The movie animation is different than the anime and it appears to have Goku against a mysterious Saiyan warrior. In my opinion, this looks like his father Bardock, but it’s unknown if it is true. The movie will be directed by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama and the story will involve about the Saiyan’s true power and Frieza is expected to come back. Here’s the teaser:

Recently Announced by Bandai Namco of Entertainment, a new Dragon Ball mobile game is set to be released this upcoming summer. According to Twitter, this game will be played with simple controls such as playing with only one hand and an original character made by Akira Toriyama will be in it. The game will allow players from all over the world to fight each other online whether you are in America, Japan, Europe or other country. This new game is called Dragon Ball Legends and it will be available to play for Android and Apple users.

Mobile Game News: Final Fantasy XV mobile game announced!

Joining the news with a PC version, Square Enix announced that they will also make a mobile adaptation to Final Fantasy XV. Don’t worry, it is not Final Fantasy XV A New Empire (what some people call Game of War with a Final Fantasy XV skin)!

The new game is called Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition. The game will retell the same story of Final Fantasy XV but with the characters in “Chibi Style”. The game will consist of 10 episodes with the first episode being free while the other nine is by purchase.

Square Enix is hoping that game will make Final Fantasy XV more fun as players can play “whenever and wherever they want” in their hands. The game app will be in Androids and iOS. It is not specified when will the game come out but it should be around Fall 2017!

If you want to play Final Fantasy XV but you don’t own a console and just want to play on your phone, go check it out.

Gaming News: Sega releases free games on Apps

Like Sega games? Do you like free games? Stuck on your phone all the time? I got news for you!

Sega recently announced and started “SEGA Forever”. Based on this news, SEGA will be releasing game ports of Sega video games for free on Android and Apple phones. Games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beasts, Phantasy Star II and much more now free. Here is the catch though, the games will have ads in it but if you pay for the ads, you can get rid of them and it costs $1.99. The games can also be played with a controller via Bluetooth.

Monster Strike news: English version ends in August

Announced on the official site, the app game Monster Strike will be shutting down for the English version in North America. According to the news, the XFLAG staff informs us that the reason why the game is shutting down in North America because the game was not able to reach the “satisfactory level”; the game failed to reach expectations for gamers and fans. However, the staff will be ending the game service with a “bang” with the following dates:

May 2017 – New Transcensions, a new Colossal Quest, and the Tower of Champions will be released
June 2017 – New event series will be rapidly released along with daily and new Impossible Quests
July 2017 – Plentiful login rewards, new event series, daily and new Impossible Quests will be released
July 2nd, 2017 – In-game purchases, new installs, and data recovery will be disabled
August 1st, 2017 – Servers will shutdown

The game will be removed from app stores on July 2nd and it will still be playable until August.

 

Nintendo News: Wii U’s last game and Android games!

Nintendo got some some major news for 2017!

Announced today, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed that the upcoming video game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind will be the last Wii U game for the Nintendo Wii U. However, Fils-Aime also mentioned that they will continue to do online service for games like Mario Kart and Splatoon. The Wii U’s life span will still continue.

Already released for iOS phones, Nintendo will be releasing the Super Mario game app Super Mario Run for Android devices. Players can pre-register at the Google Play site now. The game will be released for Android on March.

I couldn’t find other news, but Nintendo will also be releasing the game Fire Emblem Heroes for Android and iOS as well. In this game, you, as a summoner, will use characters from the Fire Emblem world and fight your way against the enemy.

The game will be available on February 2nd.

Mobile Gaming news: One Piece app game comes to the West!

Just like anime app games like Bleach or Naruto, the West (North America) will be getting a new app game. Bandai Namco announced that they will be releasing the Shonen Jump app game “One Piece Thousand Storm” to the West. Players can pre-register for in-game bonuses and exclusive content. Here is what players will receive if they pre-register:

During the pre-registration period, all players who pre-register will receive three berry cards and five rainbow coins when 50,000 users pre-register the game–and three character medals for Trafalgar Law (2 years ago) with five rainbow coins when 100,000 users pre-register.  Further goals will subsequently be unlocked as more people pre-register, with all users getting a chance at more bonus gifts once the number of pre-registered users reaches those goals.  Details for pre-registration goals and rewards can be found at the ONE PIECE Thousand Storm official Facebook page and Official web site.

Sword Art Online news: Wordwide movie release! New app game for the West!

With the news of the film’s release date and introduction to new characters, we are given more exciting news! Publisher Kadokawa announced today the upcoming film Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale will be released to theaters wordwide on February 18, 2017! There are yet for full details but the staff informed that the movie will be premiered in 1,000 theaters all over the world.

Video game company Bandai Namco Entertainment recently streamed a video trailer of a new app game called Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag. The game is available for iOS and Android phones. The video trailer reveals that this game will be playable in the West. The free game was recently released in Japan in August 31.

The side-scroll-type action RPG features both the television show’s story and an original story. It supports online co-operative play.

Bandai Namco Entertainment is holding a preregistration campaign where all customers preregistering will receive in-game gifts. The number of bonuses will depend on the number of preregistered users.
