Thank God it’s Friday! Good morning everyone. It’s me Matt and I am here again for another episode of TGIF Friday Funny. In today episode, I got some exciting news! The first piece of news is that today is my older sister’s birthday! She was born today, October 14 and it’s a blessing to have her as an older sister. My sister loves to read and her favorite books are Harry Potter and the Hunger Games. She likes to paint, read her Bible and loves to listen to music. She also has a boyfriend but things are going to get better at January! Happy Birthday!!!

In other news in my personal life, I recently got a job and now that I am done with school, I will be gaining work experience. I am working at Amazon! However, since I am working, this also means my schedule might be busy again just like college life. Don’t worry however, I will still be here blogging and on Twitter. 🙂

Last news is that if you still watch Toonami, you may have heard that One-Punch Man has ended. However, a new anime will be joining Toonami and it’s called JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures. Based on the recent promo video, voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch will be the English voice of Jonathan Joestar and Patrick Seitz is Dio Brando. With this said, let’s boogie!

Here are some songs that my sister will love:

If you are not into Disney Songs, enjoy some JoJo Bizarre Adventure opening songs to help bring hype for Toonami premiere!

Happy Birthday sister! I hope everyone has a wonderful day and weekend!! 🙂

TGIF Friday Funny 77: The First Leaf

Thank God it’s Friday! Hello everyone, this Matthew and I am here to help make your Friday great. With September over, we are on the last quarter of the 2016! Since we are in October get ready for new changes. Changes like the weather for example; here is the US, we are currently in fall and this is the time where the leaves change color and the weather cools down. Too bad California has the weird weathers where it’s either cool one day and the other is hot has summer. Besides that, if you are following me in Twitter, I have been busy with personal life such as trying to find a job. Once I get approved, I will be mostly busy and I might respond less online, but don’t worry because I will still be blogging and doing these Friday posts! Since I will be working, most of you will be doing the same or at school.

Besides that, in the anime news recap, 2017 will be an exciting year because of the announcement of the Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale film being released worldwide and titles being rescued like the manga Suzuka and anime Squid Girl. If you have Playstation Plus, don’t forget to get the free games of the month Resident Evil and Transformers: Devastation.

Also, New York Comic Con is this weekend from October 6-9! I hope everyone has a good time at New York!!

With that said, let’s begin!

To end this post, here is a funny and creative AMV of the song Shake It Off (the original song is sung by Taylor Swift). If you like this video, go check this user’s channel. You might be wondering why I pick this song and video, my parents were listening this song and now it’s stuck in my head lol.

Not satisfied or just tired of hearing Taylor Swift? Here are some anime songs that will make dance!

(This reminds me of Kauses)

(This reminds me of Lita)

(I got this from Pink-Chan’s post)

Here are some I added:

That’s all folks! See you next time!!

News – Squid Girl! Dragon Ball Super toys!! Suzuka manga!!!

It’s already Tuesday and once again I am here with some more news!

Squid Girl

Announced today, North American licenser Sentai Filmworks have obtained the license to the anime series Squid Girl. This means they have the rights to release the anime episodes from seasons 1 and 2, and OVA for home DVDs and Digital outlets like iTunes.

Anime Synopsis:

The cutest little tentacle-haired invader from the sea, Squid Girl, has come to subdue humanity! Unfortunately, she’s in hot water with the Aizawa siblings after a demonstration of her squid powers destroys their restaurant, the Lemon Beach House. Now, she’s forced to work as a waitress for them until she pays off her damages. Between her aquatic puns, bickering with the Aizawa sisters, tiffs with customers, and the many misadventures that come with seaside life, Squid Girl has her hands, and her tentacles, full!

Dragon Ball Super

Announced by Toei and Bandai, the companies revealed today the a line of new Dragon Ball Super toys. What makes this news interesting is that these toys will be release for the US in summer 2017! The action figures will be as tall as either 3.5-inch, 6.5-inch and 7-inch. There will also have collectible sets and even “role-play items” Deluxe Scouters and Deluxe Kamehameha Shooter.

Announced today, English manga publisher Kodansha (well-known for doing Attack on Titan and A Silent Voice) rescued another manga series called Suzuka. There are total of 18 volumes of the series but recently, the manga in US had only 15 volumes and then discontinued; they were owned by Del Rey. Kodansha will be releasing the manga as well releasing it in digital books like Kindle and Kubo. The first five manga will be released on October 11.

SHE’S SO COOL Yamato is ready for a fresh start. So when his aunt invites him to stay rent-free in her big-city boarding house in hustling, bustling Tokyo, Yamato jumps at the chance. There’s just one teensy-weensy catch: It’s an all-girl housing complex and spa! Things get even more nerve-racking when Yamato meets his neighbor Suzuka, a beautiful track-and-field star. She’s not just the cutest girl Yamato’s ever met, she’s also the coolest, the smartest, and the most intimidating. Can an ordinary guy like Yamato ever hope to win over a girl like Suzuka?

Be cautious though, Crunchyroll mentioned digital releases. I am not sure if they will only release the manga as digital first or both.

TGIF Friday Funny 76: Fire vs Ice – The Great Debate

Thank God it’s Friday! Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of TGIF: Friday Funny. I am your host Matthew and I am here to bring your daily laughs. First things firsts, here are some brief news. I have good news and bad news; I will start with the bad news. Today was original release date to the long awaited video game Final Fantasy XV but according to the news, the video game got delayed and needed more time to clean up bugs and patches. Instead, recently, Sega has released the delayed video game of Sonic the Hedgehog’s other game series Sonic Boom titled “Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice“. This game is for Nintendo 3DS and you will be able to play as Sonic and his friends and use the power of fire and ice to beat every level. Also in the side note, we had our debate over here with the candidates, Donald Trump  (R) and Hilary Clinton (D). This is where I came up with the name.

Good news is that today is the last day of September. It’s time to say goodbye and welcome the last three months of 2016; first being October. October is the time where people dress up in costumes and decorate the house for Christ *ahem* I mean Halloween! It will be a spoooky month filled with horror, candy and the change of the cooler weather. Over here it’s still hot! I also finally watched the movie Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘f’. Feel free to chat with me about this movie. I will eventually do a review on it as well. Last but not least, if you paid attention to my blog, I blogged the whole month of September! All 30 days of September is filled!!

Without further ado, let’s end September!

To end this post, here some cool songs that will heat up this cold season!

Burn Baby Burn!

Ice Ice Baby!

Good bye and see you next from yours truly, the hottest but cool guy Matthew!

TGIF Friday Funny 71: My Girl!

TGIF, Thank God it’s Friday!

Good morning (or evening)! Welcome back to a spectacular Friday episode. Before we get started here are some news I would like to bring up. To those who don’t know, I recently started the 30 Day Anime Challenge. For the next 30 days, I will be answering questions in regards to my anime interest. You can see my previous answered days at awards/tags page in my blog page. Also, Tite Kubo’s manga series Bleach has finally ended. This series had been running for 15 years and it finally concluded. Even the series is over, some fans are miffed about the pairing of the main character Icihigo Kurosaki (I will not spoil it here). As we reach the end of the Friday for August, let us be prepare for the following week as get ready for September. Last but least, I have surprise tribute to one of my friends. Her birthday was on Wednesday August 24 but since I really can’t, physically, go celebrate, I have a surprise for her. Why are my friends so far away?

Anyway, let’s start this Friday with a bang!

Before I close post, I have a special announcement to make. I would like happy birthday to a college friend I know. Happy Birthday ToniAnne Erickson! Thanks for being my first friend at college and I enjoyed the time we spent chatting about random stuff and Marvel things.

What makes ToniAnne a great friend is that she is awesome to talk too. She likes Marvel comics and she likes to chill and watch TV shows. Her favorite shows are Breaking Bad, X-Files and Supernatural. She also likes music from artists like Twenty One Pilots, Three Days Grace, Skillet, and 30 Seconds to Mars. Her personal favorite song “My Girl by The Temptations” is another one she likes. She told me a little story behind this one: When she was baby, her brother would sing to her with this song and she would be fast to sleep. Unfortunately, her brother passed away when she was still young. God rest her brother’s soul.

Here are some of her favorite songs!

As an added bonus ToniAnne, if you ever want to get anime like me, a good friend mine named Shay from Anime Reviewer Girl (her YouTube channel here) has helped me find some good titles for you to check out. In her awesome opinion and based on what you told me about your taste in shows, she recommends titles like these: Sword Art Online, Future Diary, One-Punch Man and ERASED. Since you also like superhero films, I recommend My Hero Academia (I also recommend Sword Art Online lol).

That’s all folks!

Happy Birthday ToniAnne! 🙂
