Rightstuf describes this movie:
The NerveGear, the world’s first dedicated full-dive device developed by the genius programmer, Akihiko Kayaba in 2022…a revolutionary machine that opened up infinite possibilities for the world of VR (Virtual Reality). 4 years later…. A next-generation, wearable multi-device called the Augma has been released to compete with the NerveGear’s successor, the Amusphere. A cutting-edge machine boasting the ability to enhance AR (Augmented Reality) to the maximum, the Augma offers a safe, user-friendly experience, as it can be used while the player is awake, making it an instant hit. Its most popular title is an ARMMORPG developed exclusively for the Augma, “Ordinal Scale (a.k.a. OS).”
Kirito is about to join Asuna and the others as an Ordinal Scale player, but they’re about to find out that it isn’t all fun and games…

Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale movie review and experience
I want to personally thank Michael Kelly for donating at my Ko-fi on June 20th. Thank you Michael. If anyone wants a personal shout-out from me on my reviews or other projects, feel free to donate from my Ko-fi.
We are in June and this means that business is slowly coming back!
Sword Art Online
If it wasn’t for the Coronoavirus, we would already have the conclusion to the War of Underworld in April. Announced in a tweet from the official Sword Art Online Twitter, Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld will be back and streaming on July 11th. This second part of this anime will also be streamed via services such as Hulu, Crunchyroll, Funimation, and HIDIVE. In Japan, the creators plan to release an “omnibus” episode recapping the first act of War of Underworld in July 4th. Mark your calendars because the next act of the war is coming in July.
If you like spending on Aniplex titled anime and don’t want to spend money on buying individual volumes, get ready to cough up some dough. Joining along with Sword Art Online Alicization and Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Aniplex announced that the popular anime Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works will be released in a complete Blu-Ray set. Instead of buying volumes 1 and 2 of this anime, just spend approximately $200 on the entire set which includes episodes 0-25, an OVA and a mini-booklet. This anime will be released in July 14th.
Available for pre-order.
In case you missed it, Funimation got a lot of trouble in the recent episode of Kaguya-sama: Love is War season 2 due to a translation the subtitles. Despite Kaguya-sama being an Aniplex title, Funimation has the exclusive rights to stream the second season of the anime. You can watch the first season of this anime anywhere, but season 2 can only be watched on Funimation.
Reported on May 11th from Nicchiban, Funimation got into trouble from fans when one of the recent episodes included an anti-coronavirus conversation with the characters. Many fans pointed fingers at Funimation for tampering the official translations. Here is what the original said:
Original: “何でそんな遠い所にいるんだ？” (“Why are you staying away from me?”)
Original: “もちろんです！50センチ以内の接近も禁止します！” (“Of course! I will forbid being within less than 50 cm each other.”)
In recent spark of news, Aniplex wrote on Twitter acknowledging the translations and will revise it. This error was in episode 5.
What do you think about this news? Do you think the fault was solely on Funimation? Aniplex? or do you think this is just an overreaction from fans? Does this translation bother you?
Another Aniplex anime classic is going to be joining Funimation.
