Hello gamers and anime fans, I bring you exciting news from the world of Atlus games. You either played their games or heard of it, but Atlus is well-known for iconic games Japanese games like the Persona series and Catherine. The recent game title Persona 5 is one of the best selling games for the PS4 and PS3. According to their Twitter, Persona 5 has sold 3.2 million copies all over the world.

If you enjoyed Persona 5 and you really want more fun with the Phantom Thieves, you are in luck. It’s already announced that Atlus is releasing an updated version of Persona 5 called Persona 5 Royal in which players will be able to play the game again with new features such as new kingdoms, a third semester and new characters such as Kasumi. In Japan, this game is already out and fans are playing it. In America, fans will get this game on 2020.

Now, in today’s announcement, Atlus confirmed that Persona 5 Royal will be released on March 31st, 2020. To make it even better, fans can already pre-order this game through GameStop, Playstation store, Amazon, and Best Buy. Getting the Launched version gives gamers the steelbook case and a dynamic theme for your PS4 homescreen.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers Key Art

Persona is a popular game franchise that really knows how to attract RPG and anime lovers. We have the usually RPG games and we even have the dance spinoff games. Recently, Persona 5 is going to get an expansive version of the standard game with new content called Persona 5 Royal. That game won’t come out until 2020 for PS4 for Western fans. However, recently, Atlus has teased and revealed another new Persona 5 video game for PS4 and Swich. This game is called Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. As of now, this game is only for Japan and it will be released on February 20, 2020. If there is any news for a Western release, I will keep you up to date. According to the game’s trailer, Persona 5 Scramble will be a “musou” or Dynasty Warriors game where players can control their favorite character from the Phantom Thieves and fight off multiple enemies. It is being done by Atlus and Dynasty Warriors company Koei Tecmo and developed by Omega Force who is well-known for works like The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors and Dynasty Warriors 9. The game will take place after the story of Persona 5 (not sure if Persona 5 Royal also affects this game’s story).

If Bandai Namco is not your interest, I hope you like Atlus. If you didn’t know, Atlus is planning on releasing an expanded version of 2017 Persona 5 video game. This new version of the game is called Persona 5 Royal. This game will include a new character named Kasumi Yoshizawa. This game will also include new features such as a new palace, music, more hearts for social connections and even a third semester at school. The game is set to be released in Japan in October 2019. The West will be getting this game in 2020. In a recent trailer, this game will be in the markets in the West in the Spring of 2020! If you have a PS4, this is going to be a good year for gmaers!

Persona 5 Phantom Thieves join Catherine game

Joker is not just joining Super Smash Bros Ultimate, but he and his friends are entering another game but a title belonging to their home company Atlus. Revealed in a tweet, Atlus released a game trailer of the upcoming remastered of a 2011 game called Catherine. The remastered game is going to be called Catherine: Full Body and it is going to be on the PS4. Atlus also announced that the characters from Persona 5 will be joining the game Catherine: Full Body as an add-on. Players will be able to play as Joker and have his friends cheer him on as they tackle puzzles and missions. Catherine: Full Body will be available for purchase on September 3rd and if players buy the digital deluxe edition, Joker will be in this game on day one.

New Perona 5 Royal English Dub trailer!

I forgot to write this yesterday, it’s been announced that Atlus is planning to release an updated version of the hit sensation Persona 5 titled Persona 5 Royal. It’s already confirmed that this game is planning to be release in Asia in 2019 later the year for PS4, but will be given a Western release on 2020. The recent news is that Atlus released an English Dub trailer of Perona 5 Royal with two new voice actors joining the series. The role of playing as the new girl Kasumi will be Laura Post. Laura Post is an English Dub voice actor who works in Bang Zoom! Entertainment and she provided voices for characters like Rosalia from Sword Art Online and Harly Quinn in Batman: The Enemy Within. The second voice actor joining the game is Billy Kametz who will be the Shujin Academy counselor named Takuto Maruki. Billy Kametz is well known for voicing Naofumi Iwatani in The Rising of the Shield Hero and Josuke Higashikata from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable.
