Exclusive Rocket Pop! unboxing

Greetings Pop fans! This is Matthew and once again, I have another Pop figure I want to share with you. This new figure I have is a Rocket Raccoon figure from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

However, according to the box, this Rocket is based on the Disney California Adventures ride Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!. Originally, this ride was called The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror before it shut down and got a Marvel make over. In this ride, Rocket has to save his team from The Collector.

I bought this Disney Exclusive item from the shopDisney.com website. I used my Disney points to redeem for a $20 giftcard and I got this without spending a penny.

This marks my 37th figure in my collection.

Before I unleash the memes, here are some news I need to share. If you Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury game series has joined the roster. Not only him joins the game, but his DLC pack will include 50 tracks from the SNK games and even a stage based on the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters series with many iconic characters in the background. Hello Disney fans! As we are couple days away until Disney+ is released, most of us are going to subscribe to this service and watch many Disney content including exclusives. You might be wondering, will this only be for North American users or will be all access to all? I got good and bad news. Good news is that Disney+ will be released for fans all over the world such as the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. These are known announced locations in which fans will be able to stream and more than likely, more will be added. The bad news is that EU fans will have to wait 2020 to get access. The official release for Disney+ for EU fans will be March 31, 2020.

Friday Funny 235: It’s good to be bad

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for another meme filled Friday with your host, me! I hope everyone is having a nice week. We already reaching Halloween and I bet it has been a hassle to get candy and costumes for this season. So far I don’t plan to go to any Halloween party or go trick or treating this year, so I might just stay home and watch movies. Speaking of movies, I saw the movie Joker with my brother and we really loved it. I totally recommend this movie if you want to see a dark movie about a well known DC villain in a realistic world. If you not interested in seeing something dark, how about some Disney evil instead. Coming out today is the sequel live action movie Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. In anime, we had the premiere of season 4 of My Hero Academia and the second cour of Sword Art Online Alicization. I also hoped you enjoyed the English Dub of Demon Slayer and One-Punch Man season 2 on Toonami. If we were in November, get ready for the upcoming  Disney streaming service. If you love Disney cartoons, Star Wars, Marvel and live action movie, this is one thing you need to get if you are a Disney fanatic.

Spider-Man returns to MCU! Sony and Disney proposes new deal!

Image result for spider-man returns

Looks like Spidey won’t be leaving us anytime soon. This spider is here to stay! It’s been announced today that Sony and Disney has settled a deal on Thursday night that Spider-Man will remain in the MCu world with the Avengers. Sony Pictures chief Tom Rothman, Feige and Walt Disney Studios co-chairs Alan Horn and Alan Bergman both discussed about the future movies of Spider-Man and finding his place in the Marvel world and they both settled for an agreement. In the summer, Disney-Marvel wanted a 50/50 on the money earned from Sony instead of the proposed 5%. Now, Disney-Marvel agreed to 25% in which they will earn and they hold the merchandising rights. In addition to the deal, it’s been confirmed that they will be doing a third Spider-Man taking place after the events of Far From Home. This new Spider-Man movie will be in theaters July 16, 2021. Kevin Feige even hinted about Spider-Man appearing in Sony’s own Marvel universe such as Venom.

“I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it. “Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”

  • Kevin Feige

Disney announces The Lion King and Aladdin classic game collection!

Think back when you were you were little and you used to play classic licensed games like Disney games on your SNES or Sega Genesis. Here you are an adult and what if I told you that you can play these games again in your modern consoles. It’s been announced yesterday that Disney is planning to release a game collection in which it will have three different game versions of Aladdin and The Lion King including a never before played demo of an Aladdin game; the total games in this collection is seven. This game collection is called Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King. According to IGN, here is what we’re getting:

  • Disney’s Aladdin (Sega Genesis)
  • Disney’s Aladdin (Game Boy)
  • Disney’s Aladdin (Final Cut)
  • Disney’s Aladdin (Trade Show)
  • Disney’s The Lion King (Sega Genesis)
  • Disney’s The Lion King (SNES)
  • Disney’s The Lion King (Game Boy/Super Game Boy)

Based on the trailer, players will be able to play the game with enhance graphics and the ability to jump into any moment in the game. You will also be able to rewind time in order to correct yourself if you make a mistake while playing. Unfortunately this game, as far as I know, will not have the SNES version of Aladdin. My guess is that this game was once licensed by Capcom and now Capcom doesn’t have the rights for the game anymore. It’s pretty common for Capcom because they usually lose the rights to a game. This happened before with the Ducktales Remastered and Marvel vs Capcom Origins. The SNES Aladdin game was designed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.

This game will be released for a price of $29.99 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC. It set to be released in the Fall 2019.
