September 2022: Funko Pop Haul

Greetings collectors across the globe! I am back with another haul post from Funko hobby. If you been following me, I like to show off the monthly hauls from my recent purchases of Funko Pop collection. For this haul, it’s another small post, but it is pretty valuable. Let me show you!

151. Simba with a VHS cover of The Lion King (Amazon Exclusive)

As someone who grew up with Disney, I felt like I had to get this figure. I don’t usually pre-order figures unless it’s a major want, but when I do, I make it a priority to get what I want. I pre-ordered this figure way back around May. It finally came to my house and in good condition. What makes this figure stand out is that the box is based on the classic VHS cover of The Lion King animated movie. We have an adult Simba on the pride rock with the movie cover on the background. I really like this throwback. Before Disney Plus, I always watched movies on video. DVDs wasn’t popular around this time. This figure is taller than my usual pops, but it is nice to see some classic art being used as references.
