Friday Funny 190: Friday Joins Smash!

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome my friends for another exciting Friday Funny episode. I am just going to cut to the chase because most of you want to play Super Smash Bros: Ultimate. Today is the release of Nintendo’s best selling crossover fighting game, Super Smash Bros: Ultimate. Why is it? It’s Ultimate because this game has over 70+ characters from the Nintendo 64 game to the Wii U/3DS and even newcomers like Ridley and King K. Rool. This game will even all the past stages and thanks to the Switch hardware, the stages will be in HD. You can even play the game with a GameCube controller as long you have the adapter. Players will also be able to play the game’s story where the survivor is Kirby and he must fight against evil clones of his friends. If you have a Nintendo Switch, you better grab a copy of the game and invite your friends. At this point, Nintendo is going to convert every gamer into a Nintendo fan. Besides this game, we have 18 days before Christmas, so I hope you didn’t spend too much money on yourself; make sure you have enough for gifts. Also, get ready for upcoming movies for 2018. I heard that Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse is a real great movie and if you plan to watch it, mark your calendars for December 14.

With this said, let’s smash!

Now here is some sweet, smashing videos:

See you in Final Destination with no weapons and smash orbs

Friday Funny 189: Are you ready kids?

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for another episode of Friday Funny. I hope everyone had a good November this year as today is the last day of November. It’s time to say goodbye to the month of Turkey and the sales of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In my opinion, it feels more like Black Friday Weekend and Cyber Monday week. With some sales coming to a close, get ready to save some money and spend it all for gifts for others and yourself! As we make it to December, get ready for some awesome movies and releases. We have Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros Ultimate coming out this early December. We also have movies such as the Transformer’s spinoff Bumblebee. DC is dishing out the origin movie Aquaman. Marvel is going to conclude their movies of 2018 with a PG-13 “Christmas” movie of Deadpool called Once Upon A Deadpool and Sony Animation is giving fans an awesome Spider-Man cartoon movie called Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Besides buying gifts, I hope you guys saved enough money for popcorn and tickets to see these movies. Last but never the least, in case you missed out, the creator of the cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants has died this week. Stephen Hillenburg died in the age of 57 from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) or also known as  Lou Gehrig’s disease. ALS is a terminal disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. SpongeBob SquarePants made his debut in May 1st, 1999 and it’s considered a great cartoon in Nickelodeon. The cartoon made over 11 seasons including specials and even had celebrity guests in some episodes such as Johnny Depp and David Bowie. It even has two movies and appeared in video games. It’s unknown what’s going to happen now for the yellow sponge’s future, but it’s important to know that Stephen is no longer suffering. He gave us something to laugh whenever we watch TV.

Let’s end November with a powerful note.

As a way to honor Stephen Hillenburg, here are some SpongeBob clips:

That’s all kids!

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Maybe I should be saying Thank God it’s Black Friday! TGIBF? Either way, today is Friday and I am pretty sure some of you people are shopping today and will most likely read this Friday post later today. That’s okay, but be careful out there and respect the employees. It’s nice to shop for deals and get more with your money, but don’t forget that the workers out there. These people have to give up their free time with family and friends and work on the holidays. These are kind of people who give up their time for you guys. I am not trying to say don’t shop, but I am just saying, be considerate. You wouldn’t want to work in the holidays too. Yesterday was Thanksgiving and I hope everyone got to enjoy the day eating with family and friends and remember why are we thankful. This weekend, we have some amazing movies for those who wants to settle down and eat some popcorn and soda. The sequel to Wreck-It Ralph is here and the movie is called Ralph Breaks the Internet. In this movie, Ralph in this movie is going turbo and jumping into the world of the internet. Another movie coming out this week is the movie Creed II. Returning for the roles, Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone are back from the first movie in 2015 and will take on some tough boxers. In this movie, Adonis Creed trains himself as he takes on the son of a boxer who was mentored by the same man who killed his dad, Apollo Creed. Rocky teaches him the struggle of facing someone dangerous. In other words of the news, we got some two exciting sequels of November!

Let’s kickstart the weekend with a bang!

Here are some tasty videos 😉

Also coming out this weekend is the next Pokemon movie called Pokemon: The Power of Us. Check out how Ash and some new characters work together to save a town depended on wind technology.

Just for something random, November 24th is the anniversary when Nickelodeon premiered the movie Hey Arnold! The Jungle movie. The movie premiered on public TV on November 24th and this movie is a big deal since it answers questions about what happened to Arnold’s parents.

Be like Arnold and make a difference. Goodbye!

Friday Funny 186: I hate reboots, remasters, dragons and holidays!

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back to another fun filled Friday from yours truly. I hope everyone is doing okay and got plenty of rest thanks to Daylight Savings. This week been busy here with the family as my brother turned 18 years this Wednesday. As we are in November, make sure you save some money for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This is a good time to save up and buy from sales. I know I want to shop for more anime and video games over here. I want to expand my Nintendo Switch game library. These sales won’t happen until Black Friday, but get ready for this weekend and next week. This weekend is the movie The Grinch, a cartoon reboot movie made by the same people who did Despicable Me and Minions movie. The Grinch is back and will be voiced by Dr. Strange actor Benedict Cumberbatch. If you thought the Grinch movie looks different and feels weird, get ready for a planned reboot of the Shrek movies and Puss in Boots movie. It’s been announced that the same people behind The Grinch wants to reboot Shrek. Coming out this Tuesday is the return of the PS1 classic Spyro the Dragon. Just like Crash Bandicoot from last year, Activision will be releasing a remaster collection of the three PS1 games under the name Spyro Reignited Trilogy.  If you grew up with Spyro like me, this game is worth buying.

Let’s light up this awesome weekend!

Here are some nostalgia videos for Spyro fans:

Have a toasty Friday!

Friday Funny 178: The Spider-Patriot

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday. Hello and good morning everyone. I hope everyone is having a good week this September. As we are heading towards the middle of month, the time and season is about to change. Summer is about go to sleep for the year and autumn is going show up and cool things down. I hope everyone is having a fun time playing the new Spider-Man video game for PS4. I got my copy from Walmart online and it came this Monday. So far, this game is so much fun and it was worth the wait. This game makes you enjoy the feel of being Spider-Man and you get to see his life as both Spidey and Peter Parker. This game is filled with easter eggs such as being able to visit the Avengers Tower and Dr. Strange Sanctum. This game is like the counterpart of Batman Arkham series. If DC, Warner Bros and Rocksteady can make a good Batman game, then Marvel and Insomniac Studios can do the same. Still, I wish this game was available for Xbox, Switch and PC owners so they can experience the fun too. I hope this will also be a wake up call and Marvel will do more video games for consoles as well. Sidenote however, I never played Spider-Man 2 for PS2 or GameCube. Shocking right? Besides that, I hope you guys are also enjoying the new anime season FLCL: Alternative. This new season has a new cast of characters with the returning Haruko and as usual, the story is too random to understand.

Here are the memes!

Here are some random videos of Spider-Man movies with the American flag moments.

Friday Funny 175: We Are Number 1!

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back to another episode of Friday Funny! I am here to bring joy and happiness to your day. Today is the third Friday of August and we have one last Friday left. I hope everyone is doing well this week and I hope everyone is okay in this summer heat. If you missed out on the news of this week, here is a quick run down. Bandai Namco has revealed many game trailers and news for upcoming games. Jump Force will be adding characters from Hunter x Hunter, Vegeta from Dragon Ball and even more pirates from One Piece. Soul Calibur VI just revealed the first DLC character to join the roster and it’s Tira from SC3, 4, and 5. In order to get her, you need to buy either the season pass or DLC alone; you don’t get her with the preorder bonus. Last but not least, we got some information to the upcoming One Piece game One Piece World Seeker. According to the recent trailer, Luffy gets captured by the Marines and gets taken to Prsion Island. Luffy will have to escape from the marines and face off against powerful enemies like the admirals, CP9 and even the Vinsmoke family.

I do have some sad news. If you haven’t heard, Stefan Karl Stefansson recently passed away. Stefan was in the childhood show LazyTown which was in Nick Jr. and he played as the town’s villian Robbie Rotten. His actor involved tricking kids into becoming lazy and his rival is the active superhero Sportacus. I rememeber watching this show years ago whenever I was off from school as a kid. I loved the catchy songs and I enjoyed the Robbie. Robbie was like goofball villain similar to Wario or Waluigi. Rest in peace for this man. He was number one.

With this said, let’s begin!

In honor of the actor of Robbie Rotten, here are some songs worth listening in memory of him.

God bless you!

Friday Funny 172: Hello there Christopher Robin

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Hello friends and welcome back to another episode of Friday Funny! Today is the very first Friday of August and as we are still in summer, make sure everyone is safe and drinking plenty of water. There is not much recap news to discuss, but I do have some new news! Today is the Disney live-action movie Christopher Robin; a story based on the colorful characters if Winnie the Pooh where the story focuses on a adult Christopher Robin who wants to spend time with his family but work is getting in the way. However, when he sees his childhood stuff animal friend Pooh, he helps Pooh to find his friends in 100 Acre Woods. Christopher Robin is played by Ewan Mcgregor (well-known for being Obi-Wan in the Star Wars Prequels films) and we have veteran voice actor Jim Cummings who will voice the iconic characters Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. Last but not least, my friend Allie needs feedback on her fanfiction story of Loonatics Unleasehed. She is an awesome writer like me and she needs an audience who will read her story and give opinions. Please support her and encourage her to write more episodes. I will leave a link to her first episode.

With this said, let’s go my friends!

Here are some delightful videos!

Goodbye and I promise to come back.

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Hello beautiful people! Welcome back to another funny and chilled episode of TGIF Friday Funny! I hope everyone is doing okay and being healthy in this summer heat. I am here to address some major and quick news, so please take notes. This weekend is the San Diego Comic Con! The SDCC 2018 will be taking place in July 19th (today) to all the way to July 22nd. According to online news, DC is going to be revealing some interesting news and details on the movies and shows. Movies like the second Wonder Woman movie which is being called Wonder Woman 1984, Shazam! and Aquaman. For TV shows, get ready for news scoop such as Titans and the possibility of Batwoman in Arrow. I haven’t heard much from Marvel movies, but if you hear any movie topics relating to MCU, Sony with Venom and Spider-Verse or Fox movies, let me know. Next piece of news is about fanfiction from Allie. Remember my friend Allie from Writer’s Visionaries? Well, she is back again and revamping her fanfiction writing based on the action packed cartoon series Loonatics Unleashed. She needs your help by reading her writing and giving her feedback. Her writing is great and her imaginative story plot is truly remarkable. I really encourage you guys to go check out her story and give her your thoughts. Please be nice and encourage her to write more. Here is the first episode of her story:

Last but not least unless you don’t play games, SEGA has re-released a physical copy of Sonic Mania titling it Sonic Mania Plus. If you like Sonic Mania or want to play it, but you want to hold the game in your hands, SEGA released a physical copy with a reverse-able cover art which trademarks the game and make it feel like you bought a Sega Genesis game. According to Sega, if you already have the game from last year, you can pay $5 for the Encore DLC which also changes the game title Sonic Mania Plus. In this updated version, the classic characters Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel returns from 1993 and become playable. New zones and bosses are added in the Encore mode and 4 players can join to compete each other. I have this game and I highly recommend it! If Sega can add these characters, I hope we get the Chaotix such as Espio, Vector and Charmy or give us classic Amy.

With this said, let’s go do this nerds!

Here are some funny and cute episodes of the series Sonic Mania Adventures. There are five episodes in total and they’re all free. These episodes are to promote the game Sonic Mania Plus. Sonic Mania was developed by a game programmer named Christian Whitehead and he along with other people in the Sonic fandom community helped and create this game. He also made the app version games of Sonic 1, 2 and CD. With the help of SEGA, you can play classic Sonic games with enhanced features which is great fanservice.

See you later guys!

Friday Funny 169: Merry Christmas in Friday the 13th for Bois and Gurls!

TGIF!

Welcome back to another episode of TGIF Friday Funny. I hope everyone is surviving the heat and avoiding mosquito bites. There’s not much to say in regards to anything big coming or anything new being released today as far as I know, but I am aware that Anime Expo is over. If you been to Anime Expo last weekend, you might have already heard some exciting news from different anime companies from Japan and English companies like Viz and FUNimation. One of the biggest news is the announcement of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind (Part 5). If you love JoJo and you got to see a preview of the first episode, what did you think about it? Additionally, Viz also announced that they got the license and rights to do an English Dub to the previous JoJo anime Diamond is Unbreakable. I also got some exciting news in Dragon Ball! Revealed online, the Dragon Ball Super movie has a title and movie villain. The villain is Broly and this Broly will be different according to Akira Toriyama (creator of Dragon Ball). The movie will be called Dragon Ball Super: Broly and it is set to be released in Japan theaters in December 14th.

Since we are in July, we are technically in the middle of the year of 2018! You might have noticed some sale going on through many stores and websites. PSN is having a mid year sale in digital games and I was able to snag Final Fantasy VII for the PS4. In anime websites, Rightstuf is celebrating their 31st birthday! Rightstuf is slashing down prices in select anime for all anime and every week until August. Some manga from Viz is being sold in bundles to help fans to get their collection and catch up with the story. Everyday, Rightstuf will pick an anime and make a “Mega Deal” and cut the price in half for one day only. Another website taking advantage of the month is Sentai Filmworks. Up until July 22nd, all anime DVD sets including Premium sets are in sale for a limited time. If you want that premium set of High School of the Dead or Food Wars with DVD/Blu-Ray combo with exclusive items, go to the site and order your copy before they run out! Last but random and also not least, I saw Ant-Man and the Wasp! The movie was funny and entertaining and I thought it surpassed the first movie. Beloved characters return and the ending scene after the credits hype you for the next MCU film. This is the last MCU film in 2018 and the only Marvel movies left is from Sony and they are Venom and the animated movie Spider-Verse.

With all this said, Merry Christmas!

To conclude this post, here are some random anime opening songs that is not Shonen Jump titles. If you want SJ openings, check out last week Friday post.

I hope everyone have an awesome weekend and watch more anime!

However, there’s a villain named the Ghost who uses some advance technology to have the ability to walk through walls like a ghost and she is after Hank’s technology.
