September 2022: Funko Pop Haul

Greetings collectors across the globe! I am back with another haul post from Funko hobby. If you been following me, I like to show off the monthly hauls from my recent purchases of Funko Pop collection. For this haul, it’s another small post, but it is pretty valuable. Let me show you!

151. Simba with a VHS cover of The Lion King (Amazon Exclusive)

As someone who grew up with Disney, I felt like I had to get this figure. I don’t usually pre-order figures unless it’s a major want, but when I do, I make it a priority to get what I want. I pre-ordered this figure way back around May. It finally came to my house and in good condition. What makes this figure stand out is that the box is based on the classic VHS cover of The Lion King animated movie. We have an adult Simba on the pride rock with the movie cover on the background. I really like this throwback. Before Disney Plus, I always watched movies on video. DVDs wasn’t popular around this time. This figure is taller than my usual pops, but it is nice to see some classic art being used as references.

June 2022 Funko Pop Haul

Hello gamers and collectors! I bring you another Funko Pop haul post. I haven’t been collecting much lately because I am trying to do some late spring cleaning and organize my collection. For this post, it’s going to be really short since I only bought one rare figure.

148. Sonic the Werehog (Sonic the Hedgehog series Hot Topic exclusive)

As soon as I saw this on the Hot Topic website, I just had to get him. As a Sonic fan, this was an offer I couldn’t resist. This version of Sonic is him in his Werehog form from the game Sonic Unleashed. Sonic Unleashed is one of those Sonic games that most fans recommend if you want to experience the speed of Sonic and an epic story. This game was made in 2008 and it came out years after titles such as Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), Sonic and the Secret Rings and Sonic Riders. According to Wikipedia, Sonic Unleashed was going to be a sequel to Sonic Adventure 2 and it was titled Sonic World Adventure, but the team at Sega decided to take a different path for this game. You can play this game even today for for the Xbox Series console and use the backwards compatibility feature. So far there is no update for this game for the PlayStation, PC or Switch unless Sega decides to give this the “Ultimate” treatment like Sonic Colors.

What do you think of the Werehog form? I wish this figure has a flock fuzzy texture.

March 2022 Funko Pop Haul *Happy 8 Years of blogging!*

Howdy everyone! You know what this means when you see Funko. It’s time for another Funko Haul post. Without a doubt, this one of the biggest haul of the year so far. I bought myself some pops and some were given to me as birthday gifts. Lets go over my updated figures.

137-140.

  •  The Drowned (Batman Hot Topic exclusive)
  • Vegeta with apron (Dragon Ball Super HT exclusive)
  • Carnage (Marvel HT)
  • Evil Inuyasha (HT)

I got these four figures from Hot Topic online. These four are exclusives and once I saw them return to the site, I had to get them. The Drowned figure was the cheapest of the bunch. The Drowned is a dark alternate version of Batman from Earth -11. With the money and technology along with taking the throne of Aquawoman, Bryce Wayne becomes The Drowned. Now she and along with Dark Knights are ready to conquer the universe. Nothing really special with this one, but I bought this version of Carnage. I believe this figure is based on the moment where he escapes from jail. The Vegeta figure with the apron is based on the moment where he tried to cook eggs during Dragon Ball. Last but not least, I also got Evil Inuyasha. Sometimes called Demon Inuyasha, this Inuyasha, when under pressure, becomes a violent vicious demon. He becomes so dangerous he doesn’t need his blade and he is willing to attack his friends.

141+142.

  • Pigeotto
  • Michelangelo

For my birthday, my girlfriend got me some pop figures. I got Pigeotto from the Pokemon series and this Michelangelo is from the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. If you are a classic fan of Pokemon, you would know that Pigeotto was one of Ash’s first Pokemon when he started his journey. I haven’t seen this movie, but I would have assume there is a reason why Mikey is holding a box of donuts instead of pizza. Maybe I should watch it on my free time.

143+144.

  • Philharmagic Mickey Mouse
  • Demongo

Got these guys again from Hot Topic, but with Hot Cash. I got this shiny and sparkly Mickey Mouse figure in his good suit with sorcerer’s hat and the malevolent Demongo. It is Disney World’s 50th anniversary and Disney is going all out on the celebration. Mickey is ready to party and fill the world with magic. From the animated series Samurai Jack, we have this deadly ally of Aku, Demongo. What makes him dangerous is the fact he can summon spirits and make them fight as long as he still standing. However, knowing Jack, he was able to find a weakness and inflict damage to this intimating dark magic user.

145. Mai Valentine from Yu-Gi-Oh!

As a way to celebrate the 25th anniversary Funko released more Yu-Gi-Oh! Pops. I got Mai when I went to GameStop and I also bought Persona 5 Royal and Catherine for the Switch. She’s not an exclusive, but it’s cool to snag a character from a popular anime series. Mai is one tough duelist with her Harpie Ladies and her Amazonian women.

146+147

  • Boruto
  • Raphael

I got these two from going shopping at Barnes and Noble with my girlfriend. I got Boruto from the Boruto series and Raphael from the same movie with the one I got with Michelangelo. This Boruto looks different and if you remembered correctly, this Boruto appeared in the first few pages of the Boruto manga and the beginning of the anime. It’s unknown what happened, but Boruto is wearing the scratched headband from Sasuke, wielding a sword, has a scar on his eye and he is able to unleash his karma powers. This Raphael doesn’t have his sais but he is ready to kick butt. I also bought myself a VizBig Inuyasha manga book.

148. Majin Buu with Ice-Cream (GameStop exclusive)

Last but not least, I got this t-shirt/figure combo set from my friend Ezra for my birthday. This is Majin Buu from the anime Dragon Ball Z. This pink blob monster is scary when angered, but if you give him ice-cream, he’ll be happy. Gotta love this pink character in which I think of him as Patrick Star.

That is all the figures I got from March. It was a big haul. I have a total of 148 figures. I hope you enjoyed seeing my collection. Cheers to 8 years of blogging!

February 2022 Funko Pop Haul

I took a break from buying Pop figures on January in case you were wondering why January felt different. As we enter 2022, I started to buy Pops again in February. I bought some really cool looking figures in February despite dealing with warm and cold weather. February was a short, but busy month.

133+134. Batman Battle-Damaged (The Batman Hot Topic exclusive) and Hades (Hercules Hot Topic exclusive)

I bought these two from Hot Topic. Around this time, I had to do errands in which I had to get my oil change on my car and get an eyes checked. While waiting, I did some shopping to pass the time. I went to Hot Topic and I came back spending my money on some cool stuff. I bought some T-shirts and Pop figures.

This Batman figure is based on the recent 2022 Matt Reeves movie The Batman which is played by Robert Pattinson. Batman has to solve crimes and get into messy fights when dealing with thugs and the serial killer Riddler. Not DC, but I bought this Disney villain Hades. Hades is one of my favorite Disney villains.

135-136. Boba Fett and Fennec Shand from The Book of Boba Fett

Better late than never. I bought these two Star Wars characters in my late Valentines Date. My girlfriend and I went to Downtown Disney and shopped around the stores and venders. The first place we did shopping was at a Star Wars store at the place. Taking place within the Star Wars story, The Book of Boba Fett tells the story about Boba Fett and how he survived from the movie The Return of the Jedi and what happened to him after the events of The Mandalorian season 2. Boba along with Fennec are trying to do have order in Mos Eisley in the planet Tatooine. I didn’t hesitate to get these two characters.

I have a total of 136 figures.

November 2021 Funko Pop Haul

Hey everyone, I am here with another haul to share with you for my Funko Pop figure collection. This is going to be a real short post because in all honesty, it’s only figure.

130. Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas (Hot Topic Art Series Exclusive)

Obviously, I bought this exclusive art version of Sally from Hot Topic online. With some Hot Cash in hand, I snagged Sally and two anime figures from Sword Art Online and Bleach. Apparently there is more of the art series for the Nightmare Before Christmas characters including Jack, The Mayor and Oogie Boogie. Sally has a different color palette on her and she has some thorn designs.

This is the 130th figure and the only one I bought in the month of November.

July 2021 Funko Pop Haul

Howdy partners! I hope everyone had a good July this year. Besides 4th of July, July has been a hot and busy month. With my job getting busier everyday, this means I get more hours for my pay. Besides hours, July is also a good month for summer sales. I didn’t buy much anime from Rightstuf’s birthday sale, but I did buy some Pop Funko figures. In this post, here is my haul of July purchases:

110-111. (Hot Topic Exclusives) Ballerina Deadpool and Lust

As always, Hot Topic is my good to go place to buy Pops. Around the same time where Rightstuf was having their birthday mega sale month, Hot Topic was having their two week Hot Cash sale. Fortunately, I had some Hot Cash ready to spent. I actually got three Pops in my transaction but the third one is a gift. As you can tell, I got two exclusive figures. I got Deadpool in a ballerina outfit and Fullmetal Alchemist’s deadly Homunculus Lust. Deadpool is one of my favorite Marvel characters because of his goofy personality and him being awesome. As soon as I saw Lust, I had to get her. It feels like the FMA figures are hard to get these days. My first figure was King Bradley which was a HT exclusive and then I got Winry from GameStop. I need to find the Elric Brothers. If I ever get Edward, I hope I can get it signed by Vic Mignogna.

112. (Hot Topic Exclusive) Miles Morales in Winter Clothes Gamerverse

I bought this Miles Morales figure during the last few days of the Hot Cash sale from Hot Topic. This Miles Morales figure is based on the recent PlayStation game Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales for PS4/PS5. Taking place after the events of the first game, you play as the young new Spider-Man and protect New York against a new threat. Just like the first game, as you play the story and accept challenges, you unlock new costumes. This costume has Miles suited for the cold winter days with a cap, ear muffs and scarf. This is one of my favorite suits in the game.

113. Marvel Spider-Man Gamerverse

I randomly purchased this figure along with another one while shopping at Walmart site. This Spider-Man is based on the video game Marvel’s Spider-Man. I remembered seeing this figure years ago when Marvel and Funko was promoting the game and released other figures like an unmasked Spider-Man, Mary Jane, Mister Negative and a Negative Suit version of Spider-Man. This isn’t an exclusive but this figure looks like a standard figure. The back of the box is blank and doesn’t have words like collect more.

114. (7-Eleven Exclusive) Deadpool in a cake

I got this special Deadpool figure from my friend Ezra. It was a birthday gift he gave me. As part of the 30th anniversary, Funko released many versions of Deadpool. This figure is fitting for this 30th anniversary and being my birthday gift. Thank you Ezra. This is actually the first I got on July.

This is all I got from July. I have a total of 114 figures.

December 2020 Funko Pop Haul

Hey welcome back for another haul post featuring your favorite Pop collector. This is me, Matthew and I am to share with you another post revealing my up to date collection Funko Pops. This post will feature Pop figures from the month of December in the last year of 2020.

Before we begin, check out my girlfriend’s fanfiction at Vocal if you love Loonatics Unleashed:

https://vocal.media/geeks/loonatics-unleashed

Anyway, check out my treasure!

77. Silent Knight Batman (Hot Topic Exclusive)

78. Beanstalk Mickey

79. Mickey Mouse

I bought these three figures while shopping for a Christmas gift for my brother. After buying him Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for the PS4, I decided to treat myself for some shopping for myself. I went to Hot Topic and indulge on Pop figures. I went and grabbed three figures. The first thing I got was Batman Silent Knight. I believe it’s one of those special festive figures because on the box it shows DC characters celebrating Christmas. This Batman figure has an icy appearance along with snowflakes on his cowl and cape. The next figures I bought is two versions of Mickey Mouse. One is from the Disney classic short “Mickey and the Beanstalk” and the other is a standard Mickey Mouse figure. I am a huge fan of Mickey Mouse ever since I was a little kid. I couldn’t resist getting Mickey and I wanted to him be part of my collection.

80. Funko Box: Dragon Ball Z Only at GameStop

Since my family knows I love Dragon Ball Z and Pops, my brother got me this Mystery Box contain DBZ Pop figures and collector’s editions toys. It was one of the best Christmas gifts I got. According to the GameStop website, this is a mystery box containing some random characters, but each one has the following:

1 Funko Pop figure

1 PEZ Head

1 Keychain figure

Patch

1 set of 2-pack pins

I am not going to cover everything what the mystery box has, but I will tell what I got in my box. If you’re curious on what the box usually contains, check out the details at GameStop. In my box, I got this Majin Buu holding a lollipop figure. I got Perfect Cell PEZ head and a shiny chrome like Perfect Cell keychain. I also got a set of pins containing Perfect Cell and Final Form Frieza. The patch I got says “Frieza Force”.

This is random, but my brother also got me Domez figure from the Batman series; I got Robin. This is the third figure I got from the Domez series. The first two figures I got was a Steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse (stepping on soap) and Spider-Carnage.

I have a total of 80 figures. I can’t wait to tell what I got from January 2021!

November 2020 Funko Pop Haul

Better late than never! Sorry for this late unhauling post. I been really busy with the holidays and with work taking up much of my energy, I haven’t had the time to share with you my updated collection. Today I share with you another haul post showcasing the new Funko Pop figures I bought in November. Sit back and observe.

71. Hulk from Avengers Endgame (Funko Insider Club edition)

Anyone remembered Avengers Endgame from 2019? I got this Hulk (or people call him Dr. Hulk or Professor Hulk) from a sale at GameStop in order to get free shipping. Based on the box, this is a different figure with different colors on his clothes. Based on pictures I seen on the figures, there is one with the Quantum spacesuits and the other with the Infinity Gauntlet. Still, I got for free shipping and I like collecting specially marked figures.

72. The Mandalorian  with The Child 10-inch figure from Star Wars The Mandalorian

I got this figure along with the Endgame Hulk figure from GameStop. I have collected many big figures before, but nothing like this. This is a 10 inch figure of the Mandalorian holding the adorable Child. Besides the size, this figure is different than the one I have because this one has a chrome helmet. Just like how the show tries to imitate the Beskar armor, the face of figure is chrome and it is very reflective.

73. The Child with the Control Knob (GameStop Exclusive)

Likewise from GameStop, I just had to get this Child. In this GameStop version, the Child is holding the control knob like a toy. It is funny gag in the show since the Child is little kid and is very amused with Mando’s stuff. I believe I got these following three in a buy 2, get 1 free deal.

74+75. Mitsuki (Sage Mode) from Boruto (Hot Topic) + Yugi Muto from Yu-Gi-Oh!

I got these two characters from spending my Hot Cash from Hot Topic. I got Mitsuki from Boruto and I got Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh. Now that I got Yugi, Joey, Pegasus and Kaiba, the next character I want to get is Yami Yugi. What makes this MItsuki special is that in this Hot Topic edition, this figure can glow in the dark as it supposed to imitate his sage mode ability. It’s an ability where Mitsuki learns from trainning with Orochimaru.

76. Dark Magician Girl from Yu-Gi-Oh!

I actually bought this one from Walmart online. It’s always hard to get figures from different venders especially if they charge shipping for express. This Dark Magician Girl is cute and was released the same time Funko released Yami, Kaiba and Blue-Eyes White Dragon. The next target to get is her partner, the Dark Magician.

I have a total of 76 figures.

October 2020 Funko Pop Haul

Hello Pop fans! It’s me, Matthew and I am here to do another haul post involving my hobbies of collecting Pop Funko figures. As you all know, I adore Funko Pops and I go out of my way to collect them as if I was a Pokemon trainer catching Pokemon. Here is my Pops I collected in October:

65. Obelisk the Tormentor from Yu-Gi-Oh! (GameStop Exclusive)

I got myself another huge figure. Not only I bought the new Crash Bandicoot game, but I also grabbed this Egyptian God Monster from the classic Yu-Gi-Oh! series. Obelisk is one of the three Egyptain God cards in the series and whoever has at least one of them will be a powerful duelist. Originally, Seto Kaiba was given this monster by Ishizu Ishtar, but Yugi defeats him in the Battle City Tournaments and receives the monster as a prize.

66-68. Gohan, Maximillian Pegasus, Kagome Higurashi

On the same day, at the same mall where I got Obelisk, I got three figures from Hot Topic. I got Gohan from the Dragon Ball Super series, Pegasus from Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Kagome from Inuyasha. Did you know that Gohan is one of my favorite characters in the Dragon Ball series besides Goku? Did you also know that I had a crush on Kagome as a kid?

65-68 back story

I got these four figures when I went with my mom and brother to the mall. While my mom went with my brother to get glasses, my dad met up with us and we went shopping around the stores. The first thing I went was GameStop and I was hoping to get the new Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. While I was at it, I got the game and my eyes got stuck on that Obelisk figure. Just like a character who wanted power in Yu-Gi-Oh!, I went and bought Obelisk and added it to my collection. The next place was Hot Topic. GameStop was having a buy 3 for $27 for Pop figures so I decided to get three figures and a Dragon Ball Z fleece blanket. I scored with the help of coupons.

69. Sora with the Ultima Weapon from Kingdom Hearts III

Nice! I got him in a Walmart order to get free shipping when I ordered for the soundtrack of Skillet – Victorious. This Sora has him with the most powerful keyblade in the game. It’s called the Ultima Weapon. If the player equips it, it gives the player enhanced abilities in physical and magic attacks. With enough time and energy, the player can unlock the ability to transform in Final Form. The Ultima Weapon has different appearances from the first game to all the way to the third and getting is quite the challenge.

70. The Mandalorian with the Child [Television Moment]

Just like my Jack Skeleton figure from September, I got another moment figure set based on a TV/movie moment. This is from the Disney Plus exclusive show The Mandalorian. This figure has the Mandalorian (also called Mando) walking along with the Child in his space pod. I got this figure from Barnes and Noble in my movie date with Allison. After we went shopping, we went and watched the movie Lupin III The First in theaters.

I have a total of 70 figures

September 2020 Funko Pop Haul

Welcome back for another haul post on my collection of Funko Pops. If you been following me, anytime I collect Pops within a month, I do a special haul post about my recent collection and explain how and where I got them. In this post, I am going to share with you with my figures I collected in the month of September.

60. Fused Zamasu from Dragon Ball Super (Hot Topic Exclusive)

I got this version of Zamasu from shopping Hot Topic online. Honestly, I got him because I need something to add in my cart for free shipping.  I bought this along with a windbreaker jacket of Venom from Marvel. Zamasu is from the anime Dragon Ball Super. This version of Zamasu is when he and Goku Black (a version of Goku where a different Zamasu took over Goku) fused together. Together with the combined powers of a Kai and a mortal Saiyan, they become a dangerous enemy of the dark future of Trunks. However, after dealing with some brutal beatings from Vegito (a fused Potara form of Goku and Vegeta), Zamasu immortal body was unstable and it couldn’t match with Goku Black’s mortal body. The fused body of an immortal and mortal body has made Zamasu a hideous villain.

61-63. Joey Wheeler/Red-Eyes Black Dragon/Jack on angel statue

On a different day, I went shopping at Hot Topic in person and I did some shopping. In my visit, I bought Joey Wheeler and Red-Eyes Black Dragon from the Yu-Gi-Oh! series. If I was going to buy Joey, I had to get his iconic dragon. In the Japanese version Joey’s real name was Jonouchi Katsuya. At the same store, I also got this really big figure of this movie moment Funko figure of a scene from The Nightmare Before Christmas. This movie moment features a sad Jack Skellington with his ripped Santa suit on a statue. This is from a scene where Jack’s plan to take over Christmas fails and he was almost killed by the humans wanting to celebrate Christmas. Jack laments on his failures on this statue that holds him in sadness. This figure is really big and pricy. It cost almost the same price of 2-3 figures.

64. Cara Dune from The Mandalorion

I guess you can’t win some. I order this figure from Walmart online along with another giant figure from the same series. It’s currently delayed, but I placed an order for a giant metallic version of the Mandalorian with the Child. While I wait for this, I got this character, Cara Dune. First introduced in the 4th episode of the series, Mando meets a mercenary named Cara who was once a Rebel Shock Trooper. Together, these two make a great team and they know how to kick butt when fighting the stormtroopers. The actress who plays her is Gina Carano and according to fans, she plays the character quite well and she is also a mixed martial artist. She’s a really awesome character in the show.

I have a total of 64 figures.
