Friday Funny 118: A Supa Hot Friday!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome again to another sunny day or evening on Friday. I hope you guys are surviving this intense summer heat. As we make it to the second to last week of July, we are heading towards the upcoming August, another hot month. So much news happening that I can put into much words… or can I (To be honest, I have been behind on writing news. My life has been busy here lately.)? Besides the D23 news with Kingdom Hearts, we got more gaming news but from Evo 2017 Gaming Championship. Capcom recently released some news in regards to their titles Street Fighter V and Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite; Street Fighter V will be introducing a new and giant character in the roster named Abigail who came from the Final Fight game and MvCI released news of players being able to play as Gamora (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Jedah (Darkstalkers). If you are not a fan Capcom, I got other news for you from Tekken, Arc System Works and Arika!

Tekken 7 will be releasing a new character in the fighting roster from a different series. If you like Akuma from Street Fighter, get ready to play as Geese Howard from the Fatal Fury Series. This guy will be playable this winter. Arc System Works have been busy lately but with a good reason. On July 26th, they will be hosting a closed beta for the upcoming Dragon Ball Fighter Z; the game recently revealed that future Trunks, Piccolo and Krillin will join the roster. Besides Dragon Ball, they recently released news of a crossover game called BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. The game will include 4 different series: Persona 4 Areana, Under Night In-Birth and RWBY. Last but not least, we have what was once an April Fools Prank but now it could be an official game. Game developer Arika who once was in charge of the past game Street Fighter EX series will be creating a new fighting game. It is unknown what is the game title is but they will make it.

After 13 years after the second game, Kingdom Hearts III revealed the initial release date in the Toy Story trailer. Kingdom Hearts III is expect to be out on 2018. 13 long years!

Also, to make a long story short, this weekend is Comic-Con held at San Diego!!!

Friday Funny 110: Captain of Memorial Day

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome to another exciting episode of TGIF Friday Funny! This weekend is a three day weekend for some because Monday is Memorial Day in which we pay our respects for the veterans and soldiers who gave their lives to war and protection. While some may have to work in the weekends, others have days off; some are even graduating in schools and I would like to say congratulations to all the students. You guys made it this far and it’s up to you know which path do you want to take in life.

In other news, today is the movie (and fifth film) release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tells No Tales. This movie will have your fan favorite characters like Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and much more as they deal with some undead pirates seeking vengeance and try to find a sacred and powerful item called the Trident of Poseidon, an object that allows the user to control the seas. If pirates is not your interest, I got other news if you like samurais; Toonami on Saturday will be doing a Samurai Jack season 5 marathon and encore of the last episode if you missed out or want experience the moments again. I also did a spoiler-free review of the cartoon season if you want to know my thoughts and see if it’s worth watching.

Last but not least, feel free to check out the OWLS recent posts. In this week, check out posts from Lita, Rai, Arria and Takuto as we tackle on the topic of Strength and how do we conquer our weaknesses. Friday Funny 103: Colorful Change

Thank God it’s Friday! Hey everyone and welcome to this new episode of TGIF: Friday Funny. This is the first Friday of April and we are already finished with March. Get ready for this month’s upcoming events, such as Easter or what I like to call it Resurrection Day; this holiday will fall in April 16th. Also going on is this month’s blog tour for the OWLS and this topic is colors. We will be discussing the importance of colors of people and in an anime and talk about differences and similarities. I started off the blog tour with my topic with Rosario + Vampire and Venus talked Colors in the anime K-Project and today we have Naja talking about her topic in Naruto.

Also going on is Arria’s 11th Blog Carnival! If you have a blog post regarding to anime or manga and you want to share with other bloggers, come to the carnival and share a link. The carnival will end on April 9th, Sunday!

Also some major news! If you didn’t know, Attack on Titan is back with a season 2; however, from I heard, the anime will only have 12 episodes, but here is some good news (hopefully it’s not another April Fools Prank). Toonami announced that on April 22nd, Attack on Titan season 2 will be joining the block on Saturday nights and will be replacing JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures. Here is the schedule (depending on what timezone you are in, the times are different):

11:00 p.m. – Samurai Jack
11:30 p.m. – Dragon Ball Super
12:00 a.m. – Dragon Ball Kai
12:30 a.m. – Attack on Titan Season 2 (premiere)
1:00 a.m. – Tokyo Ghoul

Here is a question, was anybody mad that Adult Swim didn’t show the new episode of Samurai Jack and Dragon Ball Super but only showed Rick and Morty? I am not a fan of that show and I got mad. If you like the show, I bet you guys didn’t mind it. Let’s hope with the news of Attack on Titan wasn’t a prank.

My younger brother saw JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures for the first time from beginning of the episode to the end. He liked it and it was the first time in a long time we sat down and enjoyed an anime together. He enjoyed seeing Joseph fight and saw the randomness going on especially with Kars.

Last but not least, on April 12 for free users, the sequel to the hit sensation Naruto comes a generation of new shinobi. The new anime called Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is coming out and it will star Naruto’s son Boruto and his friends as they take on challenges in the new world of ninjas. The voices return along with new voices. Also, the artists who the did theme song for the Boruto movie, Kana-Boon, will be back for the anime song.

TGIF Friday Funny 84: Reclaim the Throne

Thank God it’s Friday! Hello everyone and happy Friday. This is Matthew and even though Thanksgiving was Thursday, I wish to say Happy Thanksgiving. I hope everyone had a wonderful day and got to spend time with their love ones. This is one of those times where you can eat as much food you want without worrying about eating too much or getting fat XD. This is an important holiday in the United States because we remember what are we thankful for and acknowledge what is important. In my Christian beliefs, we thank God for providing a home to live and thank for the blessings God has given us. I will say that I am thankful for my family providing me and helping me through life, I am thankful for God who never left me and always kept me safe, and finally, I am thankful for all my friends who didn’t leave me and supported me. Thank you everyone!

Judging by this title and this meme I made recently, you can tell what’s happening this next week. After this weekend, the long awaited Square Enix game Final Fantasy XV will be released globally on November 29. This game is available for PS4 and Xbox One. In this game, players will play as the Noctis and with his friends, they must save his kingdom from the enemy forces of Niflheim. To increase this hype, check out my related posts. If you are not planing to get this game because you’re spending time with Pokemon Sun and Moon or just not into this, I got better news. Anime sites like Rightstuf, Amazon and Sentai Filmworks are slashing down prices on their select anime titles for the holiday season. If you plan to shop for anime DVDs for Black Friday, Cyber Monday or just the whole month of December, check these places and spend on some anime goods!

Last but not least, another Shonen Jump titles ended this week. The action-adventure food series Toriko is over. This year is the end of another Shonen Jump titles. Nisekoi ended, Bleach is done and now Toriko is over. Don’t forget to buy the manga and experience the action of fighting animals and eating food.

Friday Funny 46: Pokemon 20th Anniversary!

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! Today is Friday and it’s also the first Friday of March. March is my favorite month besides December XD. Now that we are in March, get ready for upcoming events. We have the second superhero movie of the year called Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. We got Easter, or Resurrection Day on March 27th. We have not one but two birthdays coming up. My mom is on March 26th and mine is on 28th. More information will be updated we get closer.

This Friday post is dedication to the 20th anniversary of the long going series video game Pokemon. If you are not into Pokemon, this post will have the usual random pictures just like before ;). It has been announced by Nintendo that a new Pokemon game will be released for the holidays. The game will be called Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. Quick Poke fact: My first official Pokemon game besides Stadium and Colosseum was Pokemon Pearl.

Let us not forget why are we celebrating Christmas. We are celebrating Christmas because God has sent down His son to be born and save us from Sin. God’s gift was His beloved son, Jesus Christ. Let us give thanks to God for His ultimate gift to us. Let us put the “Christ” back into Christmas.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away…

There was a world where people witnessed a great phenomena. A man named George Lucas created one of the best Sci-Fi movies in 1977. That movie was called Star Wars. The world was shaken with great cheers and thus created a generation of fans. The movie expanded to six movies in total and each with positive and negative responses. From movies to video games to cartoon shows and a terrible Christmas special, Star Wars created a space legacy.

It is the year 2015 and a new director named J.J. Abrams along with Disney, revives the classic movie Star Wars. As this new chapter begins, old friends return and new generation of heroes rise up against a new threat: Kylo Ren.

This is a beginning of a new war.

Thank God it’s Friday! Today is episode 35 of Friday Funny and based on the intro music and opening, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be playing in theaters. Based on what I heard about this movie, this movie has positive reviews and it will appeal new and old fans. If you plan on going, there will be tons of fans in theaters. I advise to be careful and try not to use violence to get the front row seats.

Friday Funny 32: Happy belated-Thanksgiving!

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! I want to say Happy Thanksgiving to everybody (even though I am a day late)! I hope everyone had a great feast on Thursday. I bet right now everybody is suffering with leftovers with turkey and mashed potatoes. Since today is Friday, that means it’s Black Friday. It is time to shop and survive and stay up very late/early in the morning. I hear that people will be working on Friday and I will pray for safety for everyone.

In other news, Toonami will also show a marathon of the anime Parasyte from the first episode to the recent episode. This is good for those who want to see the episodes again or missed them and would to get caught up.

TGIF Friday Funny 29: November Already? Good Grief!

TGIF! Thank God It’s Friday! This the first Friday of November and it also means we are in the second to the last month of 2015! Time really flies. Now that we are done with Halloween, it is time to get ready for Christm… I mean Veterans Day and Thanksgiving. I will admit, I am mostly looking forward to Christmas. Time to save up money and keep an eye on sales because this is also the season for discounts on shops. This weekend, we have the movie “The Peanuts Movie” playing in theaters. Charlie Brown and the gang are back and on the big, silver screen! Are you ready for Thanksgiving or Christmas or both? For gamers, this is the month of new games. This month we have Star Wars Battlefront, Fallout 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Who will win for the best shooter game? Here is a weekly dose of funny:

Friday Funny 23: Sandwich-kun or Titans?

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! Another Friday means another day for a hilarious start for Friday Funny.

So what does this title mean you may ask? This is because tomorrow at Toonami, the last episode of the English Dub Sword Art Online II will premiere and tomorrow will be the last episode of Attack on Titan. Kill la Kill will be returning to Toonami and will be replacing Attack on Titan and the anime Parasyte will also be in Toonami both on October 3rd. This will be the end of two great anime and it is unknown when will they exactly return.

Besides that I am back to school and I am ready for what school has for me. It is the beginning of a new chapter for me.
