Before I begin this unboxing, I want to remind you all that if you ever want a shout-out or want me to promote your blogs/website, feel free to donate at my Ko-fi. For a small donation, I will do a shout-out to you in my next project article.
I been wanting to do this unboxing post way back in April, but due to work, coronavirus and family stuff, my life has been busy. I also got preoccupied in the recent game of Final Fantasy VII Remake. Besides this, I am here to talk about the game’s package and what version I got. If you have been keeping up with the news I been writing, Square Enix released information on the pre-order bonuses of Final Fantasy VII Remake. There are three versions in which fans can either get the standard, deluxe or the expensive 1st Class Edition. Knowing that I wanted this game when it was first announced, I settled for the deluxe edition; it had many goodies than the standard, but it was also affordable than getting the game over $100. The deluxe edition comes with the game and standard case, a steelbook case with Sephiroth on the cover, a mini soundtrack from the game, DLC such as a Chocobo Chick and Cactuar and an artbook. Depending where you buy it from a retailer, you also get some exclusives. I went ahead and pre-ordered at my GameStop which a tin box and a Shinra keycard replica.
I don’t collect steelbooks often, but they are pretty cool to have. I have a Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XV, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT and God of War. When you get the case for Final Fantasy VII Remake, you get to have Sephiroth on the cover and on this inside, there are two slots in which you can put you game discs in it. The inside has a picture of Cloud staring at the Shinra Reactor.
The artbook is pretty cool since it does show the designs on the characters and enemies. I am not going to show everything since I don’t want to take up space on the memory. The soundtrack is pretty small. It only comes with 12 tracks from the game.
Last but not least, we have the keycard. The tin box is small, but pretty shiny. The front of the card has the title and logo of Final Fantasy VII Remake and on the back has the ID number and the Shinra logo. If you are wondering, the ID card number does nothing. I was curious and I tried to see if I can use it for an exclusive DLC code since it has the same number digits as a PSN code. However, it doesn’t do anything. This is just something to have and pretend as if you are either a Shinra worker or an Avalanche member trying to sneak into the base.
So this what it looks like if you get the deluxe edition. Did you get this edition too or did you get something else?
Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming out on March 3rd, 2020. Now that we have a release date, it’s time to start saving up on getting this game if you plan to buy it. Depending where you buy this game, some retailers will give gamers more than just what is being sold. It’s been revealed that if players are planning to pre-order Final Fantasy VII Remake, players will get an exclusive item. Fans of the game will get the exclusive serialized Shinra Key Card and collectible Tin Box. This item was used in the game where Cloud and his friends entered the Shinra building in order to save Aerith. Now you can hold the key to some of Shinra’s confidential rooms. Based on assumptions, players can get this collector’s item from pre-ordering either the standard or deluxe as long as you get it from GameStop.
Hey everyone, welcome back to another fun post! So far I haven’t gotten my copy of Marvel Spider-Man yet, but I did snag some really awesome nerd goods. I got anime, merchandise and a comic book!
On Sept 4th, I got two anime series for a good price and a lanyard from Rightstuf. I bought Night Raid 1931 for about $8 because it was cheap and I highly recommend getting it since the license for the anime is expired because of Aniplex. You can also get this for Blu-Ray for the listing price of $10. Both sets have all the episodes and two OVA. I got myself another lanyard and this one is from Sword Art Online. I like to collect them because I like to support my favorite series and it feels as if you are wearing a new shirt for your keys. I also bought JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Blu-Ray set 1 during a one day sale. I was actually debating on getting this one or the classic Fist of the North Star, but I picked JoJo because I enjoyed the anime on TV and I wanted to take advantage of the sale. This set includes parts 1 and 2 all in English Dub.
Also on the same day, my Pop Funko figures came in the mail. I got these from Barnes and Nobles. As a way to celebrate 90 years with Mickey Mouse, Pop Funko! released a set of new figures in tribute of Mickey Mouse and his variations such as the classic Steamboat Willie and Sorcerer Apprentice. I got the classic Steamboat Willie figure because I am a nostalgic/retro enthusiast and I felt like getting this version was highly recommended. Mickey Mouse started out in this classic cartoon and became an important mascot for Walt Disney. This awesome golden diamon figure can only be bought at Barnes and Noble. They say diamonds is a girl’s bestfriend, but to me, gold is my best friend. I wanted to get this and a Mister Rodger’s figure because I heard they get sold out fast; unfortunately, they did run out of Mister Rodgers.
Last but not least, this came in the mail today. I got ordered these during the Labor Sale this past weekend. This GameStop exclusive Vinimate was on sale on the listing of $5. Since I do like Kingdom Hearts, I couldn’t resist this deal. The comic book Marvel: The Infinity Gauntlet was bought with a coupon code from Barnes and Noble. I love Marvel and the movie Infinity War and I wanted to see how was Thanos and the rest of the heroes portrayed in this classic comic book.
